Triage is the process of sorting out patients according to their level of emergency. Australasian Triage Scale (ATS) is one of the triage systems implemented in ER. In practice, sometimes the triage carried out by nurses is not appropriate based on the guidelines, resulting over triage or under triage in patients. The aims of this study is to determine the effectiveness of poster media on increasing nurses knowledge about ATS in Emergency Room Bali Mandara Hospital. This research is a quasi-experimental research design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design Without Group Control. The number of samples in this study were 26 nurses obtained by total sampling. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire and ATS poster. Data analysis used Paired Sample T-Test. This research obtained the average score of nurses knowledge about ATS on pretest 6,08 and posttest increased to 7,58. Bivariate analysis obtained p-value of <0.001 which means that there is a significant effect of poster media on increasing nurses knowledge about ATS. Nurses should have a good understanding of triage so that they can perform optimal management of the patient in emergency situation.","PeriodicalId":368213,"journal":{"name":"Nursing and Health Sciences Journal (NHSJ)","volume":"16 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134258484","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The workload of nurses is increasing and they are required to quickly adapt to the change in the function of the treatment room into a Covid-19 Isolation Room. High self-efficacy is needed for motivation and performance as well as controlling stress. This study aims to obtain an overview of the sources of nurse self-efficacy and explore other themes related to nurse self-efficacy in the Covid-19 Isolation Room. This research is a qualitative research by conducting semi-structured in-depth interviews with 12 informants. The informants were selected by purposive sampling consisting of the shift nurse, the team leader and the head nurse. Data analysis techniques with manual thematic analysis. The stress faced by nurses in the Covid-19 Isolation Room is related to workload, job risks and relational relationships at work and in the community. Sources of informants' self-efficacy were obtained from mastery experiences through internships, vicarious experiences from role models and social persuasion from friends and superiors. Three themes were found that affect self-efficacy, namely personal, organizational and external variables. In each theme also found several sub-themes. In order to increase nurse's self-efficacy, it is necessary to utilize self-efficacy sources, maximize personal variables and get support from family and organizations. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":368213,"journal":{"name":"Nursing and Health Sciences Journal (NHSJ)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122061365","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main route of spreading COVID-19 is through the respiratory tract, but this virus also spread through extra respiratory route. This literature review aimed to describe the ocular transmission as an alternative route of COVID-19 transmission. This literature review study used sources of article obtained through ProQuest, Springer, ScienceDirect, PubMed, and Google Scholar with range 2019-2020 publication years and were traced using a combination of search term for ocular transmission, virus receptor, eye manifestation and COVID-19. Previous research used Experimental design, Case study, and Cross-sectional study, and published from 2019 to 2020. Then analyzed by PRISMA diagram method with four stages starting from identification, screening, eligibility, and included. 4 articles used Experimental study design, 4 articles used Cross-sectional study design, and 2 articles used case study design. This study showed that COVID-19 RNA was found on ocular (conjunctiva and cornea) in a low percentage (2.23%-24%). Patients with confirmed COVID-19 could have ocular manifestations. COVID-19 enter the human body through the eye by spike protein binds to eye receptors that are: ACE2, CD147/Basigin/EMMPRIN, TMPRSS2, ANPEP and AGTR2. Then this virus transferred to the respiratory tract through the nasolacrimal duct. The study showed that ocular transmission can be an alternative route of COVID-19 transmission even with a low percentage level, so it is important for health worker to wear eye protector.","PeriodicalId":368213,"journal":{"name":"Nursing and Health Sciences Journal (NHSJ)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133115532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The length of treatment impacts the compliance of PLWHA in accessing and getting treatment. The Indonesian government's strategy in the HIV/AIDS control system is to expand services to the Puskesmas level, from counseling and testing to ARV care/treatment. The problem is that the number of health personnel in charge of the program is limited. The limited number of health workers will impact their ability to follow up with PLWHA to obtain services, especially maintaining ARV consumption. Agronursing is the provision of agricultural-based nursing services in areas of agriculture, plantations, waters, or industrial agriculture. The concept of the agronursing-based care model is by optimizing the duties of nurses in agricultural or rural areas as an extension of the government's program in controlling HIV/AIDS, which is currently still at the Puskesmas level. The agronursing-based care model is an opportunity to reduce loss to follow-up in PLWHA. Implementing the agronursing-based care model includes providing comprehensive nursing care, providing ARV therapy, providing support and counseling, managing the service system for PLWHA, and facilitating outreach and referrals to health centers, hospitals, or NGOs. Further studies are needed to ensure that the agronursing-based care model effectively reduces loss to follow-up in PLWHA and achieves HIV/AIDS control programs.","PeriodicalId":368213,"journal":{"name":"Nursing and Health Sciences Journal (NHSJ)","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124225199","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
