This combination makes the system more powerful, helps in saving the panel and improve the output or productivity of solar power. The process of tracking makes the panel produce its maximum power all over the day because it makes the panel follow the sun where ever it goes. Voltage and power extracted from the panel will be greater than the stationary position generation depending on the type of tracking system. After finishing the work, it was discovered that: the dual-axis solar tracking system had improved the output of the stationary position by 3.3% and the single-axis solar tracking system had improved the output of the stationary position by 2.6%. The output percentage is low because we used an experimental cell which is not accurate, that is because our paper is not actually an improvement to the cell, but a system that controlling the cell. For the system, it proved its efficiency in producing more power than normal systems. And once using an accurate and capable cell, the output will be further improved, because using MATLAB, which made our system accurate in calculations, and able to analyze information in a better way.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127016757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nevertheless, developing complex behaviours for a robot needs sophisticated control strategies, which requires domain expertise with a good understanding of mathematics, and underlying physics, this will be very difficult for such complex robots. Learning algorithms like deep reinforcement learning provide a general framework for robots to learn complex behaviours directly from data. But, even for learning algorithms, dexterous manipulators represent a major challenge due to their high dimensionality and contact rich under-actuated object manipulation. To overcome these challenges, learning algorithms demand extensive data generation, which is often expensive or hard to obtain. So, the need for more efficient and more effective algorithms -that extract more useful information from the least amount of available data- has increased. This paper presents a contribution which is the development of the algorithm Model Predictive Control-Soft Actor Critic (MPC-SAC), an algorithm that combines offline learning with online planning to develop a control policy. The algorithm is benchmarked on two challenging complex dexterous manipulation tasks, against other state of the art model free reinforcement learning algorithms. Finally, it was found that the algorithm achieves asymptotic performance with state of the art data efficiency in both tasks.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122399096","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One way to manage this problem without causing any pollution is to use the pyrolysis process. The objective of this experimental study is to examine the feasibility of pyrolysis technology to convert the medical waste to syngas and liquid fuel. The medical waste was dried, and then heat treated at $350 ^{circ}mathrm{C}$ for 120 minutes. The produced liquid fuel had a density of 0.7775 g/ml, calorific value of 46.6 MJ/kg, and flashpoint of $30 ^{circ}mathrm{C}$, properties similar to diesel fuel. Moreover, the resulting syngas consist of HC, CO, and CO2, which may be employed in combustion applications. Furthermore, this study proved that the pyrolysis process can be considered as an alternative solution for solving energy and medical waste issues.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121468013","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To study the feasibility of solar energy in a region, information on the intensity of solar radiation in addition to the values of direct and diffuse radiations are required. Therefore, this paper aims to estimate the solar radiation of Khartoum city, Sudan. The diffuse, direct and total solar radiations were calculated theoretically using ASHRAE model. The results showed that the solar radiation begins to rise from morning hours reaching highest value at the noon time and gradually reduces until sunset time. The direct radiation was higher than the diffuse radiation except during morning and evening hours of the day. The results also showed that the peak value of solar radiation reaching the earth surface happens during midday very close to noon time. The peak values of total solar radiation happen during summer seasons while lower values happen during winter seasons. The maximum daily average solar irradiance was 8560$text{W/m}^{2}$ on May and minimum daily average solar irradiance was 4481/$text{W/m}^{2}$ on December. The location of Sudan is good for thermal solar application because of the average daily beam irradiance which is about 5231/$text{W/m}^{2}$.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116260555","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

FACTS is a solution to compensate the required real and reactive power necessary for distribution networks in response to large disturbances. One of the FACTS family is the SVC device which is designed to improve the power factor of the system to unity or close to unity so as to improve the power demand instead of using capacitor banks. The main purpose of this work is to investigate the impact of installing the Static VARs Compensators (SVCs) instead of traditional capacitor bank techniques at primary distribution system in Sudanese Gird. The SVCs technique provides rapid dynamic response, and smoothly adjusts the variations in the VARs output which regulate the transmission voltage. The simulation result of Sudanese Network, using NEPLAN program, shows that the voltage profile can be significantly improved by using SVC controllers compared to capacitor banks. The proposed approach is well design to select the most suitable size and location for SVC compensators to solve under/over-voltages problem and minimize power losses in distribution system for the Sudanese Network.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124736250","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
