Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teori dan metode psikoanalisis Lacan yang dilakukan melalui mekanisme metafora dan metonimi dengan menganalisis penanda-penanda yang terdapat pada kedua cerpen tersebut. Hasilnya, hasrat pengarang termanifestasi melalui ceritanya yang menyatukan hal-hal yang tidak nyata, bersifat irasional dengan yang nyata, bersifat rasional, menjadi satu kesatuan yang dapat hidup berdampingan sebagai alam dan kebudayan. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The subject of research researchers chose grade 8 (2019/2020) at SMP Pasundan Medan. The results showed that the researcher found four types of errors: omission, additions, misinformation, misordering. Then, the researchers found the highest error made by students was misinformation with a percentage of 53%. This problem is influenced by students feeling confused to understand the simple past because they do not know the meaning and difference between regular verbs and irregular verbs. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik kuantitatif untuk menilai tes yang berupa pemahaman isi membaca cepat dan teknik kualitatif yang merupakan hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi foto. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus memiliki empat tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan (tindakan), tahap pengamatan (observasi) dan tahap refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan membaca cepat dengan media teks bergerak siswa kelas IX-1 SMP HKBP Sei Mati Medan. Salah satu fungsi dari bahasa adalah sebagai alat komunikasi. Bahasa berperan penting dalam komunikasi antar negara dengan berbagai kebudayaan. Banyaknya jumlah imigran yang berada di Indonesia serta keberadaan mereka yang berada dibawah pengawasan petugas petugas pendampingan, namun sebagian besar imigran ini tidaklah memahami bahasa Inggris ataupun bahasa Indonesia. Meskipun negara Indonesia bukanlah menjadi tujuan utama para imigran ini. Indonesia hanyalah merupakan negara transit sementara mereka dengan harapan akan dimudahkan dalam proses reshuttement ke negara ketiga (tujuan). Proses adaptasi sempurna atau assimilation tidak berjalan karena migran anak dengan lingkungan masyarakat di luar DCH, proses yang gagal dalam proses komunikasi persuasif antara pekerja sosial dengan anak.
