A strategic change was made and results were evaluated, considering the comparison between the current and future situation in the design of production volume, product characteristics, manufacturing time, and process analysis in relation to wastes, defects and storage of unnecessary materials, which can increase the cost of the final product. Likewise, the reduction or elimination of resources is also a trend from a sustainability perspective, as these inefficiencies can lead to increased consumption generated in production and impact the environment. Considering the importance of the Production Strategy aligned to the operations as a priority for the achievement of positive results, a theoretical, exploratory, bibliographical and descriptive reflection was carried out. The research conducted is of an applied nature and the methods of inductive and comparative approach have been adopted. The applicability of the Lean Production concepts and tools was analyzed and, through a case study, the productive process of the industry was investigated. The contribution is to certify that with the adoption of lean tools and thinking, it is possible to eliminate wastes, promoting improvements in the manufacturing process, and measuring financial gains. Expanded to a general pattern of decisions determining the long-term skills and their contributions to the global strategy combining market requirements and resources. Currently, from the whole evolution of the internet and its related technologies, there are a wide range of data available in various formats and storage places. This voluminous data set available, called Big Data, can support the understandings and managerial and strategic visions in a way interesting, effective and relevant, since they combine some factors and tools. Therefore, the objective of this article is to present a proposal for a framework that supports the strategy of production via use of aspects of Big Data. The method of research was conducted in three stages: i) literature search in 5 steps; ii)elaboration of a theoretical-conceptual framework (BD-ProdStrateg) in 5 steps; and iii)application of illustration of the proposed framework (BD-ProdStrateg). The main contribution was the systematization of a proposal using a theoretical right to authors of consolidated production strategy and on the other hand the latest reference about Big Data and its possibilities to be explored. Thus, the risk mentality enables the identification and minimization of negative effects, maximizing the opportunities and potential of the business. The aim of this paper is identify how the insertion of risk management requirements in ISO 9001 and 14001standards may contribute to spreading the risk mentality in organizations. We interviewed 11 auditors and consultants, with experience and training in the area, who were working in certified companies in the brazilian state of Espírito Santo. To analyze the data, the technique of content analysis was used to identify thematic categories and to relate the data to the literature. The results indicate that the certified companies have undergone a process of incorporation of risk management requirements that can be catalyzed by environmental aspects: size and nature of the company, barriers to risk management, professionalization and standardization of processes and client influence. A production model system can engender different reactions by the people involved; some of them can show resistance during the process, ranging from unreserved support to a hidden resistance (even explicit). In order to identify the main practices to support change processes, this study provides a literature review to systematize the main researches related to change management during lean manufacturing implementation. This study aims to provide a systematic literature review covering main researches related to change management and lean manufacturing implementation to identify the main factors that affect the production system change. The research was carried out between October 2016 and January 2018. In methodological terms, literature review was developed by using Scopus and ISI web of Science publications. As a result of this study, 25 papers related to lean manufacturing implementation were identified and 10 factors were consolidated.
