To stop the outbreak, employees who work in offices turned to work-from-home. This study identifies the actual work-from-home conditions that managers are experiencing in Indonesia. One hundred and sixty managers from 74 companies in Indonesia who work-from-home during the pandemic were investigated in this qualitative analysis. Their condition while they are working from home was synthesised as the empirical findings. They indicate that working from home has the potential to change managers' productivity, professionalism level, and work quality. However, particular steps need to be taken to avoid negative impacts. Work and life integration is the key to working from home. The practical model of work-from-home is very useful for keeping professionalism, maintaining productivity, and optimising the performance of managers while working from home. It could be adapted by other countries that have a similar experience. The airline catering industry is facing intense pressure to improve its service performance. An appropriate evaluation of supply chain practices will help in implementing effective practices to strengthen competitive position. This paper presents a conceptual model and methodology for assessing the effectiveness of supply chain practices in the airline catering industry, using fuzzy logic. The model is developed primarily from performance attributes, practice categories and supply chain practices specified in the SCOR framework. A supply chain practice effectiveness index is computed using the model, which reflects the current practice status of an airline catering supply chain. The model is illustrated using a case study. The methodology also helps in identifying weak performing practices. Tunisian SMEs lack the resources and capabilities needed to implement digital technologies. Furthermore, the literature argues that digitalisation offers unprecedented opportunities for SMEs, making digitalisation more than fundamental for their survival and growth. The purpose of this paper is to shed light on the relationship between digitalisation and performance, in the context of Tunisian SMEs. Based on a firm-level dataset of 466 SMEs, the results indicate that digitalisation is positively related to firms' performance. This positive relationship is linked with the firm's engagement within a global digitalisation strategy, where it considers digitalisation as being an integral part of its business and activities.
