To detect communities in social networks have earned popularity in past few years. We have concentrated on swarm intelligence based community detection in real world networks elaborated in this paper. In computational field, there are several algorithms so far suggested to detect communities in social networks. But most of the existing algorithms take the high running time and less efficient. So, there is a need of an efficient community detection algorithm. Here, a swarm intelligence based proposed method has been elucidated to detect the communities in social networks. We have evaluated algorithm on two measures namely accuracy and Normalized Mutual Information and found that the proposed approach provides efficient results than the Girvan-Newman algorithm. Our proposed method achieves highest accuracy for College Football Network as 84% and performs better in other networks too. Also, 86% NMI score as the highest one is obtained by our proposed method for College Football Network.","PeriodicalId":360351,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Speech Technology (AIST)","volume":"237 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121632384","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Diabetic foot ulcer is a complication often associated with this disease. Diabetes foot ulcer is also commonly known as diabetes foot pain. It is a type of foot damage medical condition that progresses from diabetes mellitus. According to scientific data, almost 15% of diabetes patients may develop diabetes foot ulcer in their lifetime [1]. A foot ulcer is an open wound that commonly found under the feet, it can be a shallow open wound on the surface of the skin (less severe) or it can be a deep wound which exposes bones, tendons and joints [2]. However, if early prevention is carried out, diabetes patients might be able to avoid problems from diabetes foot ulcer. Thus, in this study, a wearable shoe prototype for early detection of foot ulcers is proposed to be used in home. The developed device will be associated with temperature sensor, vibration motor and pressure sensor. This device enables diabetes patients to carry out evaluation on their foot in daily life. With this device, early symptoms of foot ulcer can be detected and the seriousness of foot ulcer can be monitored.","PeriodicalId":360351,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Speech Technology (AIST)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126375409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Human eyes consist of color-delicate cells that are responsible for providing the information required by the brain to produce the ‘discerned’ color in an individual’s visible spectrum. These cells that are sensitive to different colors respond differently to various light wavelengths. The cells can’t be rectified in any way. This suggests color blindness cannot be cured. The primary focus of this research is on the following types of color deficiencies including complete color-blindness and dichromatic color-blindness—red-green, blue-yellow. In this paper, the authors use Image-Processing-Techniques (IPT) to make Ishihara-Test-Images (a test to identify partial and total color deficiency) perceptible to people with color-vision difficulties. The use of advanced image processing techniques (IPT) and mathematical operations on the pixels of an image can solve vision defects. To demonstrate this, a convolutional neural network (CNN) was designed and trained on the MNIST dataset to enhance color perception for individuals with achromatopsia.","PeriodicalId":360351,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Speech Technology (AIST)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132219918","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Regression testing is a kind of software testing that makes sure an application continues to work as intended even after upgrades, modifications, or improvements to the code. Regression testing evaluates revised software to ensure that the program's altered sections do not cause unforeseen obstacles. When there is a continual transition in the program, this test is critical. This paper discusses regression testing significance, approaches, and the latest tools. As we all know, the most crucial phase of the life cycle of a software development process is the maintenance phase. The core team of developers is responsible for maintaining the product that they provide to their clients during this phase only. Regression tests are needed after the software has been revised. This paper includes a lot of accessible regression testing approaches as well as their categories. The concept of selecting test cases, minimizing test cases, and then prioritizing the same by executing regression testing on them is included in regression testing methodologies and classifications. The emergence of new technology has also technically allowed the education sector to expand. The paper also discusses the significance of regression testing and its use in different environments.","PeriodicalId":360351,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Speech Technology (AIST)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130958642","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To solve the current education crisis, universities and colleges must update their English curricula to reflect the demands of their students. Strengthening Internet + era awareness and reconstructing Internet + era resource advantages and technology advantages are both necessary given the Internet + era's characteristics. The current English teaching mode in colleges and universities has resulted in a number of positive changes, including a revitalization of college English instruction, the establishment of college English instruction that is better suited for the new era, and a significant increase in the efficiency with which college English instruction is carried out. The evaluation of English teachers in higher education classrooms is a hot topic right now. As a first step, it's important to note that both teachers and students care deeply about students' performance on the mandatory English examination. The rapid growth of distance network teaching using computers as its backbone has made it possible to present a wealth of video and audio teaching resources to students via the internet; this has helped to broaden the scope of online education and, in turn, advance the goals of digitalization, lifelong learning, and other reforms in the field of education. To begin, this article provides a concise summary of the issues of low efficacy, and inconsistent competence, as well as the discordant relationship between evaluation and instruction in contemporary college English.","PeriodicalId":360351,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Speech Technology (AIST)","volume":"331 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133465067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Manual DR diagnosis is a tedious and complex task; thus, an automated approach is needed to cater to the need of people across the world. A lot of automated approaches have been developed in the recent past for DR classification. Most of these approaches are computationally expensive and involve a lot of pre-processing techniques or transfer learning-based algorithms. The present work focuses on developing a computationally-effective approach with high performance for DR classification. The present work proposes a novel lightweight convolutional neural network (CNN) based DR binary classification model using shortcut connections to reuse the features of previous convolution layers. The proposed model is computationally effective and requires 1.137M (Million) parameters, which is much less than the existing approaches. The experimental study is executed on the APTOS dataset. The parametric evaluation of the proposed model is also analysed with several transfer learning-based approaches. The model obtained 0.9754 (classification accuracy and sensitivity), 0.9666 (specificity), 0.9755 (precision), 0.9747 (F-1 score), 0.97 (AUC), and 0.9509 (kappa score) with APTOS. The cross-dataset validation has been performed on the IDRiD dataset. The proposed model achieved good and consistent performance on both APTOS and IDRiD datasets.
