However, beforea structured network can be constructed, nodes has to be topologicallysorted. One of the common form of topological sortingis linearization where nodes are arranged in a linear order withrespect to its identifiers. Linearization is not a difficult task,however, to keep nodes in a correct state where transient faultsexist can be daunting. In this paper, we introduce an algorithmto improve the performance of an overlay network by ensuringphysical proximity and the introduction of supernodes (nodesthat are homogeneous to other nodes but remain persistent).We construct a linear network from a random distributionof nodes in a 2-D geographical space and run simulations totest our algorithm. The synchronous phase inverter is used in the microgrid system to connect the renewable energy sources of minimum phase error. For a high-efficiency power transmission and distribution system, a three-phase inverter is used. The electronic switches of the inverter are controlled by a controller circuit which can be a two-level pulse width modulation (PWM), phase lock loop (PLL) controller, etc. A fixed reference DC voltage and current generators are used for a stable input-output voltage and current to reduce the higher harmonic distortions. An LC lowpass filter has been designed and simulated for the input and output of the system by using MATLAB2014a. More in detail, the wireless network allows multiple stations to interact with each other on a same medium. Therefore, if two or more stations transmit at the same time then the collision happens. To avoid or reduce the probability of collision, the Backoff mechanism takes the responsibility by placing the stations in the waiting queue before transmission. Hence, Backoff mechanism is a very critical element and researchers as well as the manufactures are always looking for more efficient Backoff mechanism for WLAN. In particular, it will be more critical while the number of node increases and becomes large network, referred to as scalable network. Scalability is a critical requirement if we want the networking technologies to reach their full potential. In this paper, we investigate this issue by exploiting the existing CSMA/CA-Based MAC protocols in comparatively large networks. The simulation results revile some important issues and challenges in order to provide MAC solutions for scalable networks. Most of the audio files were recorded in MP3 format due to its popularity, but lossless audio coding has gained much interest due to its high quality. The drawback of the lossless audio coding is the higher bitrate requirement. In this paper, the characteristics of the Quranic recitation of all surahs from various Reciters were evaluated. Results show that on average the voiced to unvoiced speech ratio is 21.39 for Quranic recitation, while the English audiobook on average has ratio of 7.49. It means that the voiced speech is more dominant compared to unvoiced speech in Quranic recitation. In this sector, legitimate users are more powerful attackers. The remote systems working with password and smart card ensures authorised access. Smart card based remote user authentication schemes have been adopted due to their low computation cost and portability. In 2012, Wen and Li proposed an improved dynamic ID based remote user authentication with key agreement scheme. They stated that their scheme provides protection against impersonation attack and preserves secret information. In this paper, we unveil the drawbacks of Wen and Li's scheme. Also we show that their scheme does not detect wrong password quickly, making it vulnerable to insider and smart card stolen attack. Further the scheme provides no protection for forward secrecy. Multicast network error transmission can critically degrade the perceived visual quality. This paper presents a novel no-reference video quality estimation using spatial and temporal perceptual activity over multicast IEEE 802.11n. This allows real-time monitoring and detection of visual degradations caused by network error transmission. The spatial and temporal perceptual activity features are extracted from each frame which subjected to network error transmission conditions. These features are implemented in the proposed method to produce video quality estimation and compared against the performance of full-reference objective video quality metrics. It uses laser as a medium of transmission between two transceivers. In tropical climate, haze is one of the weather phenomenons which reduce the visibility. Low visibility increases atmospheric attenuation and reduce the availability of optical signals for free space optics (FSO) links. In this paper, the effect of atmospheric attenuation due to haze on free space optical link in tropical climate has been demonstrated. The analysis based on one year measured visibility data in Malaysia. Predicted attenuation varies with different wavelengths. Thus, two wavelengths were considered. The predicted atmospheric attenuation was compared across the two wavelengths. Measured visibility data and predicted attenuation were used to estimate the link availability of free space optical links. From the results higher wavelength has lower attenuation compare with lower wavelength. The efficient way to harvest the energy from the system mostly depends on its interfacing circuitry. It is necessary to characterize and optimize the interfacing circuit for maximizing the output power. The circuit parameters - duty cycle, switching frequency, inductance and load resistance have been characterized and optimized to improve the efficiency of the harvesting system. The circuit has been simulated using PSpice (V16.5) electronic circuit simulation software. The input voltage of the circuit of the piezoelectric transducer is 0.54V AC in amplitude and the rated output voltage has been obtained as 3.3V. The lexical features of malware URL are first identified from existing blacklisted malware URLs through manual examination. Feature identification is followed by studying the prevalence of these features on newly collected malware URLs through empirical analysis. Our empirical analysis revealed that attackers follow the same pattern in crafting malware URL. To evaluate the performance and effectiveness of these features, we applied a Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification algorithm on a dataset comprising of benign and malware URLs. The main idea of decoding LRPC codes is based on calculations of vector spaces over a finite field F(q). This family of codes can be seen as the equivalent of classical LDPC codes for the rank metric. We compare the performance of this code with the Reed-Solomon Code (RS) through a PLC channel. We propose to replace the Reed-Solomon code with a kind of rank metric code (LRPC code) that can correct a whole line or row of a code word, which is arranged in a matrix. Using OFDM modulation, the columns of code matrix contain the OFDM symbols.
