Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman masyarakat mengenai kriteria kerusakan bangunan sederhana dan mengidentifikasi kategori kerusakan bangunan rumah tinggal sederhana di Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan Propinsi Maluku Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yaitu dengan menggambarkan keadaaan dari obyek/subyek penelitian. Obyek penelitian ini adalah Desa Liboba Hijrah dan Desa Yomen Kec. Kepulauan Joronga serta Desa Sekely Kec. Gane Barat Selatan. Subyek Penelitian ini adalah masyarakat dan rumah yang yang terkena dampak gempa bumi. Jumlah sampel yaitu 100 responden yang terdiri 50 orang masyarakat dan 50 unit rumah. Teknik pengambilan data adalah wawancara dan kuesioner lalu di analisis dengan metode analisis data kuantitatif. Kabupaten Halmahera Barat memiliki peran penting dalam menggerakkan roda ekonomi masyarakat, dengan meningkatnya mobilitas fisik dan sosial masyarakat. Berdasarkan pengamatan awal di kabupaten Halmahera Barat, penulis menemukan beberapa kondisi jalan rusak dengan berbagai jenis kerusakan. Dari kerusakan yang ditemukan di awal pengamatan, jenis dan tingkat kerusakan yang diamati dapat diidentifikasi dengan metode penelitian Pavement Condition Index (PCI). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kerusakan pada jalan Sidangoli-Jailolo di kabupaten Halmahera Barat dan untuk mendapatkan informasi prioritas untuk penanganan kerusakan jalan berdasarkan metode PCI.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei dan studi literatur, dimana penulis melakukan survei terhadap kondisi kerusakan jalan di sepanjang Sidangoli-Jailolo dan melakukan studi literatur untuk menjawab masalah yang ada menggunakan metode PCI.Hasil penelitian pada ruas jalan Sidangoli - Jailolo didasarkan pada metode PCI, dengan persentase kerusakan pada jenis kerusakan kulit buaya 7,67%, tenggelam 9,37%, retakan tepi 3,63%, jalur / bahu turun 1,13% retakan memanjang / melintang 1,39%, tambalan digali 0,03%, agregat licin 4,34%, Lubang 9,38%, retakan selip 0,40%, pengembangan rata atau 0,25%, Pelapukan dan butiran longgar 1,95%. Di Kabupaten Halmahera Timur, dimana Kabupaten ini adalah merupakan salah satu daerah yang memiliki banyak sungai besar maupun kecil. Hal ini merupakan potensi energi listrik yang bagus untuk pembangunan di daerah pedesahan, seperti di Desa Binagara Kecamatan Wasile Kabupaten Halmahera Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode distribusi frekuensi dan di uji menggunakan uji probabilitas untuk menghitung curah hujan. Metode pelampung untuk menghitung debit sungai. Metode rasional, metode Kirpich, dan metode Mononobe untuk menghitung debit banjir. Metode Flow Characteristic untuk menghitung debit andalan dan metode Terzaghi untuk menghitung kapasitas daya dukung tanah. Dari hasil penelitian maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan debit sungai yang tersedia pada PLTMH desa Binagara Qsungai = 0,66 m3/det dengan debit andalan Qandalan = 0,64 m3/det dan tinggi jatuh efektif (Head) H= 8 meter dengan besar daya yang dibangkitkan Pnet = 16,23 kW. Konstruksi sipil yang didesain adalah Bendung/Dam dengan Be = 9,14 m, H = 1,00 m dan Tinggi Muka air banjir di udik (He) = 5,00 m, untuk dimensi lubang intake adalah b = 2 m dan a = 1,20 m. Desain saluran pengendap dengan volume lumpur sebesar 698.36 m3 periode pengurasan 7 hari, dimensi saluran L = 34 m dan B = 4 m. Desain diameter pipa pesat (Penstock) adalah d = 0,8 m dengan kecepatan 4,59 m3/det. Untuk desain pondasi telapak kapasitas dukung ultimit tanah (qu) = 10,81 kg/m2 dan faktor keamanan (qa) 3,60 kg/m2. Imran, Mufti Amir Sultan","doi":"10.3387/JOSAE.V2I2.1405","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3387/JOSAE.V2I2.1405","url":null,"abstract":"PLTU Tidore adalah pembangkit listrik yang berbahan bakar batu bara berkalori rendah untuk melayani kebutuhan listrik masyarakat khususnya di Kota Ternate dan Tidore. Dampak penggunaan batu bara menghasilkan limbah berupa fly ash dan bottom ash. Pada penelitian ini dicoba untuk menggunakan bahan bottom ash sebagai bahan pengganti parsial terhadap agregat pasir pada pembuatan paving block dan meneliti klas mutu yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sifat fisik bahan bottom ash memiliki karakter yang lebih ringan dari pasir dan tingkat penyerapan diatas 20% yang 10 kali lebih banyak dari standar bahan untuk agregat normal. Sementara senyawa kimia dominan penyusun bottom ash memiliki kemiripan komposisi dengan bahan pasir dan juga bahan semen sehingga bahan bottom ash tidak memberikan pengaruh buruk terhadap reaksi semen saat pengadukan. Hasil pengujian kuat tekan sampel mortar paving block dengan variasi pengempaan 10 kN dan 40 kN diperoleh laju penurunan kemampuan tekan mortar berkisar antara 0,8 MPa hingga 5,3 MPa dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 2,1 MPa setiap penggantian 10% bahan pasir dengan bottom ash. Begitu pula dengan tingkat penyerapan paving block yang dihasilkan mengalami peningkatan seiring dengan penambahan jumlah bottom ash pada pembuatan paving block. Where sago trees are plants that grow a lot in eastern Indonesia including Maluku, North Maluku and Papua. Made from natural materials, coupled with an opening arrangement that adapts to the local climate makes the traditional house \"fala gaba-gaba\" as one of the energy-efficient buildings. The purpose of this study is to describe the construction of a traditional house \"fala gaba-gaba\" from the foundation, body and roof of the building associated with Energy Saving Buildings. Specifically, it attempts to investigate the contribution of pesticides applicators to overall mishandling of pesticides. Data for this work were collected in 2018 from four locations of Bhaktapur. Primary data were collected from 123 vegetable farmers and direct observation of 42 vegetable farms based in the selected zones using questionnaire. Discussions with experts and pilot study with farmers were conducted to improve the questionnaire and provide factual data. Frequency distributions, Means, Chi-square tests were utilised for data analysis. The results of the study show that vegetable farmers were applying pesticides, without caring much about the others, in vegetable production. They frequently depended upon local sellers and neighbours to choose the best pesticide to apply. On average, pesticide handling practices at any point seemed inappropriate. Factors that influence farmers' handling practices include education, training and practical consciousness. The study indicated that vegetable farm women have higher level of exposure of pesticide risking a long term health impacts. The Outbreak of disease in paddy plant could cause severe losses in yield leading to insecurity of food security. To achieve automatic diagnosis of paddy disease this research aims to develop a system for detection of Blast disease in paddy leaf. The disease identification is achieved through Image Processing technique and Back Propagation Neural Network. Features of images are extracted through binning pixels into eight Attribute Bins. Training of Neural Network is achieved by feed forwarding these features to neural network. The error generated is back propagated in order to adjust the weights of neural network. Images of the diseased leaves are identified with accuracy. Thus fast and accurate diagnosis of paddy disease could timely control outbreak leading the path towards ensuring food security. Sediments are integrated into the accretionary prism from the foreland Indo-Gangetic plain, undergo a tectonic cycle within it, and eventually are eroded. The structural sketch map unveils westward-plunging arcuate structures on the leading location of the Outer Belt. A balanced cross-section has been constructed across the Sub-Himalayan Hills of the Kohalpur-Surkhet region of mid-western Nepal in order to determine the structural geometry of the region and to calculate tectonic shortening. The mid-western Nepal Sub-Himalaya has an emergent splay fan geometry with no major prevailing thrust contains the Main Boundary Thrust (MBT), the Bheri Thrust, the Babai Thrust and the Main frontal Thrust (MFT) which are all imbricate of the main decollment which ramp up-section through the 5 km thick tectonic sedimentary prism.
