To analize the masterpiece of Russian writer we took an innovative category  – the word-vessel, which interdisciplinary concept we based on a function model  of Klein’s bottle, alchemical vessel, biblical vessels at Cana, ideas of metametaphor and insideout by Kedrov. The writer witnessed historic changes in Russia of the late 19th — early 20th century and in his many works included a great number of valuable comments and insightful analysis of the processes taking place on the territory of the decaying Russian Empire. The last years of the writer's life coincided with a period of formation of the Soviet authority, which Korolenko did not accept. This fact was often overlooked or ignored  in the Soviet critical works on the writer and only after the collapse of the USSR it was possible to conduct an overall analysis of Korolenko’s rich heritage. The aforementioned archetype has been analyzed and characterized in the paper in order to interpret the novel  Crime and Punishment  in the psychoanalytical key. This category has been analyzed at the level of the structure and plot of the work. Consequently, the author of the present article attempts to interpret the functions of the main characters of  Crime and Punishment  and divides them into triads related to relevant Jungian archetypes. Analiza zjawiska na przykładzie programu „Wiesti o 20:00” w czasie konfliktu wojennego na wschodzie Ukrainy","authors":"Yaryna Onishechko","doi":"10.14746/KW.2016.6.14","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.14746/KW.2016.6.14","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of this paper is to discuss issues related to the use of media as a tool of information warfare: analysis of randomly selected episodes of the Russia-1 headline news show in terms of publications related to the conflict in the eastern Ukraine. Russia was selected, because of the fact that its mass media for many years have been engaged in shaping anti Ukrainian attitudes not only within their own country but also abroad. The importance of information has changed. Some time ago, it was  a tool supporting the implementation of active military operations, but now it could be used as a main force, which sets the direction and determines the effects of the war. This paper attempts to answer the question of what role the Russian state television plays in conducting information warfare against Ukraine, supporting military operations in the east of the country. Works published inRussia andPoland, also inFrance,Great Britain,Italy,Israel,Germany,USA andAustralia have been deeply analysed. It was proved that first publications were dedicated to Varlam Shalamov’s biography and the portrayal of the Gulag civilization (since the second half of 90’s, last century). Problems of poetic in works are dominating in last publications. In my article I want to explain the issues  of discourse in which magic and religion are entangled, and depict as they relate to the local residents. It also has the task of documenting specific magical techniques used by healers called “Szeptuchy”. I examined those aspects personally by visiting any case that is mentioned in the article and by carrying out appropriate conversations and being the subject to their treatment. I also witnessed and was the object of those techniques, therefore, I was able to get closer to the true nature of the mentioned unique in the country phenomenon. The author takes as its basis the method of hermeneutics  of words by Vardan Hayrapetyan. Especially the basic categories such as the world man (homo mundi), the Other and its variants: the self (rus. самость), otherness (rus. дру­гость), the alien (rus. чужесть) and two triads, which postulate two types of intellectual situations. Ma­rozawa was one of the victims of Stalin's regime. The author puts forward the thesis that in Belarus today the same methods are used to eliminate political opposition as sixty years ago. The paper presents examples of modern political prisoners in Belarus. Next, the author analyzes several surviving works of Larysa Marozawa. The automated graph visualization technique is introduced. Both the retrieval and the visualization of linguistic data in form of directed graphs have been conducted with the use of available computer software. The material on which the above-mentioned operations have been performed comprises the group of Russian adjectives with без- / бес- prefixes and the synonymic chains initiated by them. The automated extraction with the use of regular expressions, the steps leading to the edition of the generated database and the import of the final data base into a visualization software are described in the article. Some interpreters believe, however, that the proper context for the discussion of Pelevin is not postmodernism, but the traditional Russian cultural categories.
