Because it reflects many aspects of life; It gives a glimpse of the social life that prevailed in that era, in addition to the style of clothing in that period, through a pencil case drawn by the Iranian artist to express that life. The use of lacquered cardboard was common in two centuries (12-13 AH) (18-19 AD) It was widely used in manufacturing ink cartridges and pencil cases; the spread of these products was due to their cheap price and ease of use, its suitability with the economics of the Iranian market. Therefore, it was used in manufacturing pencil cases instead of metal. Iran has witnessed a remarkable progress in lacquer making art, Iran has reached a high degree of maturity and artistic creativity that no one else has reached. This creativity is only a result of the patronage of the sultans, shahs, and princes of Iran, art and artists throughout the ages, whether by encouraging them or lavish them with huge amounts of money and supplying them with all the raw materials needed and what is necessary for their artwork, and artists competed in producing unique and intense pieces of art Excitement and mastery out of their keenness to satisfy the kings of that era, and this was evident from the drawings and decorative pictorial scenes that are the subject of the study. لا لوانتي اهل ىتلا ةددعتملا ةيفرخزلا رصانعلاو ةيريوصتلا رظانملا ثحب سكعت اهنلأ ؛نا ريإ ىف ةيملاسلإا ةراضحلا رهاظم ىلع فرعتلا ىف ةيمهأ ىتلا ةيعامتجلاا ةايحلا نع ةحمل ىطعت ىهف ؛ةايحلا بناوج نم ديدعلا كلت ىف سبلاملا لاكشأ ىلإ ةفاضلإاب ،رصعلا كلذ ىف ةدئاس تناك ةرتفلا نانفلا اهمسر ةملقم للاخ نم ،لبق نم رشنت مل ةملقم للاخ نم كلت نع ربعيل ىنا ريلإا قو .ةايحلا د نوهدملا ىوقملا قرولا مادختسا عاش ( نينرقلا ىف هيكلالاب 12 13 )ـه ( 18 19 لمع ىف ةرثكب مدختساو )م اهنمث صخر تاجتنملا كلت راشتنا ىلع عجش دقو ،رباحملاو ملاقملا ةلوهسو هلمع اذهو ا قوسلا تايداصتقا عم هبسانتو كلذ ةاعا رم نع لًاضف .نداعملا نم لًادب ملاقملا ةعانص ىف تلمعتسا كلذل ؛كادنآ ةينا ريلإا نا ريإ تلصوو هيكلالا ةعانص نف ىف اًظوحلم اً روطت نا ريإ تدهش دقو لصي مل ىنفلا عادبلإاو جضنلا نم ةيلاع ةجرد ىلإ رامضملا اذه ىف ف ،اهريغ اهيلإ ،ةفلتخملا ةينفلا هتاجتنم ىف عدبأو ىنا ريلإا نانفلا نقتأ نا ريإ ماكح ةمظع ىلع لديل ةماخفلا نم اً رهظمو اًعون اهيلع ىفصأو اهتاهاشو نا ريإ نيطلاس ةياعر ةجيتن لاإ عادبلإا اذه ناك امو ، كاذنآ وأ مهعيجشت للاخ نم ءاوس ،روصعلا رم ىلع نينانفلا و نفلا اهئا رمأو هقادغإ داوم نم هيلإ نوجاتحي ام لكب مهدادمإو مهيلع ةلئاطلا لاوملأا م ىف ةرتفلا كلت ىف نونانفلا ىرابتو ،ةينفلا مهلامعلأ مزلا وه امو ماخ ،ةديرف ةينف عطق جاتنإ ،ةراثلإا ةديدشو ءاضرإ ىلع مهنم اًصرح ناقتلإاو ا رظانملا و موسرلا نم اًحضاو كلذ ادبو ،رصعلا كلذ كولم ةيريوصتل .ةسا ردلا عوضوم ةيفرخزلا","PeriodicalId":354702,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Tourism, Hotels and Heritage","volume":"123 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126785588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences on economic recession, employment, investment, and demand were not confined to the tourism business only but extended to include other tourism–related sectors such as event management. This study aims to explore the potential role of events on destination branding, from the perspective of the tourism industry stakeholders. The study purposed to answer the research question: how destinations can use successful events, post the COVID-19 pandemic to promote optimism to stimulate tourism helping in mitigating the impact of the crisis, and accelerating recovery while maintaining the destination positive image. The research conducted semi-structured interviews with 12 key event management and tourism stakeholders in Egypt. According to the interviews, seven main themes emerged: Travel restrictions, safety measures and less interaction, promotion of complementary tourist services and attractions, best means of using events to rebuild a destination’s brand after crisis, the need for cooperative planning between the industry key players, the synergizing of event and destination marketers’ efforts, role of media to support events. With these findings, this study provided recommended plans for destination branding to help take the necessary actions to ensure and prepare for the future recovery of the events market. Consequently, this study contributed practically. In addition, it developed empirical evidence that contributes knowledge, filling in the academic gap found in literature. ىلع ريبك لكشب رثأتيو ريبك با رطضا نم ةحايسلاو رفسلا عاطق يناعي ةحئاج رصتقي مل .ملاعلا ىوتسم COVID-19 دوكرلا ىلع هبقاوعو لب طقف ةحايسلا عاطق ىلع بلطلاو رامثتسلااو ةلامعلاو يداصتقلاا دتما فدهت .ثادحلأا ةرادإ لثم ةحايسلاب ةلصلا تاذ ىرخلأا تاعاطقلا لمشيل تاملاعلا ىلع ثادحلأل لمتحملا رودلا فاشكتسا ىلإ ةسا ردلا هذه ةيراجتلا ،ةهجولل .ةحايسلا ةعانص يف ةحلصملا باحصأ روظنم نم تاهجولل نكمي فيك :ثحبلا لاؤس ىلع ةباجلإا ىلإ ةسا ردلا فدهت لأا مادختسا ثادح ،ةحجانلا ةحئاج رشنو COVID-19 لؤافتلا زيزعتل ريثأت نم فيفختلا يف دعاسي امم ةحايسلا زيفحتل ،ةمزلأا عيرستو ثحبلا ىرجأ .ةهجولل ةيباجيلإا ةروصلا ىلع ظافحلا عم شاعتنلاا عم ةمظنم هبش تلاباقم 12 تايلاعفلاو ثادحلأا ةرادإب نيينعملا نم اقًفو .رصم يف ةيحايسلا ملل ،تلاباق دويق :ةيسيئر رواحم ةعبس ترهظ ،رفسلا لعافتو ةملاسلا ريبادتو ،لقأ ةيحايسلا تامدخلل جيورتلاو بذجلا قطانمو ةيليمكتلا ،يحايسلا ثادحلأا مادختسلا ةليسو لضفأو دعب ةهجولل ةيراجتلا ةملاعلا ءانب ةداعلإ ،ةمزلأا طيطختلا ىلإ ةجاحلاو يسيئرلا نيبعلالا نيب ينواعتلا يف ني ،ةعانصلا تاهج دوهج رفاضت ثدحلل قيوستلا ،ةهجولاو عم .ثادحلأا معد يف ملاعلإا لئاسو رودو هذه ،جئاتنلا ةيراجتلا ةملاعلل اهب ىصوم اطًطخ ةسا ردلا هذه تمدق يفاعتلل دادعتسلااو نامضل ةمزلالا تاءا رجلإا ذاختا يف ةدعاسملل ةهجولل .ثادحلأا قوسل يلبقتسملا ،يلاتلابو .ايًلمع ةسا ردلا هذه تمهاس ىلإ ةفاضلإاب ،كلذ يف مهاسي يذلا يبيرجتلا ليلدلا روط ،ةفرعملا دسو .بدلأا يف ةدوجوملا ةيميداكلأا ةوجف","PeriodicalId":354702,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Tourism, Hotels and Heritage","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132703181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The current study presents a number of innovative solutions and outcomes of managing heritage tourism of Alexandria sustainably. It investigated stakeholders' perceptions of the potentials of the digital transformation of El Montazah Gardens as one of the iconic heritage destinations of the old city. It adopted The City Model Canvas (CMC) as a planning tool for proposing a new model as an action plan for transforming El Montazah gardens into a smart heritage destination either for the botanic or the built heritage. The proposed model was named Destination Management Canvas (DMC), and it goes beyond smart applications on-site for representing the attractions to smart management of heritage tourism in a sustainable manner while respecting nature and culture. The implementation of the conducted study requires an integrated vision towards local development and the inclusion of all stakeholders. The results indicated to the easiness and trust in the application of smart technology with a positive attitude towards the application and its positive economic, social and environmental outcomes.
