The first model is an unstable and minimum phase system while the second one is a stable and non-minimum phase system. Knowing that the operating point change can affect the output plant behavior negatively, we want to study two control strategies applied to this plant. Specifically, the control robustness is analyzed regarding the model switching. The first strategy estimates online the plant model parameters while the second one reconfigures the initial tuning parameters of model predictive control. In fact, one adds to the model adaptation a fuzzy logic supervisor which performs the second adaptation regarding measurable performance criteria. Finally, we consider inequality constraints on the control signal, its variation and the output signal to highlight the relevance of our approach.","PeriodicalId":365141,"journal":{"name":"2012 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125586674","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First the system is linearized at its equilibrium, then the controlled Lagrangian method is used for the linearized system to design its tracking controller. In this structure, power electronic devices are extensively used providing the possibility of new control strategies in the distribution network. To implement these strategies, a complete dynamic analysis of the distributed generation system is needed. In this paper, exploiting a common feature of almost all the distributed generation components that is their individual modeling in Hamiltonian form, we propose a systematic methodology of obtaining the complete distributed generation system model. Furthermore, we show that this model is also in Hamiltonian form with certain damping properties that can be effectively used for stable control designs. As an example, a particular distributed generation system that includes wind and photovoltaic generations is modeled and simulated.","PeriodicalId":365141,"journal":{"name":"2012 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128195942","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Usually, it is performed by specialized security experts after development is completed and the application deployed into production, but recent research has proposed a model based penetration test framework for web applications which provides a repeatable, systematic and cost-efficient approach fully integrated into a security-oriented software development life cycle. In this context, we evaluate the test specification language TTCN-3 as a modeling language for web penetration testing and show how its inherent abstraction features make the process of generating web penetration test campaigns easier. In particular, we demonstrate the advantages of combining separate models for the relevant web vulnerabilities and web application functionalities, with a generic web abstraction model and a TTCN-3 test framework model.","PeriodicalId":365141,"journal":{"name":"2012 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125953411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We have tested our method with a curve dataset composed of 11 open and closed curves. The results show that the proposed method performs qualitatively well on the test dataset. The singular value decomposition (SVD) and least square (LS) techniques are used for estimating modal components present in the Prony modelled grid voltage waveform. The conventional Prony spectrum equation is also modified to show the accurate average amplitude of each modal component in the frequency domain. The proposed modification of the conventional Prony spectrum equation eliminates the problems of threshold setting and zero value of damping factor of each modal component. PQ analysis is performed by using synthetically generated voltage waveforms based on an adaptive algorithm. The simulation results presented in this paper show that the Prony analysis can be an efficient tool for PQ assessment.","PeriodicalId":365141,"journal":{"name":"2012 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131675876","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The output of the system is restricted due to manufacturing considerations. Structure of identifier is modeled using a multilayer feedforward neural network. Based on the proposed fitness function, genetic algorithm is used to optimally adjust parameters of the neural network. The proposed neuro-identifier system receives the levitated ball positions and system inputs in the previous time step and predicts the next ball position. The identifier is guaranteed to learn the rule that a large (small) system inputs will generate large (small) outputs. As long as the identifier is learned, the system can be controlled. Control signals are frequently updated within equal time intervals, where this proper control signals are calculated using the back propagation mechanism. Whenever an input is applied to the system, the controller starts calculating the next control signal. Simulations are performed in a Delphi 7 environment, where the system equations are solved using Runge-Kutta algorithm. The simulation results present the effectiveness of the proposed methods.","PeriodicalId":365141,"journal":{"name":"2012 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128272102","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
