However, as geographical big data grows in size and complexity, storing, managing, processing, analyzing, visualizing, and confirming data quality becomes more difficult. Academia, industry, government, and other institutions are increasingly interested in this information. It’s known as Big Data. Since that kind of data recently became massive, there was a need to develop methods to deal with big data and analyze it to keep pace with development. In this paper, we review the previous studies that involve both Big Data and GIS in different applications. Moreover, we focus on the field of agriculture, which is considered one of the most important sources of the economy. Produced results in this research area help decision-makers to make sound executive steps to reach better production.","PeriodicalId":352371,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electronic Engineering (ICEEM)","volume":"62 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120999054","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, different adaptive channel estimation algorithms are studied to allow optical wireless channel equalization. The adaptive channel estimation algorithms considered are standard Least Mean Square (LMS) and LMS with Activity Detection Guidance (ADG) and Tap Decoupling (TD). Random inputs are used in the channel estimation process. These inputs are of white and color natures. Simulation results prove that the LMS algorithm with ADG is fair enough for the channel estimation problem for white inputs. On the other hand, for colored inputs, the TD is required for correct estimation of channel taps.","PeriodicalId":352371,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electronic Engineering (ICEEM)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130949195","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Typically, mm-Wave with massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) can be implemented by using the hybrid beamforming transceivers that consists of massive number of analog phase shifters and smaller number of RF chains. The power consumption and cost are reduced when the hybrid beamforming architecture is implemented by combining the digital and analog beamforming. The main motivation for this paper is to introduce a deep learning-based hybrid beamforming design to join optimization of the precoder and combiner in massive MIMO mm-Wave communication systems. Specifically, the joint optimization of the precoder and combiner is carried out by means of two convolutional neural networks (CNN) and through going into two stages of operation, namely training and prediction stages. The MATLAB simulation results show that the deep learning-based hybrid beamforming approach for the mm-Wave massive MIMO outperforms the legacy optimization-based hybrid beamforming approaches in terms of spectrum efficiency.","PeriodicalId":352371,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electronic Engineering (ICEEM)","volume":"85 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127010030","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Then the proposed structure is compared with a conventional OLED structure. Red ph-OLED QW, in which 4-(dicyanomethylene)-2-(t-butyl)-6-methyl-4H-pyran(DCJTB) doped (8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminum (Alq3) as emitting layer (EML) and N, N′-Di(1-naphthyl)-N, N′-diphenyl-(1,1 ′-biphenyl)-4,4′-diamine (NPB) is used as a hole transport layer (HTL) and interlayer [DCJTB doped Alq3/NPB/ DCJTB doped Alq3]n, Green ph-OLED, in which the 4,4′-bis(Ncarbazolyl)-1,1′-biphenyl (CBP) and tris[2-phenylpyridinatoC2, N]iridium(III) [Ir(ppy)3] are used as the emission layer and N, N′-Di(1-naphthyl)-N, N′-diphenyl-(1,1′-biphenyl)-4,4′-diamine (NPB) are used as a hole transport layer (HTL) and interlayer [CBP: Ir(ppy)3/ TCTA/ CBP: Ir(ppy)3]n and Blue ph-OLED (8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminum (Alq3) and N, N0-diphenyl-N, N0-bis(3-methylphenyl)-1,10-biphenyl-4,40-diamine) (TPD) are used as a hole transport layer (HTL) and interlayer [Alq3/TPD/Alq3]n, n is the well number, which can range from 0 to 6. MQW solved the main problem in the RGB OLEDs: the holes mobility and electrons mobility, which are not the same. Consequently, it leads to the loss and reduction of the Extraction Efficiency (EE). Then, there is a comparison between the output EE before and after applying the MQW on the RGB OLED structures, using the Lumerical Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) simulation.","PeriodicalId":352371,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electronic Engineering (ICEEM)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117168198","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, the prediction of heart-disease is a critical challenge in the area of healthcare systems. In this study, we aim to select the optimal features that can increase the accuracy of heart-disease prediction. A feature-selection algorithm, which is based on genetic algorithm (GA) and random forest (RF), is proposed to increase the accuracy of RF-based classification and determine the optimal heart-disease-prediction features. The performance of the proposed approach is validated via evaluation metrics, namely, accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, and area under the ROC curve by using a public dataset from the University of California, namely, Cleveland. The experimental results confirm that the proposed approach attained the high heart-disease-prediction accuracies of 95.6% on the Cleveland dataset. Furthermore, the proposed approach outperformed other state-of-the-art prediction methods.","PeriodicalId":352371,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electronic Engineering (ICEEM)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125264538","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed approach in this paper is used to help for detecting and classifying the DR. It is applied to detect non-proliferative DR by identifying micro-aneurysms and hemorrhages. Firstly, the pre-processing step is applied. It consists of extracting the green channel, removing the optic disc (OD) and normalizing the background. Then, h-maxima transformation is performed. After that, threshold segmentation is applied to detect the hemorrhages and micro-aneurysms, accurately. Finally, an area classifier is used for the classification process to discriminate dark spot lesions.","PeriodicalId":352371,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electronic Engineering (ICEEM)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128261759","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unfortunately, these systems have experienced several attempts of hacking. If biometric databases are compromised and stolen, biometrics in these databases will be lost forever. Consequently, there is an immediate need to introduce new upgradable biometric systems. The concept behind cancelable biometrics is to convert biometric data to alternative templates, which cannot be easily used by the impostor or intruder, and can be eliminated if breached. In this paper, the inverse filter is utilized in a cancelable face recognition system. In this system, masked biometric images are generated by blurring, noise addition and then inverse filtering. It is well-known in the image processing theory that inverse filtering leads to noise enhancement, which is an undesired effect in image restoration. In contrary, this effect will be desired in cancelable biometric systems. If the noise is magnified with an appropriate extent, it can mask the original biometrics leading to cancelable templates. This is the theory behind the proposed system. The proposed system is applied on the Olivetti and Oracle (ORL) dataset. Simulation results using evaluation metrics such as non-invertibility, unlinkability, visual inspection, False Positive Rate (FPR), False Negative Rate (FNR), Equal Error Rate (EER), Decidability, correlation coefficient, Area under the Receiver Operating Characteristic (AROC) curve demonstrate that the proposed system is resistant to intruders and hackers. Hence, it is efficient for several security applications.","PeriodicalId":352371,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Electronic Engineering (ICEEM)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116318481","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
