In the different versions of NS2, the design of this simulator is based on a single interface single channel; which makes the implementation of multi-interface multi-channel (MIMC) more difficult and more complex. So, the work in this paper is to provide a more generic solution which based on containerization technology, allowing the researchers to have complete flexibility when using the configuration of MIMC scenarios. By applying our solution (NS2-MIMC), the researchers will be able to run their simulations on any environment without the need to install and con figure NS-2.","PeriodicalId":352572,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123741592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The approaches to solving web scraping that were published in the last two decades have the drawback that they all to a certain degree rely on the structure and existence of the underlying Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) or Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). To reduce this dependency and move to understanding websites more human-like, this short paper presents a scientific project that proposes a web scraping approach based solely on the visual representation of a given website. For this purpose existing approaches from the domain of Document Layout Analysis and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) are taken into concern. This short paper provides relevant background knowledge to the involved fields of science and proposes a methodology along which the suggested approach can be implemented and tested in further work.","PeriodicalId":352572,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122914368","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recently, researchers have been particularly interested in the detection of the roadway. Several new approaches have been proposed in the last decade. In this paper, we present a comparative study of roadway detection methods using three algorithms. The one is based on HOUGH transform, the second on the RANSAC algorithm and the third on the RADON transform. The objective of this paper is to make a comparison of these method in order to robust estimation methods in computer vision and to apply the method of RADON for the detection of the roadway.","PeriodicalId":352572,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131836293","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, Fog Computing extends cloud computing services to the edge of the network and could be integrated with Internet-of-Things (IoT) to enable computing services for such devices. Thus, improves security, efficiency and reduces the amount of data transmitted across the network to the cloud for processing, analysis, and storage. In this paper, we present a comparative study of fog computing architectures then we suggest our distributed model in order to face the IoT access control problems using the XACML language in a Fog Cloud.","PeriodicalId":352572,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115602140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We now see robots everywhere, domestic, assistance, leisure, services, industry ... Everything is changing and transforming. Is it to give rise to a better or challenging future, or to a positive future? We will have the opportunity to find out the answer through many studies, and this article initiates one of them.Artificial intelligence is qualified as being a new trend between revolution and science fiction, an innovation engine that is itself a literal innovation. Artificial intelligence is boosting innovation in all its forms but is becoming more coupled with a new type of innovation, which appeared in 1970 and which is social innovation. We have recently seen calls for projects in social innovation using artificial intelligence, thus contributing to its emergence. Are social innovation, and artificial intelligence the ingredients of a happy marriage? Will the use of artificial intelligence for social innovation [1] be on good terms?The present article will give us an idea about how artificial intelligence contributes to the emergence of social impact and can impact social innovation.The research conducted is not yet completed and still in progress, but it already gave us some conclusions concerning how AI can positively disrupt the human experience. We took as a case study, the group Crédit Agricole in Morocco which counts on its digital transformation to participate in the socioeconomic development of the rural world.","PeriodicalId":352572,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114974288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To guarantee finite time H∞ boundedness (FTB-H∞) of the closed-loop system, the determination of reduced order H∞ controller parameters over finite time interval is discussed. Based on the solution of algebraic equations obtained from the unbiasedness conditions of the estimation error, sufficient conditions are given in this paper to design H∞ reduced order controller. At the end of this paper, there is a numerical example to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":352572,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"112 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130180573","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the companies that control this activity play a significant role in the global economy. However, it is an important source of pollution of water, air, soil and ecosystems by metals. It exploits fossil and non-renewable resources, requiring large amounts of energy and sometimes water. Thus, implementing a sustainable approach through an overall performance integration in manufacturing practices, is become a necessity in this sector. Hence, this research presents a collection of key performance indicators for overall performance evaluation and management in mining industry. The proposed indicators were established from literature on the basis of the sustainability triple bottom line of economic, social, and environmental factors. A survey is conducted then, in a Moroccan mining industry to validate the adaptability of the chosen indicators with the industry activities and practices. Future work will further develop an evaluation tool that will help managers to assess the overall performance in mining industry and to take the appropriate actions to increase its competitiveness.","PeriodicalId":352572,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131531104","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The IoT's principal parameters are energy consumption, network lifetime, processing capacity, data collection, and data delay. Data transmission from nodes via multi-hop communication to a base station (BS) is expensive in terms of delay and energy consumption, where the nodes near the base station will consume more energy than others. To resolve this problem, we deal with the placement of multiple base stations; the objective is to make the most of nodes connected to base stations via one-hop communication and other nodes via an optimal path. To do this, we improved an algorithm of clustering to be suitable to our scenario to make the most of nodes connected to BS via one-hop, and a new method allows the out-clustering nodes to be connected via an optimal path. The simulation results on real data sets show that our proposed approach has a high performance in accuracy, energy consumption, network lifetime, and data delay.","PeriodicalId":352572,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"171 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131557548","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
