With the emergence of this innovation, it is hoped that it can maintain tourism and reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic because it can be enjoyed at home. The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of Government Policies in 5 Super Priority Destinations (Lake Toba, Labuan Bajo, Borobudur, Mandalika and Likupang) through social media (YouTube) with a comparative case study of promotions conducted at Wishnutama and Sandiaga's tenure. Quantitative descriptive research method using YouTube videos collected since January 1st. 2020 to February 4, 2022. The number of samples used is 65 videos that meet the requirements of 5 Super Priority Destinations. The testing tool used is Nvivo 12 Pro with several stages of Node creation to a total comparison of the subject and object of research. The result of this study is that Sandiaga is more communicative in promoting 5 Super Priority Destinations with various new programs such as video content created and consistent upload schedules. Both Wishnutama and Sandiaga have the same significant focus on the Lake Toba destination. The messages included in the uploaded YouTube videos are dominated by Communication Policy messages as well as informative messages from each destination. A systematic literature review was conducted by reviewing a total final sample of 15 articles published from 2012-2021; the database sources used in the study were Elsevier, Emerald, MDPI, Taylor and Francais, and Harzing's Publish or Perish with the Scopus API Key based on inclusion and exclusion criteria for analysis and synthesis to meet the purpose of the article. Leadership styles in rural tourism are currently found in 14 leadership styles. All leadership styles in rural tourism illustrate the need for integration and networks to develop successful rural tourism, in contrast to the leadership styles adopted by other sectors. The dimension of leadership measurement in rural tourism is based on the rural tourism characteristics. There are twelve leadership dimensions measurement in rural tourism that are different from the measurement of leadership in general. There are theoretical and empirical gaps, so one of the challenges in applying the dimensions of leadership measurement is bridging research with applications in other sectors. This literature review is presented to describe the leadership style in rural tourism that is needed and has been widely adopted to help and support the community to find a successful leadership style in developing rural tourism.","PeriodicalId":359340,"journal":{"name":"E-Journal of Tourism","volume":"304 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114599376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are also essential for the DMO to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the destination, thus providing the DMO with important information to further develop the destination. Visitors' evaluation of the destination attributes of Penglipuran Village is still unknown. Therefore, his article aims to discuss the visitors’ evaluation of destination attributes of Penglipuran Village to understand attributes the visitors perceived as important and how they are performing. The research implemented a quantitative approach, using the survey as the main method to collect primary data concerning the perception of respondents toward the importance and performance of those destination’s attributes. The sample was determined purposively and chosen from a population of tourism students of Bali Tourism Polytechnic. Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) was used to analyze the data collected from 157 respondents. The result shows that there are six attributes considered very important, with three out of those six performings impressively, while the other three are of poor performance. The result also indicates that eight attributes are considered not important, even though three of those are performing impressively, while the other five are performing poorly. Based on the result, this article recommended for the tourism management organization of Penglipuran Village to focus their attention and effort on attributes plotted on the fourth quadrant of the IPA, while providing suggestions to improve the performance of those important attributes deemed as having poor performance. \u0000Key words: evaluation; destination attribute; importance; performance; Penglipuran.","PeriodicalId":359340,"journal":{"name":"E-Journal of Tourism","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127169625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This phenomenon almost occurs in various regions in Indonesia, especially in Balikpapan City. The purpose of this study is to analyze the planning of gastronomic tourism destinations from the tourists' perspective. This research was conducted using a descriptive survey method to determine the expectations of tourists visiting Manggar Beach in Balikpapan City regarding the gastronomic aspect. Data collection was carried out in April–June 2022 using an online questionnaire (google form), which was distributed to 117 respondents. The results of data collection were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 descriptively (frequency, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation). The scale of validity and reliability was measured. Research findings show that the gastronomy offered by culinary centers is less varied, most 76.9% of visitors have the habit of bringing raw food ingredients and cooking independently, 15.4% brought food and beverages from home, and 7.7% bought those available at culinary centers. Most of the visitors rated the satisfaction variable indicator in the unfavorable category, the lowest average value was Y2 (x? = 1.82, SD= 0.38) and the highest mean Y8 (x? = 2.50, SD = 0.76). \u0000Keywords: gastronomy; gastro tourism; destination planning; tourist expectations.","PeriodicalId":359340,"journal":{"name":"E-Journal of Tourism","volume":"65 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114147932","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Likewise, a tourist's journey during a trip has an influence on satisfaction and tourists in terms of the choice of destinations visited, memories made, joy in traveling, as well as the tendency to be more important between the chosen destinations compared to travel companions. This study aims to analyze the pattern of tourist travel and the index of tourist satisfaction with travel companions in traveling in Bali. This study uses a large sample with the Slovin formula for an error level of 4 percent. Questionnaires were distributed by accident to 600 tourists. Data were analyzed by Importance Performance Analysis, Customer Satisfaction Index and qualitative descriptive. The characteristics of tourists who travel to Bali are relatively young adults in terms of age and education and a high level of mastery of technology. Most tourists look for information on the internet in addition to recommendations from family and friends before tourists travel to Bali. This reflects that there has been a change in the use of travel services, media promotion, advertising and other prints. The pattern of door trips visiting Bali shows a spider web pattern, which is the first center (hub) pattern from entering tourist attractions spread across regencies/cities in Bali. The level of suitability of travel indicators in traveling in Bali shows that it is not appropriate or does not meet the expectations of tourists to Bali in general.
