Fenomena-fenomena sosial yang direpresentasikan dalam teks diteliti dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Dengan pendekatan tersebut ditemukan bahwa fenomena interseksi dalam novel “Kuli” ditampilkan dengan penceritaan etnis untuk memperjelas situasi dikotomis antarkuli yang berasal dari etnis berbeda. Meski ditulis oleh seseorang yang berada di luar dominasi dan organisasi etnisitas yang ada di Indonesia, apa yang digambarkan oleh Lulofs setidaknya dapat menjadi referensi untuk mengamati bagaimana situasi sosial pada masa perkebunan Deli, pemikiran dan cara pandang seseorang yang berada di tengah-tengah peristiwa kuli kontrak, mengenai persoalan interseksi anteretnis di wilayah Sumatera Utara, berikut situasi ideologis yang berkembang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauhmana efektivitas supervisi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar guru dan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Pengawas Sekolah melakukan supervisi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode penelitian tindakan. Penelitian dilakukan dalam bentuk laporan penelitian tindakan kelas, yang dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan, yaitu mulai bulan Peberuari 2019 sampai dengan bulan April 2019. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Swasta Methodist 4 Medan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Berdasarkan analisa data pada kondisi awal,siklus I dan siklus II ternyata supervisi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru mengajar. Peningkatan kemampuan tersebut sebagai hasil bimbingan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti terhadap guru secara individu dan kelompok untuk memecahkan masalah yang teridentifikasi pada setiap siklus. {"title":"PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COURSE REVIEW HORAY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS VI SDS METHODIST-2 MEDAN","authors":"Ceing Suwarni","doi":"10.34012/bip.v2i1.887","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.34012/bip.v2i1.887","url":null,"abstract":"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas VI SDS Methodist-2 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI sebanyak 34 orang, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, test, dan foto dokumentasi. Hasil persentase kinerja guru pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 65% dengan kategori cukup. Sedangkan untuk minat belajar siswa saat mengerjakan LKS sebesar 65%, minat siswa pada saat pembahasan soal sebesar 74,4%, minat siswa pada saat pembahasan materi pelajaran sebesar 80%, minat siswa pada saat evaluasi sebesar 80,4%. Selanjutnya hasil persentase kinerja guru pada siklus II adalah sebesar 85% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dan persentase siswa aktif dalam belajar sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat baik. Untuk minta minat siswa saat mengerjakan LKS sebesar 88,4%, minat siswa pada saat pembahasan soal sebesar 86,8%, minat siswa pada saat pembahasan materi pelajaran sebesar 88%, minat siswa pada saat evaluasi sebesar 90,4%. The problem of this study are “What kinds of suffix are found in narrative text?” and “What kinds of prefix are found in narrative text?” This study attempts to find out kinds of suffix are found in narrative text and to find out kinds of prefix are found in narrative text. For acquiring the data, the students are tested. The subjects in this study is seventh grade SMP Sw. Puteri Sion Medan. This study was conducted by using descriptive qualitative design to analyze suffix and prefix in narrative text. The finding of this research showed that the average score is 77,61. One of the contents on the English textbook is reading. A good content of reading has several criteria. The criteria can be a clear explanation, easily to be understood, and giving new information to the students. This research aims to find out whether the content of textbook especially in reading materials fulfills criteria of good content. In conducting this research, interview and content analysis method were used to collect the data about the reading content on the textbook. After conducting the research, there were several findings about the reading content of the textbook such as the reading materials were implemented by using any various forms and perspective of English teachers of the school about the textbook. Moreover, this study also intends to determine students' responses to the learning strategy after the implementation of correspondence with their pen pals. This research used descriptive qualitative. The subject of this study was eighth grade students of SMP Nasrani 1 Medan. This study used an observation sheet to observe the implementation of a letter with pen pals in the learning and teaching process, for more accurate data, researchers distributed questionnaire sheets to students to find out the responses of students and conducted interviews with teachers of English studies on the implementation of the pen pal project. The results of this study indicate that exchanging letters with pen pals can trigger students' enthusiasm and desire to learn to write, especially writing recount texts. The results of this study also show that students can communicate effectively in English to express their ideas and thoughts about certain topics they like in their letters based on experiences they have experienced in the past. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode genealogi wacana Foucault. Analisis secara genealogis berusaha membangun dan mempertahankan singularitas peristiwa, meninggalkan peristiwa spektakuler untuk peristiwa sepele, serta melihat keseluruhan rentang fenomena yang sering ditolak sebagai sejarah. Cerpen yang dianalisis adalah “Sampah”, “Teror”, “Anjing (I)”, dan “Mimpi”. Berdasarkan empat cerpen yang dianalisis, semua mewacanakan permasalahan moral. Unsur yang didiamkan adalah institusi ataupun subjek yang menjalankan kekuasaan. Selain itu, dalam empat cerpen yang dianalisis, semuanya mengandung alat-alat yang mendukung strategi kekuasaan. Dengan demikian, ada kekuasaan di dalamnya. In research that yielded: the level of student’s ability to write English essays that require mistakes made on verbs is “fair.\".
