{"title":"»Rekonsi«: prevodi Kosovelovih konsov in Chestermanove prevajalske strategije","authors":"Robert Grošelj","doi":"10.31261/pls.2021.11.01.14","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31261/pls.2021.11.01.14","url":null,"abstract":"Prispevek je posvečen analizi italijanskih in hrvaških prevodov izbranih konstruktivističnih pesmi (konsov) Srečka Kosovela, enega najpomembnejših slovenskih pesnikov (gre za sedem konsov v italijanskem prevodu Jolke Milič in hrvaškem prevodu Josipa Ostija). Prevedeni konsi (»rekonsi«) so bili analizirani glede na prevajalske strategije A. Chestermana (predvsem skladenjske, deloma tudi pomenske in pragmatične), obenem pa je bilo opredeljeno celostno prevodno razmerje med izhodiščnimi pesmimi in prevodi ter globalni prevajalski pristop. Analiza je pokazala, da tako v hrvaških kot v italijanskih prevodih Kosovelovih konsov prevladuje privzeti prevod, ki je pogostejši v hrvaščini; v italijanskih prevodih se pogosteje pojavijo druge skladenjske prevajalske strategije, enako velja za sinonimijo in pragmatično spremembo informacije; hrvaški prevodi dosledneje ohranjajo izhodiščne retorične sheme in so oblikovno bližje izhodiščnim konsom; v obeh prevodih se tipi povedi in tipografske značilnosti ujemajo z izhodiščnimi. Razlogi za razlike med hrvaškimi in italijanskimi prevodi lahko ležijo v jezikovnih razlikah, slogovnem vrednotenju prevodnih rešitev (v kontekstu ciljnega jezika in ciljne književne tradicije), interpretaciji in informativno-interaktivni vlogi prevajalca. Kljub razlikam pa lahko tako hrvaške kot italijanske »rekonse« — glede na izvirne pesmi — označimo kot poustvarjalne prevode (po F. R. Jonesu) oz. verodostojne prevode (po A. Lefeveru), kot metapesmi, ki skušajo mimetično poustvariti izhodiščno obliko (po J. Holmesu). {"title":"Prevod kot kulturni in literarni artefakt. Primerjava dveh čeških prevodov Prešernove pesmi Slovo od mladosti","authors":"Alenka Jensterle-Doležal","doi":"10.31261/pls.2021.11.01.10","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31261/pls.2021.11.01.10","url":null,"abstract":"V prispevku analiziram dva prevoda Prešernove pesmi Slovo od mladosti kot kulturna in literarna artefakta: prevod Františka Ladislava Čelakovskega (1799—1852) iz leta 1832 (izdan v časopisu Časopis českého Muzea) kot tipičen prevod romantičnega ustvarjalca in enega od začetnikov prevajanja umetniških del na Češkem ter prevod taiste Prešernove pesmi Josefa Hiršala (1920—2003), ki je bil izdan v knjigi France Prešeren, Můj sen šel po hladině, 1978. Pri analizi drugega prevoda ugotavljam, kako se izraža modernizem v prevajalski strategiji. Prevod je primer jezikovne mojstrovine slavnega pesnika eksperimentalne poezije in znanega prevajalca (zaradi političnih razmer se je pod prevod podpisal urednik knjige Viktor Kudělka). V primerjavi me zanimajo tako jezikovne in stilistične rešitve kot tudi kulturološka vprašanja in vprašanje zgodovinskega konteksta. В первую очередь это касается литературных групп «Молодая Муза» и «Украинская хата», стремившихся освоить эстетику модернизма. Их эстетические установки былиориентированы на западноевропейскую философию, поэзию французских символистов, а также на восприятие художественных тенденций, идущих из Польши и России. This concept is paradigmatic within the modernist creative tendencies and programs between the two world wars. Although Library published only the translation of Poe’s Tales of Mystery and Imagination, the list of announced translations, the paratexts that accompany the Library’s promotional material, and the translation published, allow us to discuss specific translation strategies of Albatross. Albatross translation practice is a template for more comprehensive thinking about poetic innovations of Serbian literature after First World War. Analiza pokazała, że tłumacz wykorzystuje trzy kody językowo-literackie: styl Młodej Polski, własny poetycki idiolekt oraz język staropolskiej Biblii jako wzorzec archaizacyjny. Ze wzorców tych korzysta jednak wybiórczo i krytycznie, unikając manierystycznych rozwiązań translatorskich. Ivo Vojnović’s text from 1900 was translated into Polish relatively quickly. Its first excerpts were published as early as 1904. The translation of the entire text by Helena d’Abancourt de Franqueville appeared in the periodical “Przegląd Polski” in 1906, and the book version was published in 1910. In the same year, the play was also staged in the theatre. {"title":"Wilde about Wilde — The Translation of Oscar Wilde’s Salomé in Croatian Literature of the Early 20th Century","authors":"I. Although Croatian writers of that time generally did not read the original works of British authors but rather their translations, Wilde’s popularity in Germany and Vienna sparked interest in his works among the Croatian readership and spectatorship. This paper explores the translation of Wilde’s Salomé from German by Julije Benešić and Nikola Andrić, and the complex influence that this translation had on Croatian literature of early modernism, relying primarily on the interpretation of the same motif in the texts of young Fran Galović and Miroslav Krleža. The framework for the analysis is provided by Loren Glass’s idea of a significant role of obscene vocabulary in the aesthetics of the twentieth-century Anglo-American literary modernism. W tłumaczeniu Jana Kasprowicza natomiast passus ten liczy aż 46 wersów. W pracy nad przekładem tego największego dla modernistycznego poety tragediopisarza korzystał on z edycji i translacji wybitnego niemieckiego badacza — Ulricha Wilamowitz-Moellendorffa. Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą przyjrzenia się polskiemu przekładowi właśnie w kontekście niemieckiego tłumaczenia, ponieważ dopiero porównując mikrocząstki polskiej i niemieckiej wersji, dostrzeżemy różnice i kierunki interpretacji obu.
