In this study the independent variables are self-confidence, and the dependent variable is anxiety for competition. The measuring instrument used in this study is a level of selfconfidence and a competing scale of anxiety.In this study the sampling technique uses the technique of nonprobability sampling. 105 members of the modern dance community in Padang city were the sample in this study. Alpha Cronbach technique was used in validity and reliability tests in this study. The validity of coefficient results on the confidence scale moves from rx-0.341 to r-0.889 with a reliability coefficient of a-0.943, while the competition anxiety scale moves from rix0.324 to r-0.737 with a reliability coefficient of a = 0.919. The correlation value was -0.571, with a meaning level of 0.000, which means the hypothesis is accepted, based on the data analysis.This indicates a relationship significant among the members of the modern dance community in Kota Padang between self-confidence and competing anxiety. In IndonesiaThe two dimensions of parental meta-emotion are emotion coaching and emotion dismissing. The independent variable in this study is emotion coaching and the dependent variable are emotion coaching and emotion dismissing. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling technique with 97 mothers in Bandung City. The measuring instrument used in this study is Emotion Regulation Checklist (ERC) and Maternal Emotion Style Questionnaire (MESQ). The validity and reliability test in this study uses the Cronbach Alpha technique. The result of the validity coefficient on ERC move from 0,339 to 0,953 with reliability coefficient of a = 0,951 for liability/negativity dimension and 0,948 for emotion regulation dimension. While on MESQ move from 0,317 to 0,697 with reliability coefficient of a = 0,649 for emotion regulation dimension and 0,747 for emotion dismissing dimension. Based on data analysis, a correlation value between emotion coaching and emotion regulation is 0,139 with a significance level of 0,173 and a correlation value between emotion dismissing and emotion regulation is -0,416 with a significance level of 0,000. The hypothesis in this study is there is a negative relationship between authoritarian parenting with emotional maturity, in assumption that the higher authoritarian parenting, then the higher emotional maturity and the lower authoritarian parenting, then the lower the emotional maturity itself. The subjects that used in this study are students at the SMP Talitakum Medan, in which the population consists of 98 students. Data obtained from the scale to measure authoritarian parenting and emotional maturity. The calculation of the data began by doing a test prerequisite analysis (the test of assumptions) that consists of a test of normality and a test of linearity. The data analysis in this study uses the Product Moment Correlation with SPSS 21 for Windows. The results of analysis showed the correlation coefficient at - 0,569 of the significance 0.000 (p < 0.05). This shows there is a negative relationship between authoritarian parenting with emotional maturity. The results of this study indicate that the variable of emotional maturity can be predicted by authoritarian parenting at 32.4 percent and 67.6 percent of the rest are influenced by other factors which not examined in this study. The independent variable in this study is spirituality and the dependent variable is the readiness of the elderly in facing death. The measuring instruments used in this study were the spirituality scale and the elderly readiness scale in facing death. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with a total sample size of 50 elderly. The validity test uses the Corrected Item-Total Correlation technique and the reliability test uses the Alpha Cronbach technique. The trial results showed the coefficient of spirituality validity ranged from 0.351 to 0.863, while the reliability coefficient was 0.967. The results of the validity coefficient on the readiness scale of the elderly in the face of death were 0.325 to 0.755, while the reliability coefficient was 0.932. Based on the results of data analysis, the correlation coefficient is 0.636 with a significance level of p = 0.000. This means that there is a significant relationship with a positive direction between spirituality and the readiness of the elderly in facing death at the Tresna Werdha Sabai Nan Aluih Sic Ring Social Home. So it can be interpreted that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. This research was conducted at Putri Evangeline Booth Orphanage located on Jl. Samanhudi No. 27, Hamdan, Medan and the Putra Wiliam Booth Orphanage located on Jl. K. L. Yos Sudarso No. 10, Medan. This study uses primary data for hypothesis testing. While the data collection method used is a questionnaire that was distributed to the study sample. The sample used in this study were 101 respondents. Data analysis technique used in this research is to use Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis method which is done with the help of SPSS 25 for Windows software. The results of data analysis show that the correlation value of product moment is -0.868. This means that there is a negative relationship between empathy and loneliness. The influence of empathy variable on loneliness is 75.3 percent, the remaining 24.7 percent is influenced by other factors not examined. From this study, we can also know that empathy held by children at Putri Evangeline Orphanage and Putra Wiliam Booth Orphanage are included in the high category. Loneliness felt by children is included in the low category.
