This study first of all describes the fault line indicator prototype in which different communication protocols can be used successfully. The capacity of equipment or systems to operate properly in their electromagnetic environment without contributing excessive electromagnetic disturbance to anything in that environment is measured by electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing. This paper also contains various compatibility and immunity test methods and their results of a device prototype that finds faults in high voltage lines using the Rogowski coil technique alongside with electromagnetic field immunity tests. In this study, four different electromagnetic compatibility tests are applied to the device designed as a fault line indicator with the parameters specified in the standards and successfully results are obtained.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"328 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123057960","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In general, there are 2 types of solar cells that have different functions and prices. Monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar cells are compared to study suitability for use in Thailand. Both solar cells are tasked with supplying power to two different loads: a lamp and a motor. Voltage, current, and power are measured in order to ascertain the solar panel’s power supply characteristics and take into account the usage patterns of each type of solar cell to accommodate Thailand’s solar conditions. Each type of solar cell responds to different power distribution characteristics. However, the load power should therefore be taken into account when determining which solar cell type to utilize.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132671169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper investigates the impact of dc bias on power transformer variables, focusing on losses and thermal distribution in laminated core and copper windings of the power transformer. The findings of these studies provide a guide for accurately determining the insulation requirements that can effectively sustain the consequences of dc bias. This paper presents a three-dimensional modelling technique and analyses the power transformer using constructional details and material properties. The finite element method is used to analyze three-phase 500KVA dry type, natural air-cooled power transformer with Ansys Maxwell software. The three-dimensional temperature distribution in the transformer parts is obtained using Ansys mechanical software. Thermal analysis is performed for various levels of excitation with varying DC bias, and the effects of the same are investigated. The main contribution of this study is a simple and efficient approach for investigating the thermal impacts and finding the correlations in a dc biased power transformer. Accurate detection of temperature distribution during the design stage is very important as its insulation requirement is directly determined by thermal constraints, allowing life span and health of the transformer to be optimized.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116628930","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Temperature control is an important aspect of these devices, as it impacts the humidification system and patient comfort. Therefore, it is necessary to have a robust and accurate temperature control system in HFNC humidification systems. This paper discusses the identification and control of an HFNC humidification system’s temperature using MATLAB software. The system model is created using input-output data and a PID controller is generated. The PID Tuner app in MATLAB can be used to automatically tune the PID parameters, and the step response plot can be used to fine-tune the parameters graphically. The performance of the PID algorithm was evaluated through simulations in MATLAB and an Arduino-based real model. The results showed that the designed PID controller had good performance and precision. In conclusion, the designed PID controller, developed through the system identification process, was successfully implemented in the HFNC humidification system we developed.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132775119","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On each day and event, the solar irradiance can be varied due to the change in weather. The solar irradiance clustering can evaluate the appropriate generation pattern of a solar photovoltaic system for analyzing daily energy generation. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel clustering method to evaluate the appropriate cluster of solar irradiance generation by utilizing the Harmonic Extreme Learning Machine model to improve the performance of solar irradiance analysis and management. The experimental results showed that the Harmonic Extreme Learning Machine model had given the minimum total sum of distances between the centroid cluster and the represented data. A technique based on the application of the Riccati equation, the parameters of which depend on the state of the object, is one of the promising and quickly emerging approaches for creating nonlinear regulators. Inconsistent universal algorithms for solving the Riccati equation, whose parameters also rely on the state, as well as the ambiguity of representing a nonlinear system in the form of a linear structural system with state-dependent parameters, lead to a variety of potential inferior solutions. Controlling the motion of a multi-link manipulator, on the other hand, has proven to be a difficult task, especially when a flexible structure is used. This is due to the complexity of their structures, which causes excessive vibration, resulting in system failure. The goal of this research is to eliminate excessive vibrations produced in order to maintain its efficiency and extend the life of the system. This can be accomplished by developing an intelligent controller for a double-link flexible robotics manipulator (DLFRM) using a proportional integral derivative (PID) controller approach and bacterial foraging optimization algorithm (BFOA) to tune the PID control parameters. BFOA is a new swarm intelligence optimization algorithm based on E. Coli’s foraging behavior. The BFOA is utilised to tune the PID controller parameters via simulation to achieve the optimum angle for both links present in the DLFRM using MATLAB/Simulink software. Not only that, the BFOA performance is analyzed and compared with conventional method (Ziegler-Nichols) in optimizing the PID controller used to control the hub angle of the manipulator. It is noticed that the PID controller tuned by BFOA exhibited reduced settling time, overshoot, raising time, and steady state error for both hub angles of the manipulator at link 1 and link 2. Then, the system robustness was tested using different types of sinusoidal disturbance and its durability is demonstrated by the fact that it can effectively reduce vibration when the drawback is moved under different disturbances.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"102 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115767385","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
