Evaluation of Accessible Tourism Services as a Modern Trend for Tourism Development in Egypt

The integration of people with disabilities in the tourist trip and giving them the right to practice tourist activities and create all the appropriate conditions for them is an important way to achieve many social and national values. This research paper aims to evaluate the services provided to people with disabilities, people with special needs and the elderly, and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of accessible tourism in Egypt, as well as to explore the extent of participation Travel and tourism companies and hotels in facilitating facilitated tourism operations within the Egyptian tourism sector. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical approach and the data was collected through interviews with various stakeholders from the public and private sectors regarding accessible tourism, and the researcher distributed 385 valid questionnaires to persons with disabilities, special needs, the elderly and workers in travel agencies and hotels.
