Alves","doi":"10.4000/CRITICON.5006","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4000/CRITICON.5006","url":null,"abstract":"Compose en espagnol par un poete portugais, le poeme epique Felicissima Victoria (1575-1578) de Jeronimo Corte-Real a generalement ete lu, par les rares lecteurs qui se sont interesses a ce texte dans les dernieres annees, comme un eloge direct et sans ambiguite de l’Empire espagnol de Philippe II au moment de son apogee (la bataille de Lepante). Tous les details textuels et contextuels semblent l’attester. Dans cet article nous introduisons un nouvel element qui corrobore cette vision dominante : la preuve d’une precoce ―dans le contexte iberique― recherche de l’unite poematique de la trame, une harmonie et une plenitude neo-classique ou sont engages les hommes et les dieux. Nous voulons montrer aussi que la Felicissima Victoria developpe d’autres formes de representation ou le doute et l’angoisse habitent et debordent les heros et leurs actions. Temoins, les discours heroiques, les songes et les visions, les voix anonymes, et le discours sarcastique d’un general musulman qui reste sans reponse. L’aspect le plus troublant de ces plans multiples est la maniere dont ils sont agences dans le cadre d’une unite narrative ou ils cessent d’etre des episodes isoles ou detaches temporellement. L’etude suggere donc que l’unite et la cloture des recits, si triomphants soient-ils, peuvent etre en soi instables, troublees, sans qu’il soit necessaire d’en referer a une sorte de deambulation paratactique. Les vainqueurs epiques peuvent devenir des vaincus.","PeriodicalId":36232,"journal":{"name":"Criticon","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2018-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44063827","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Des lors, sur la base de quelques lecons significatives, on peut affirmer clairement que le texte imprime ne correspond que tres peu, voire ne correspond pas du tout, a la volonte de l’auteur. Le passage du Filodemo auquel se refere cet article en particulier, porte sur un fait historique deja notifie par D.a Carolina Michaelis: la condamnation d’une femme, a Goa, en 1546, a la peine du sac (poena cullei). Le manuscrit rapporte fidelement l’evenement dans tous ses details ―en incluant les animaux utilises pour l’execution de la sentence―, mais le responsable de la version imprimee fait une erreur grossiere en faisant etat d’une legende, qui, dans ce cas precis, n’a rien a voir avec le contexte.","PeriodicalId":36232,"journal":{"name":"Criticon","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2018-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47222312","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Le cas du sonnet XVII montre l’existence de problemes textuels que les appareils des editions critiques ont ignores totalement jusqu’aujourd’hui, meme dans les passages qui sont utiles pour definir les relations que tissent entre eux les temoignages. Abordant un autre aspect du probleme, concretement le sonnet XXIX, on met ici en evidence l’importance de la bibliographie pour l’etude de la tradition imprimee, ―canonique et extra-canonique― (a savoir le pliego suelto de 1536 et l’edition «clandestine» de Lisbonne de 1543).","PeriodicalId":36232,"journal":{"name":"Criticon","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2018-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48921086","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
