However, since the user's home location is not generally open to the public, many researchers have been attempting to develop a more accurate home location estimation. A social network that expresses relationships between users is used to estimate the users' home locations. The network-based home location estimation method with iteration, which propagates the estimated locations, is used to estimate more users' home locations. In this study, we analyze the function of network-based home location estimation with iteration while using the social network based on following relationships on Twitter. The results indicate that the function that selects the most frequent location among the friends' location has the best accuracy. Our analysis also shows that the 88% of users, who are in the social network based on following relationships, has at least one correct home location within one-hop (friends and friends of friends). According to this characteristic of the social network, we indicate that twice is sufficient for iteration.","PeriodicalId":367414,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference On Advanced Informatics: Concepts, Theory And Application (ICAICTA)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121163856","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Named entities (NEs) tend to become out-of-vocabulary of the translation models so that the translation quality of sentences including them are often degraded. For this problem, we propose to take advantage of class-based translation models. We employ a named entity recognizer to replace the named entities on the training corpus with a unique class label, then train the translation and language models. The input sentence is also NE-replaced and translated into the target sentence, whose class labels are then converted back into their original names. The experimental evaluation revealed that the proposed approach was effective on OOV named entities. We also found that acombination of class-based and standard SMTs further improved performance.","PeriodicalId":367414,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference On Advanced Informatics: Concepts, Theory And Application (ICAICTA)","volume":"491 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116194628","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed method can help improve the human cognitive while interacting with the model. In particular, medical learners or practitioners can enhance their understanding of the patient symptom via the use of the proposed model in arbitrary ways to explore and observe the symptom of patient conveniently. The special kind of interaction of Empirical Modelling allows the users to learn, keep, and share their experience of the model. Empirical Modelling (EM) is a principle that can be used to build the interactive modelling on web-based environment to enable users to build artefacts in an unusually open-ended and flexible manner. In addition, user can freely create or define more formula and definition to the model on the domain of their study or observation. The Infographic Visual Analytics model proposed in this work is implemented using JS-Eden. JS-Eden is the web-based environment build under the principles of Empirical Modelling. This model allows users to visualize the data streams and analyze the vital signs' symptoms diagnosis. The diagnosis results come from the determination of dependencies between the thresholds and the actual value measured. JS-Eden provides the facility to visualize and analyze the multiple dimensions of ICU numeric data streams on an Infographic Visual Analytics platform. Multiple line charts and vital sign symptom annotated configurations offer a comprehensive tool to explore, analyze, observe, and learn about the critical level of patient symptom conveniently. Moreover, this type of model allows the reduction of cognitive burden in exploring multiple monitors and gaining insight or understanding of those physiological data behavior. Lastly, it can be further developed as a good monitoring technique to monitor multiple vital signs of patient in critical cases.","PeriodicalId":367414,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference On Advanced Informatics: Concepts, Theory And Application (ICAICTA)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125939501","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We propose to use a modified value of the file size, where the original CDM uses an unmodified file size. Our application is a music score analysis. We have chosen piano pieces from five different composers. We have selected 75 famous pieces (15 pieces for each composer). We computed the distances among all pieces by using the modified CDM. We use the K-nearest neighbor method when we estimate the composer of each piece of music. The modified CDM shows improved accuracy. The difference is statistically significant.","PeriodicalId":367414,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference On Advanced Informatics: Concepts, Theory And Application (ICAICTA)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125491450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Diagnosis of arm flapping requires clinicians to use the standard Repetitive Behaviour Scale-Revised (RBSR) which is a structured questionnaire with the caregivers to detect the arm flapping behavioural patterns or cues. This method involves clinicians in multiple long sessions, risking a delay in diagnosis and usually an expensive process. Moreover, trained clinicians may not be available in some areas. The focus of this work is to propose a development of a computational framework to automate the diagnosis process of arm flapping. Here, we show how the human action recognition (HAR) techniques, namely, the pose estimation and the skeletal representation are utilized simultaneously to segment parts of the human body (head, neck, elbows and shoulders) into stickman model. We show how the stickman model allows us to estimate arm asymmetry (during arm flapping) which indicates possible sign of autism. The framework developed has been tested against data taken from a public database and has shown a high accuracy in detecting the repetitive behavioural pattern among young children. The results show that our method can provide efficient results in clinical assessment.","PeriodicalId":367414,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference On Advanced Informatics: Concepts, Theory And Application (ICAICTA)","volume":"173 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116003061","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose a system to extract the aspect sentiment pair and compute the rating for each grouped aspect. Our approach starts with selecting the subjective sentences in the reviews. Then, it extracts aspects and opinions from the sentences, and determine the orientation of the sentiment. Aspects are clustered together by using WordNet with the prior knowledge of the aspect categories. Finally, it measures the rating for each aspect category. We evaluate our approach by three criteria: precision, recall, and F1-Measure. Since the inhibition of activity and polymerization of FtsZ prevents the mycobacteria reproduction, five types of FtsZ inhibitors were defined in the previous experiments, and their effect on FtsZ was investigated. In the present study, we employ these inhibitors as ligands and investigate the specific interactions between FtsZ and these inhibitors at atomic and electronic levels, using ab initio molecular simulations based on protein-ligand docking, classical molecular mechanics optimization and ab initio fragment molecular orbital (FMO) calculations. From the ab initio molecular simulations, some key amino acid residues of FtsZ for the strong binding between FtsZ and ligand are highlighted. Based on the results, we propose a new inhibitor and demonstrate that it has a large binding affinity to FtsZ to be a potent inhibitor to FtsZ.","PeriodicalId":367414,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference On Advanced Informatics: Concepts, Theory And Application (ICAICTA)","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121719732","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most of retinal images have various sizes and shapes of optic disc due to the photographic nature and the sizes of patients' eyes. This leads to the difficulty in detecting the disc correctly. There are a number of ways to detect optic disc. In this work, we propose to extract optic disc boundary and its location using blood vessels origin. Due to the fact that optic disc will always be the origin of main blood vessels. This paper proposes a novel method for automatically detecting optic disc on retinal images. The proposed method consists of 4 main processes as follows 1) Improve image quality using image enhancement techniques on YIQ domain 2) Detect blood vessels using Tyler Coye algorithm and improve the result using Morphological together with feature extraction 3) Locate optic disc using Morphological end point 4) Draw the boundary of optic disc. The performance of the method is evaluated based on dataset from DIARETDB1 which is a public retinal image dataset. Therefore we make a better communication aid application which detects eye movement using image processing techniques. Several applications that detect line-of-sight are proposed so far however, the cost of these applications are very high and cannot be used easily.
