EHRs have always been considered as the technology that has the potential to revolutionize healthcare, however, there are some drawbacks that prevents healthcare institutions from adopting them, and patients from supporting them. The main concerns are patients’ privacy and their data security, numerous data breaches of hospitals have caused the loss of patients’ EHRs. Multiple solutions have been proposed to allow the patients to take control of their EHR data access, but a secure, and private system that would allow for flawless sharing of EHRs does not exist. In this paper, a hybrid distributed system architecture that addresses these drawbacks is proposed. The proposed system utilizes the decentralized systems data storage model in a centralized system to allow for the high data reproducibility and availability of decentralized systems, while allowing for the high security by authorization and authentication of centralized systems; it also utilizes the blockchain which allows for security, patients pseudo-anonymity, patients’ EHRs usage consent requirement, and eventual consistency of data among peers, while keeping a ledger of all shared EHRs among healthcare providers.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126328517","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, a 2D/3D model of the hip joint was implemented using a Software platform (SolidWorks Program) to study the behavior of the most common compatible materials that may use to design a hip joint (Ti-6-Al4V, Al2O3, and Cr-Co-Mo alloys) under specific load applied (261.6 N) to compare the behavior of the materials based on stress, strain, and displacement response. The stability of the model was observed and verified by static test and the materials have been applied one by one, the results showed that the use of Al2O3 as a material of femoral head presents higher stress values compared to use Cr-Co-Mo or Ti-6-Al4V alloy, according to strain and displacement, Al2O3 gave the lowest values compared to the rest of the alloys.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"217 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129910294","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been intensively studied by many researchers in the last sixty years. Due to the significant economic benefit that can be achieved by optimizing the routing problems in practice, more and more attention has been given to several extensions of the VRPs that arise in real life. These extensions are called Rich Vehicle Routing Problems (RVRPs). In contrast to traditional VRP that focuses on the idealized models with unrealistic assumptions, the research of RVRPs considers those complex constraints faced in real-life planning. It provides solutions that are executable in practice. This work takes a rich VRP problem combining a capacitated vehicle routing problem with time windows (CVRPTW) and a service technician routing and scheduling problem (STRSP); for delivering various equipment based on customers’ requests and the subsequent installation by several technicians. The main goal is to reduce the overall costs of used resources and the total transportation costs of trucks/technicians. The problem was the topic of the fourth edition of the VeRoLog Solver Challenge in cooperation with the ORTEC company. The problem was solved in C++ by implementing three different Hyper-heuristic methods: SR-IE, SR-SA and SS-SA. These methods are compared, and SS-SA is found to have the best performance.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126785035","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Disturbances in the rhythm of the heart are known as cardiac arrhythmia. The faster the rate, the more severe the symptoms tend to be. A large percentage of sudden death outside the hospital is due to cardiac arrhythmias. Consequences of patients with cardiac arrhythmias while driving are fatal especially when there are passengers on board. This project aimed to detect the cardiac arrhythmia, alerts the patient, stop the car and then alert an emergency contact. This was done by placing a heart beat sensor on the earlobe to measure the heart rate. The heart rate values were recorded. When the value exceeded the normal range which is 60-100beat per minute (BPM), the buzzer was turned on to alert the patient. The patient then used a push button indicating that everything was fine, stopping further actions from happening. If the push button was not pressed for 10 seconds a list of actions would happen to stop the car and send help to the patient’s location. The heart rate of the patient was detected, and the patient was informed when their heartbeat was abnormal. The car was stopped and a message with a location of the car was sent. Therefore, a large percentage of the sudden death due to cardiac arrhythmias while driving will be reduced with this system.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130165402","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Solar energy is one of the renewable resources that can be used for the desalination purposes in order to produce portable water. This paper presents an experimental study on a solar still desalination system for potable water productivity. Due to low potable water productivity of solar still, a flat plate solar collector and paraffin wax as a phase change material (PCM); were used in this research in order to improve the daily productivity. The results showed that the accumulated productivity the modifications in Case 2, 3 and 4 improved the productivity of the conventional solar still of Case 1 (0.135) by 121%, 85% and 164%, respectively. It can be concluded that the active system (Case 2) has higher productivity improvement than the passive system (Case 3), while the combination of the passive and active systems (Case 4) has the highest performance which overcomes the limitations of the both systems.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130508102","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper evaluates the energy efficiency of UE-to-Network relay assisted D2D and the feasibility of using it to reduce energy consumed in data transmission between users. A simulation is developed to simulate a 5G network and calculate the energy consumption of transmitting and receiving data between two users under two scenarios. The first scenario simulates the conventional LTE network, where each device is directly connected to the base station. The second scenario employs D2D where one device acts as a relay to the second. The system is evaluated using different values for the simulation time, packet transmission interval and distance. Attained results show that UE-to-Network Relay Assisted D2D reduces the total energy consumption of devices by up to 40% compared to LTE, with a side effect of slightly increasing the energy consumption of the relay device. Results also show that the energy consumption of network transmission chains under D2D is up to 45% lower compared to LTE.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"48 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132656987","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two states of the virtual machine, active state if selected by cloudlet and idle state if not selected. Two types of works are applied which are existing work and proposed work. In existing work non-power aware data center, the power consumption used time-shared data center that discarded cloudlet file size to selected VMs. To performance-enhanced of power consumption in existing work applied power-aware data center in proposed work used the intelligent distribution of cloudlets that according to cloudlet file size organized cloudlet on five range to selected VMs. The result shows in existing work that five VMs selected by five cloudlets, which consumed all power of the host. VM1 difference in existing work to proposed work by selected cloudlet1 with file size 300 to consumed 1000 second in existing work and selected three cloudlets which are cloudlet1 with file size 300, cloudlet2 with file size 400 and cloudlet3 with file size 500 to consumed 2999.99 seconds in proposed work, so there is a positive relationship of VM execution time and number of cloudlets that selected by VM. That positive relationship affected positively the power consumption of VM, but at the same time, the VM2 and VM3 not selected by cloudlet stayed in the idle state near to zero power consumption and zero execution time in proposed work to the reduced power consumption of host from 7.134 KW to 6.562 kW with difference 0.572 kW. The DEM generation steps from Google Earth are based on digitizing the track paths over the selected area. Heights are then updated over the digitized paths and interpolated to create the final DEM quality of the extracted DEM is assessed utilizing vertical accuracy. We use local leveling data to validate the newly-extracted DEM. The comparison between the leveling and DEM-based heights shows an offset of 2.8 m due to the systematic errors, the rootmean-square error (RMSE) of the differences is estimated to ± 5.47 m. We employ a 4-parameter fitting model to eliminate the systematic errors, which improves the RMSE to ± 4.63 m after removing the errors. The fitting model is also used to reform and refine the error distribution between the data sets of comparisons. Numerical investigations and analyses are included and illustrated.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127808859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While zero-shot object detection is a more practical setting than traditional object detection, not many researchers have explored it, and not for specific applications like indoor robots. In this work, experiments to evaluate zero-shot object detection were conducted on images collected by a real indoor robot whereas the model was trained on a larger dataset (SUN RGB-D [1]). This work aims to evaluate this more challenging setup resulting from the difference in distribution between training and testing images.In this work, the image visual features were extracted and embedded with class labels to a common semantic space. Then, the network was trained to learn an aligning function that maps the image embedded visual features to the embedded class name, to be capable of predicting novel classes that were not presented at training time.Despite that, the currently achieved results are not very high, but this research opens the doors for further exploration of this challenging setup.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126640235","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
