The bounded perturbation resilience of the method is investigated in Hilbert spaces. Under mild conditions, we prove that our algorithms strongly converge to a solution of the split variational inclusion problem, which is also the unique solution of some variational inequality problem. Furthermore, we show the convergence and effectiveness of the algorithms via two numerical examples. Our results extend and improve the related results in the literature.","PeriodicalId":362333,"journal":{"name":"Applied Set-Valued Analysis and Optimization","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130016044","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we focus on an inverse problem of parameter identification in vector variational and vector quasi-variational inequalities. Especially, we develop an abstract regularization approach that permits a stable identification of the parameters in the considered variational problems. We give existence results for the regularized output least-square-based optimization problem and provide an application of our results to the Markowitz portfolio problem.","PeriodicalId":362333,"journal":{"name":"Applied Set-Valued Analysis and Optimization","volume":"248 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121296375","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In one of our recent papers, we considered a complete metric space of nonexpansive mappings taking a bounded and closed subset of a complete hyperbolic space into the space so that the boundary of this subset is mapped back into the subset itself. Using the Baire category approach, we proved that most of these mappings possess a unique fixed point which attracts all their iterates. In the present paper, we improve upon this result by showing that the complement of the set of mappings which have a fixed point is not only of the first Baire category, but also is σ -porous.","PeriodicalId":362333,"journal":{"name":"Applied Set-Valued Analysis and Optimization","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126295620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose a new modified logarithmic-quadratic proximal method for solving the nonlinear complementarity problem. An easily measurable error term is proposed with further relaxed error bound and a new step length is employed to reach substantial progress in each iteration. Preliminary numerical experiments are included to illustrate the advantage and efficiency of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":362333,"journal":{"name":"Applied Set-Valued Analysis and Optimization","volume":"150 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132465114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
