A total of 324 banking customers as respondents completed the questionnaire. Pearson Correlation analysis indicated that there exists a direct positive effect of service quality and customer satisfaction on corporate image. Multiple Linear Regression highlighted customer satisfaction as a stronger predictor of corporate image compared to service quality in the banking sector. One of the key remedies to reverse or at least stop this trend points towards socially responsible consumption behavior. The present study has been undertaken with an objective to study the relationship between demographics and socially responsible consumption behavior. It has been found that there exists an association between age, gender and education with socially responsible consumption behavior. The final findings can be of interest to marketers and policy makers.
