Though post-structuralists all present different critiques of structuralism, common themes among them include the rejection of the self-sufficiency of structuralism, as well as an interrogation of the binary oppositions that constitute its structures. Accordingly, post-structuralism discards the idea of interpreting media (or the world) within pre-established, socially constructed structures. The purpose of this research was to revisit Post-Structuralism by selecting George Orwell's Animal Farm as a target text for this research. Post-Structuralists like Derrida (1966),Foucault (1994), and Barthes (1975) argue that no ultimate truth can be found with the help of binary opposition. Power and knowledge change the truth and pre-existing realities into a new phenomena. This research endorses the ideas of poststructuralists and Animal Farm offers allegorical representation which indicates a multiplicity of truth.","PeriodicalId":365110,"journal":{"name":"Global Language Review","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114646872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Deconstruction theory states that language is a system of signs (signifier/signified) and, more distinctively, a system of binary oppositions, differences and contradictions. With the application of the Difference, as a tool, the study tries to investigate the non-centricity and free play of signifiers in the novel. The study also identifies the binary oppositions in the novel and destabilizes them by the application of deconstruction theory, given by Jacques Derrida. The result suggests that the deconstructive interpretation of Moth Smoke is rarely definite; instead, it seeks to always problematize the meaning of the text and suggest the depth to which the text operates. The new standpoints regarding man's great effort to survive in society, desire, death, depravity, power, jealousy, redundancy, insatiability, desire, and injustice of our judiciary system are deconstructed.","PeriodicalId":365110,"journal":{"name":"Global Language Review","volume":"485 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115306273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recently, Metaverse has started Neural Machine Translation (NMT) for the improvement of translation. NMT uses artificial neural networks to predict a more appropriate word choice and sequence. This research investigates the efficiency of Neural Machine Translation (NMT) in translating text from Urdu to the English language. The Oxford Urdu English Dictionary and FARHANG E AASFIA dictionaries have been used as validation parameters in translation. The semantic and syntactic errors have been segregated and categorized with Antoine Berman’s Twelve Deforming Tendencies for rectification. Major findings reveal that the most frequent errors result from transliteration that damages the semantic and syntactic structure of the text.","PeriodicalId":365110,"journal":{"name":"Global Language Review","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129908530","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The term ‘Womanism' encapsulates the varied dynamics of the black woman's literary experience as it distinguishes itself from the feminism of the White Woman. The predicament of women in postcolonial Ghana is the focus of Aidoo’s attention. Aidoo’s vision is historical, also. In her short stories, she explores the challenges faced by women in post-independence Ghana. In the period of transition, the African woman's identity is brought into conflict with traditions and cultural modernization. Aidoo’s predominant concern is to reflect on women’s increasing alienation in contemporary African society with the help of tradition and modernity. In Aidoo’s vision, Africa’s progress is inseparable from the social, economic,political and psychological liberation of women. No Sweetness Here and Other Stories attempts to make African women aware of their agency, which is the first step towards their liberation.","PeriodicalId":365110,"journal":{"name":"Global Language Review","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130591898","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
