Based on the results of the calculation of the N-gain score test, the average N-gain score for the experimental class using a virtual laboratory was 44.85%, which was in the less effective category. With a minimum N-gain score of 0% and 90%. Meanwhile, the average N-gain score in the control class using a real laboratory was 19.45%, which was included in the ineffective category. With a minimum N-gain score of -90% and a maximum of 90%. Data were analyzed using a two-way ANAVA technique. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in conceptual understanding between students who were taught using a virtual laboratory and students who were taught through a real laboratory as indicated by the p-value (0.000) < a (0.05); (2) there are differences in conceptual understanding between students who have high learning interest and students who have low learning interest as indicated by the p-value (0.000) < a (0.05) and (3) there is no interaction between virtual laboratory learning.","PeriodicalId":373677,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Riset Pendidikan MIPA","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131648941","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to describe the development of invertebrate zoological learning videos based on aspects of macrozoobenthic ecology in Toaya river waters and the results of the research can be made into videos about the types of Macrozoobenthos as a media for learning biology. The method used is descriptive method with purposive sampling technique. The results of the research have been developed as learning media in the form of videos with a percentage value of 78% for content experts, 80% for design experts, and 77% for media experts. Meanwhile, there were 20 student trials, the percentage reached 87%. This shows that the video made is suitable for use as a learning medium. The number of Macrozoobenthos found were 4 Macramia magnifica, Bellamya javanica, Faunus ater, and Ocypoda stimpsoni. The diversity of macrozoobenthos in the waters of the Toaya river, Sindue District, Donggala Regency is low, for very abundant abundance, high density and low frequency, very high dominance, and low diversity.
