Di̇nç, Hüsameddin Ekinci","doi":"10.17569/tojqi.694629","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17569/tojqi.694629","url":null,"abstract":"The current research aims to use the ‘draw-write-tell’ method to explore middle school students’ conceptions of the social studies course. The study group of this qualitative research consists of 200 middle school students attending public middle schools in the city center of Gaziantep. The study was carried out in three stages: In the first stage, to determine the participants’ overall conceptions of the social studies course, they were asked to draw the first five things that the course evoked in them. In the second stage, the participants were asked to pick one drawing among five, which they most identified with the social studies course, and write down why they picked that drawing. In the third stage, in-depth unstructured interviews were conducted with eight volunteering students. Results of the content analysis showed that students’ overall conceptions of the social studies course could be gathered under 10 themes. Also, drawings related to human geography and history were identified most with the social studies course. Besides, the reasons behind students’ conceptions of the social studies course were gathered under 12 themes. Bu duruma paralel olarak yapilan calismada, uygulamalari gerceklestiren ogretmen ve ogrencilerin etkilesimli e-kitaba iliskin goruslerinin alinmasi amaclanmistir. Durum calismasina uygun olarak gerceklestirilen bu arastirma, Bursa ilindeki uc farkli ortaokulda gorev yapan uc ogretmen ve onlarin siniflarinda ogrenim goren 71 ogrenci ile surdurulmustur. Calismada HTML formatinda hazirlanan etkilesimli e-kitap arastirmaci tarfindan gelistirilmistir. Veri toplama araci olarak ogrenci gorus formu, ogrenci gorusme formu ve ogretmen gorusme formu kullanilmistir. Elde edilen veriler icerik ve betimsel analize uygun olarak analiz edilmistir. Ogretmenlerden elde edilen bulgularda; etkilesimli e-kitabin ogretmenler tarafindan begenildigi, faydali bulundugu anlasilmistir. Bu durumun temel nedeninin; etkilesimli e-kitabin duzenli, sistemli ve kazanimlara paralel olarak asamali bir sistem seklinde hazirlanmasindan kaynaklandigi dusunulmektedir. Bununla birlikte yapilan calismada ogrencilerin etkilesimli e-kitabi begendikleri ve guzel bulduklar ifade etmislerdir. Ogrencilerin cizimleri, cizimlerle ilgili gorusmeler ve acik uclu sorulara verilen yanitlar birlikte degerlendirilmistir. Veriler MAXQDA 2018 yazilimi ile analiz edilmistir. Calisma, nitel arastirma yontemlerinden fenomenolojik arastirma yontemi ile desenlenmis ve tumevarim yontemi ile analiz edilmistir. Veriler, hosgorulu ve ayrimci iliskiler olarak iki ana temada tasvir edilmistir. Bu temalarda cinsiyet ve yas acisindan farkliliklar incelenmistir. Calismanin bulgularina gore, kiz cocuklarin Fransiz akranlarini daha cok arkadas edindikleri gorulmustur. Akranlariyla olan dostluklar 9 yasindan 10-12 yas araligina dogru yukseldi. Ancak bu oran 13-15 yaslarinda azalmistir. Erkek cocuklar, kiz cocuklara nazaran, Fransiz akranlari tarafindan ayrimci tutum ve davranislara daha cok maruz kaldiklarini ifade etmislerdir. Algilanan irksal / etnik dislanmada 9 yasindan 10-12 yas araligina dogru bir artis olmus; bu artis 13-15 yas araliginda azalmistir. Bu amacla arastirma yontemi olarak uc farkli egitim programinda uygulanmis coklu durum calismasi secilmistir. Bu durum calismalari sirasiyla mufredata entegre (Durum 1), mufredat disi (Durum 2) ve okul sonrasi (Durum 3) seklinde egitim programlarinda uygulanmistir. Alanyazindaki calismalardan faydalanilarak uyarlanan memnuniyet olcegi ile ogrencilerin memnuniyet duzeyi olculerken, ogrenci ve ogretmenler ile yapilan yari yapilandirilmis gorusmeler ile memnuniyete etki eden faktorler ortaya cikarilmistir. Nicel verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz yontemleri kullanilmis olup Durum 1 (M = 4.35), Durum-3 (M = 4.28) ve Durum-2’nin (M = 3.99) ogrencileri sirasiyla, bu ortamlarda verilen programlama dersinden en cok memnun olan ogrenciler olarak belirlenmistir. Nitel verilerin tekli durum analizi sonuclari memnuniyeti artiran ve azaltan faktorleri ortaya cikarmistir. Gorevlerin hikayesi disinda, grup calismasi, obje olusturma, gorevlerin olmasi, gorev disi aktiviteler, 3B ortam ve ortamda gezinme her uc durum calismasinda da degisken oranlarda memnuniyeti artiran faktorler olarak bulunmustur. Teknik problemler, yalniz calisma, gorevlerin zorlugu ve avatar ile ilgili problemler her uc durum calismasinin ogrencileri tarafindan memnuniyeti azaltan faktorler olarak ortaya cikmistir. Bu calismanin amaci zihin yetersizligi olan genc yetiskinlerin (ZYOGY) yetiskinlige ve calisma yasamina hazirlanmalarindaki bagimsiz yasam gereksinimlerini belirlemektir. Arastirma, bu amaci gerceklestirmek uzere nitel arastirma yontemlerinden fenomenolojik desen ile yurutulmustur. Calismaya amacli orneklemeyle 10 ZYOGY, 10 ebeveyn, 10 isveren ve 10 ogretmen olmak uzere toplam 40 kisi katilmistir. Isveren, ogretmen ve ebeveynlerden olusan 30 kisiyle yari yapilandirilmis gorusmeler yapilmis, 10 ZYOGY ise gozlenerek beceri kontrol listesi araciligiyla beceri ve davranislari degerlendirilmistir. Gerceklestirilen yari yapilandirilmis gorusmelerden elde edilen veriler tumevarim analiziyle, kontrol listesinden elde edilen veriler betimsel analizle analiz edilmistir. Arastirma bulgulari ZYOGY’lerin yetiskinlige ve calisma yasamina hazirlanmada bagimsiz yasam becerilerinde gucluk yasadiklari bu nedenle okul sonrasinda bir bagimsiz yasam egitimine gereksinim oldugunu gostermistir. Fen ogretmen adaylarinin bilimsel arastirmaya yonelik goruslerinin arastirilmasi icin Lederman ve Lederman, Lederman, Bartos, Bartel, Meyer ve Schwartz (2014) tarafindan gelistirilen Views About Scientific Inquiry Qustionnaire- VASI kullanilmistir. Tarama modelinde olan bu arastirmada nitel ve nicel veri analizi yapilmistir. Ayrica olcekte yer alan acik uclu sorular sorularak, secilen ogretmen adaylariyla gorusmeler gerceklestirilmistir. Calismadan elde edilen bulgular dogrultusunda fen ogretmen adaylarinin, bilimsel arastirmalarin yapilisina ve deney-gozlemin bilimsel arastirmalardaki yerine iliskin olan bilimsel arastirmanin birinci boyutuna ve bilimsel arastirmalarin belli bir yontemi ve basamaginin olmadigina iliskin olan ikinci boyutuna yonelik verdikleri cevaplarda ulke degiskenine gore Tayvan’daki fen ogretmen adaylari lehine anlamli bir farkliligin oldugu ortaya konmustur. Ayrica her iki ulkedeki fen ogretmen adaylarinin bilimsel arastirmaya yonelik goruslerinin “Calismanin sonucu, toplanan verilerle tutarli olmalidir” boyutunda “bilimsel” gorus duzeyinde toplandigi gorulmustur. Bunun yaninda Turkiye’deki ogretmen adaylarinin “Bilimsel arastirmalar her zaman bir problemle baslar” boyutunda; Tayvan’daki ogretmen adaylarinin ise “veriler, kanitlarla ayni degildir” boyutlarinda cogunlukla “yetersiz” gorus duzeyinde goruse sahip olduklari belirlenmistir. However, this sector has suffered a lot due to unorganized market, Lack of skilled workers, new technology and absence of brand image. So, in order to improve the production and branding of handicraft Geographical Indication is needed. Geographical Indication (GI) identifies a goods/product as originating in a particular region, where a particular quality of the good is attributable to its place of origin. GI will help West Bengal producers differentiate the uniqueness of the products from similar competing products, establish brand and goodwill of local products, make premium price for such products, and increase sales/export by protecting reputation of the products. The main objective of this research study is that importance of geographical Indication on the traditional handicraft products in West Bengal and also to provide awareness among the people on the importance of it in social upliftment for rural development.
