Solusi pembuatan prototype agar cepat dan detail adalah 3D printer. Penelitian tentang 3D printer oleh peneliti sebelumnya masih terdapat kekurangan mengenai akurasi dimensi produk, serta terjadi stringing. Penelitian rancang bangun 3D printer FDM model Cartesian berbasis arduino ini dilaksanakan untuk menghasilkan rangka 3D printer yang kokoh, akurasi yang baik, dan mengatasi stringing. Metoda yang digunakan adalah rancang bangun, dimana mesin 3D printer dirancang dan dibuat, kemudian diuji performanya. Desain 3D printer memiliki dimensi 434 x 470 x 610 mm dengan area kerja 220 x 220 x 233 mm Rangka yang dibuat disimulasikan dengan FEA dengan hasil safety factor 15 ul. Kontrol 3D printer menggunakan Arduino Mega 2560  untuk pengoperasiannya. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate to increase the availability of biodiesel fuel. Biodiesel can be made from biological materials and includes renewable energy as a substitute for diesel oil. The production of biodiesel in this study jatropha and waste cooking oil as raw materials. This study aims to determine the effect of density and viscosity on the injection characteristics of jatropha-waste cooking oil biodiesel mixtures (1:4 and 4:1) on various B5-B40 fuels. Production of biodiesel from jatropha and waste cooking oil through degumming, esterification and transesterification processes. The results showed that the jatropha-waste cooking oil biodiesel mixed with 1:4 level B15 and 4:1 mixed with B10 level complied with SNI 7182-2015 biodiesel standards. A fabric filter is one of eco-friendly methods that popular application in the industry to cater and filter the flue gas that contained fly ashes, that been produced by combustion of pulverized coal inside the boiler furnace. This study focuses on analyse the reading of differential pressure and inlet temperature and determining condition of fabric filter. The evaluation of this result is to maintain the differential pressure at 14 – 18 mbar and inlet temperature at 130 0C. The performance of the fabric filter will be analysed using the monitoring report performance based on daily walkdown inspection and calibration schedule report. Based on the report results prove that the performance of fabric filter is in satisfactory condition and met with DOE requirements, which the flue gas within in 30 minutes observation only contain 150mg/m3 of ash. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh feed rate dan sudut kemiringan pin tool pada μFSW aluminium 1100. Pengelasan dilakukan dengan variasi sudut kemiringan tool 0°,1° dan 2°, dengan variasi feed rate 66, 85, dan 120 mm/menit serta kecepatan putaran pin tool 2280 rpm. Jenis sambungan yang digunakan adalah sambungan butt. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah pengujian struktur mikro dan cacat makro dengan mikroskop optik, uji kekerasan, dan uji kekuatan tarik. Hasil pengamatan makro terdapat cacat lasan pada variasi feed rate yaitu cacat incomplete fussion. Hasil pengamatan struktur mikro menunjukkan bahwa grain size pada stir zone (SZ) semua variasi tampak lebih kecil dibandingkan pada BM dan HAZ menyebabkan nilai kekerasan pada HAZ dan SZ lebih tinggi dari pada BM. Semakin bertambah kecepatan feed rate dan sudut kemiringan tool maka kekerasan daerah SZ dan kekuatan tarik semakin meningkat. Heat input yang tinggi mengakibatkan pendinginan lebih lambat sehingga butiran lebih besar dan menyebabkan penurunan nilai kekerasan. Kekerasan tertinggi pada feed rate 120 mm/menit sebesar 73,7 VHN dan kemiringan tool 2o sebesar 64,7 VHN. Kekuatan tertinggi pada feed rate 120 mm/menit sebesar 84,84 MPa dan pada sudut kemiringan 2o sebesar 111,36 MPa. Micro friction stir welding (µFSW) is friction stir welding for a maximum thickness of 1 mm. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of the feed rate and the tilt angle of the pin tool on 1100 µFSW aluminum. Welding was carried out with variations in the angle of the tool tilt of 0°, 1° and 2°, with variations in the feed rate of 66, 85, and 120 mm/min and the pin rotation speed. tools 2280rpm. The type of connection used is the butt joint. The tests carried out were testing the microstructure and macro defects with an optical microscope, hardness test, and tensile strength test. The results of the macro test showed that there were defects in the feed rate variations, namely incomplete fusion defects. The results of microstructure testing showed that the grain size of the stir zone (SZ) of all variations was smaller than that of BM and HAZ causing the hardness values of HAZ and SZ to be higher than that of BM. As the speed of the feed rate and the angle of inclination of the tool increase, the hardness of the SZ region and the tensile strength increase. High heat input results in slower cooling resulting in larger grains and causes a decrease in hardness values. The highest hardness at a feed rate of 120 mm/minute is 73.7 VHN and the slope of the tool 2o is 64.7 VHN. Industri rumah tangga masih menggunakan berbagai jenis mesin pengupas dan pemotong mandiri. Pada penelitian ini dirancang mesin pengupas, pemotong, dan penggiling dengan menggunakan pipa pengupas yang dapat disesuaikan untuk kebutuhan pengupasan atau pemotongan langsung. Metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh harga pokok produksi adalah dengan menganalisis perhitungan proses manufaktur, termasuk perhitungan komponen proses manufaktur. Hasil perencanaan dan perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa gaya pengelupasan adalah 2,49 kgf, sedangkan gaya potong adalah 1,8 kgf. Pada putaran yang direncanakan 700 rpm, daya motor menjadi 117 W, sehingga digunakan motor dengan daya 0,25 HP. Percobaan menggunakan 1 kg bawang merah, waktu pengupasan mencapai sekitar 3,5 menit dan waktu pemotongan 20 detik. Total waktu proses pemesinan diperoleh 42,17 jam, total biaya proses pemesinan diperoleh Rp1.328.141, total pembelian bahan Rp5.220.000, dan total biaya produksi mencapai Rp6.548.141. Onions undergo the processes of peeling and cutting. Home industries still use different types of independent peeling and cutting machines. In this study, a peeling, cutting, and grinding machine were designed using an adjustable peeling tube for peeling or direct cutting needs. The method used to obtain the cost of production was by analyzing the calculation of the manufacturing process, including the calculation of the component manufacturing process. The results of planning and calculating showed that the peeling force was 2.49 kgf, while the cutting force was 1.8 kgf. At a planned rotation of 700 rpm, the motor power became 117 W, so a motor with a power of 0.25 HP was used. The experiment using 1 kg of onions, the peeling time reached about 3.5 minutes and the cutting time was 20 seconds. Penelitian ini menyajikan studi tentang karakterisasi mekanik dan fisis papan partikel polimer diperkuat serat alam yaitu sabut kelapa dan tempurung kelapa. Variabel tetap dalam penelitian ini adalah jumlah fraksi matriks yaitu resin eposki. Variabel fraksi massa penyusun papan partikel dalam penelitian ini yaitu sabut kelapa:tempurung kelapa :epoksi adalah PP1 (30:0:70), PP2 (22,5:7,5:70), PP3 (15:15:70), PP4 (7,5:22,5:70), dan PP5 (0:30:70). Papan partikel diuji kelenturannya menggunakan mesin Universal Testing Machine mengacu pada ASTM D 7-90-03, ketangguhan impak sampel menggunakan mesin Impact Tester mengacu pada ASTM D 6110. Sampel diuji kerapatan dan pengembangan tebalnya mengacu SNI 03-2105-2006. Hasil pengujian sampel menunjukkan nilai kerapatan optimum pada sampel PP3 yaitu sebesar 1,05 g/cm3 dengan sampel diperkuat sabut kelapa dan tempurung kelapa. Hasil pengujian nilai uji ketangguhan impak optimum pada sampel PP5 yaitu sebesar 3.20 J/cm2 dan hasil pengujian nilai uji kuat lentur optimum pada sampel PP5 yaitu 382,29 Kgf/cm2 dengan sampel diperkuat tempurung kelapa. Natural fiber particle board (biocomposite) can be used as an alternative to conventional materials because it is environmentally friendly, a renewable source and is naturally biodegradable. This research presents a study on the mechanical and physical characterization of natural fiber reinforced polymer particle board, namely coconut coir and coconut shell. The fixed variable in this study was the number of matrix fractions, namely epoch resin. The variable mass fraction of the particle board in this study was coconut coir:coconut shell:epoxy was PP1 (30:0:70), PP2 (22,5:7,5:70), PP3 (15:15:70), PP4 (7,5:22,5:70), and PP5 (0:30:70). Particle board was tested for flexibility using the Universal Testing Machine referring to ASTM D 7-90-03, the impact toughness of the samples using the Impact Tester machine referring to ASTM D 6110. The samples were tested for density and thickness expansion referring to SNI 03-2105-2006. The results of the sample testing showed that the optimum density value for the PP3 sample was 1.05 g/cm3 for the reinforced coconut coir and coconut shell samples. Machine bed adalah salah satu komponen terpenting dalam mesin frais CNC karena fungsinya secara signifikan memengaruhi kualitas produk akhir. Bed berfungsi sebagai fondasi alat berat, menopang semua komponen penting alat berat. Ini juga digunakan untuk menghindari deformasi yang disebabkan oleh beban statis dan dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan parameter modal dari beberapa paduan yang berfungsi sebagai bahan alas, seperti baja karbon, baja paduan, dan baja tahan karat, dengan bahan yang digunakan pada umumnya. Model tiga dimensi dan analisis modal machine bed dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak Autodesk Inventor. Baja paduan menunjukkan nilai frekuensi alami tertinggi dibandingkan dengan bahan lain karena modulus Young yang tinggi dan kerapatan yang rendah. Bentuk mode serupa dengan besaran bervariasi teramati di semua bahan. Menurut temuan tersebut, baja paduan bisa menjadi alternatif yang layak untuk besi tuang dalam struktur tempat tidur peralatan mesin. Over the years, there has been a strong emphasis on predicting the dynamic behavior of machine tool structures by identifying modal parameters. The machine bed is one of the most significant components in a CNC milling machine because its functionality significantly affects the final product's quality. The bed acts as the machine's foundation, supporting all of the machine's critical components. It is also utilized to avoid deformation caused by static and dynamic loads. This study aims to compare the modal parameters of several alloys used as bed materials, such as carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel, to those of a common material. A three-dimensional model and modal analysis of the bed were conducted in Autodesk Inventor software. Alloy steel shows the highest values of natural frequencies compared to other materials due to its high Young’s modulus and low density. Similar mode shape is observed with varied magnitude in all the materials. Penelitian dilakukan serangkaian percobaan dengan tiga variasi parameter-proses tersebut.   Waktu pemanasan divariasikan masing-masing 30, 35 dan 40 detik, pre-stretching degree dari 0,1 hingga 0,3, dan evacuation rate dalam nilai 6 mm/detik, 8 mm/detik dan 10 mm/detik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa parameter yang mampu meminimalkan radius pada sudut specimen adalah: tingkat evakuasi 10 mm/detik, waktu pemanasan 40 detik dan derajad pre-stretching 0,1 Vst.   Hasil produk vacuum forming dapat dioptimalkan dengan kombinasi tingkat evakuasi vakum yang tinggi, waktu pemanasan lebih lama dan derajad pre-stretching rendah. This study examines the influence of thermoforming process parameters, namely heating time, pre-stretching degree, and vacuum evacuation rate, on the distribution of wall thickness and dimensional accuracy of the product. The research involved a series of experiments with three variations of these process parameters. Heating time was varied at 30, 35, and 40 seconds, pre-stretching degree ranged from 0.1 to 0.3, and evacuation rates were set at 6 mm/s, 8 mm/s, and 10 mm/s, respectively. The results showed that the parameters capable of minimizing the radius at the specimen's corners were a vacuum evacuation rate of 10 mm/s, a heating time of 40 seconds, and a pre-stretching degree of 0.1 Vst. Konsekuensi dari pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan bermotor tersebut adalah meningkatnya produksi ban kendaraan bermotor yang mengakibatkan menumpuknya limbah ban bekas. Salah satu inovasi untuk mengurangi limbah karet ban bekas adalah dengan memanfaatkannya dalam campuran aspal. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui perubahan indeks kekuatan sisa pada campuran Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Coarse (AC-WC), merupakan lapis perkerasan yang terletak paling atas yang berfungsi sebagai lapisan keausan dengan penambahan limbah karet ban bekas (crumb rubber) yang memenuhi Spesifikasi Bina Marga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan limbah ban karet berpengaruh terhadap karakteristik marshall yaitu nilai berat jenis, berat jenis, Voids Filled With Asphalt (VFA), dan stabilitas tertinggi berada pada taraf 1%, sedangkan nilai Voids in Mix (VIM), Void in Mineral Agregate (VMA), dan flow tertinggi. berada pada level 9%. Dari uji index of retaining strength menunjukkan bahwa air berpengaruh terhadap keawetan campuran AC-WC, dibuktikan dengan nilai tertinggi pada lama perendaman selama 24 jam dengan konsentrasi 1% yang semakin menurun dengan bertambahnya lama waktu. dari perendaman. Penambahan limbah karet ban bekas (crumb rubber) ke dalam campuran AC-WC telah memenuhi Spesifikasi Bina Marga pada uji karakteristik Marshall, namun perubahan indeks kekuatan retensi hanya pada lama perendaman 24 jam, sedangkan untuk jangka waktu lain tidak sesuai dengan Spesifikasi Bina Marga. The growth of the number of motorized vehicles in Indonesia every year always increases. The consequence of the growth in the number of motorized vehicles is the increasing production of motorized vehicle tires which results in the accumulation of used tire waste. One of the innovations to reduce the waste of used tire rubber is to use it in asphalt mixtures. The study was conducted to determine the change in the index of retained strength in the Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Coarse (AC-WC), is the top layer of pavement which functions as the wear layer,  mixture with the addition of waste rubber from used tires (crumb rubber) meeting the Bina Marga Specifications. The results showed that the addition of waste rubber tires affected the marshall characteristics, namely, the highest specific gravity, density, Voids Filled With Asphalt (VFA), and stability values were at a level of 1%, while the highest values of Voids in Mix (VIM), Void in Mineral Agregate (VMA), and flow were at a level of 9%. From the index of retained strength test, it shows that water affects the durability of the AC-WC mixture, as evidenced by the highest value at the duration of immersion for 24 hours with a concentration of 1%, which de-creases with increasing duration of immersion. The known problem is the higher strength and cost of producing jigs because the production process is not much at the trial and error stageThis study analyzes the static strength of the jig side frame bogie of the Jabodebek LRT with the parameters of the safety factor and deformation values.Static loading simulation method testing process used is conducted by using Finite Element Method software. It is counted manually to one of conditions to obtain the voltage value compared to the simulation results. This analysis is in form of measured jig design with safety factor and deformation value. The redesigning aim is weight decreasing efficiency. The simulation obtained result in jig early design is the safety factor value 25 and deformation value 0,045 mm. After jig dimension decreasing has been conducted, the redesigning result for safety factor value is 32 and the maximum deformation is 0,114 mm. The results of both simulations are considered as safe because the safety factor values are more than 2 and the deformation value are less than 0,5 mm.
