{"title":"The phenomenon of stigmatization: the case oh delinquency and repeated deeds in Tunisian society","authors":"Ramzi Tej","doi":"10.35552/0247-037-002-005","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35552/0247-037-002-005","url":null,"abstract":"The violations of regulatory rules, martial and religious laws, and social mores were among the reasons that led to the spread of various social phenomena. The latter contributed to social communication disorder and created immense abysses within societies such as immorality, violence and delinquency. Based on the explanatory theories of criminology or criminal sociology, the stigma of deviance was classified as a psychosocial disorder that the stigmatized suffers from, which had been confirmed by various researches starting from 1930s till 1950s. However, sociologists and experts in historical anthropology surpassed the concepts of linguistic terms, which were chiefly investigated by psychologists, to examine the features of stigmatization from a scientific perspective. Through the discussion of stigmatization, this research examines the key implications of stigma in relation not only to individuals but also to communities. This is what follows the regime of subsequent control over the constitutionality of laws. The Palestinian legal system decided to subsequently monitor the constitutionality of laws, and this oversight does not achieve justice in the tax field, as it prejudices the two aspects of justice in the tax field, whether in terms of unjustly collecting tax from individuals, Or regarding the effect of the ruling on the unconstitutionality of the tax text, as the benefit from the unconstitutionality ruling is restricted to the taxpayer who is pleading in the constitutional case to the exclusion of other taxpayers. {"title":"Al-Aqsa University Students' Use of Metacognitive Reading Strategies in Relation to their English Reading Comprehension Competence","authors":"E. Thus, the study aimed to examine Al-Aqsa University students' use of metacognitive reading strategies in relation to their English reading comprehension. The researcher collected the study data through administering the reading section of the international English language testing system test (2019) and a closed-ended questionnaire to 95 students. The researcher also conducted semi-structured interviews with 16 students selected from the 95 participants. Findings indicated that the participants' use of metacognitive reading strategies was high (75.9%), and there was no statistically significant correlation between the participants' reading comprehension and their use of metacognitive reading strategies. Additionally, the study concluded that the use of metacognitive reading strategies might not be the only factor influencing the participants' reading comprehension level. Based on the study results, the researcher introduced relevant recommendations, such as the necessity of considering other factors that may contribute to the participants' reading comprehension (improving lexical competence, using monolingual dictionaries, and utilizing some strategies like reading between lines and drawing inferences).\u0000 نتيجة لندرة الأبحاث على الفهم المقروء باللغة الإنجليزية لدى طلبة جامعات غزة، هدفت الدراسة إلى استكشاف استراتيجيات ما وراء المعرفة الخاصة بالقراءة، وعلاقتها بالفهم المقروء باللغة الإنجليزية لدى طلبة جامعة الاقصى بغزة. وقد قامت الباحثة بجمع بيانات الدراسة من خلال تطبيق قسم الفهم المقروء باختبار(IELTS, 2019) واستبيان مغلق على 95 طالب وطالبة، كما اجرت الباحثة مقابلات شبه مفتوحة مع 16 طالب وطالبة تم اختيارهم من 95 مشارك. وقد اشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى ان نسبة توظيف افراد العينة لاستراتيجيات ما وراء المعرفة الخاصة بالقراءة كانت مرتفعة (75.9%)، وانه لا يوجد ارتباط ذات دلالة إحصائية بين كفاءة أفراد العينة في الفهم المقروء باللغة الإنجليزية وتوظيفهم لاستراتيجيات ما وراء المعرفة الخاصة بالقراءة، وقد أفادت الدراسة ايضا ان توظيف استراتيجيات ما وراء المعرفة قد لا تكون العامل الوحيد المؤثر على مستوى الطلبة في الفهم المقروء. وبناء على نتائج الدراسة قدمت الباحثة توصيات ذات أهمية مثل ضرورة الاخذ بعين الاعتبار لعوامل اخرى من شانها ان تؤثر على الفهم المقروء مثل تنمية الكفاءة اللغوية، واستخدام القواميس احادية اللغة، وممارسة بعض المهارات مثل قراءة ما بين السطور، والخروج بالاستنتاجات.","PeriodicalId":350199,"journal":{"name":"مجلة جامعة النجاح للأبحاث - العلوم الإنسانية","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125397295","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

{"title":"A study of some of the psychological variables associated with resilience in a sample of breast cancer patients","authors":"Yamina Medouri","doi":"10.35552/0247-037-001-002","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35552/0247-037-001-002","url":null,"abstract":"The current study aims to confirm the relationship between some psychological variables with resilience in a sample of breast cancer patients, by checking resilience extent degree of link with some of these factors, which were represented in our study in both the degree of perceived social support and the degree of religious commitment، The sample of the study included 66 cases which were selected from the Hospital of Constantine, and we relied on three scale tools which are the resilience scale, the perceived social support scale, and religious commitment scale. We examine the translations of two KitKat and Snickers commercials which contained word blends and slogan statements. As we do so, we compare the dialectical translations with the Modern Standard Arabic choices to demonstrate that dialectical translation better fits into the genre of commercials as a popular culture text due to three main reasons. It represents the development in the textual history of the linguistic qualities in the Samaritan Pentateuch. The research will present the study comprehensive linguistic qualities, creating an important resource of lexicographical information. to describe the Samaritan Pentateuch, the witnesses for the Hebrew spoken in the Late Second Temple period, and that by itself is important step to describe the Hebrew Samaritan Pentateuch of this period, Through the semantical analysis, and also the etymological. This seems especially important in light of the following considerations the Semitics linguistics. The Samaritan Hebrew language used some words which are otherwise unknown in Hebrew language. Jaradat","doi":"10.35552/0247-037-001-005","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35552/0247-037-001-005","url":null,"abstract":"The Palestinian Supreme Constitutional Court is considered an independent judicial body as Palestine adopts the centralization of judicial form over the constitutionality of laws and resolving conflicts between the three main authorities arising from practicing their competences according to the law of Palestinian Supreme Constitutional Court No. 3 of 2006, and based on it the Supreme Constitutional Court was formed on April 3, 2016. The importance of this study is that it talks about one of the most important ways that ensures the respect of public rights and freedoms, and preserving constitutional legitimacy through judicial questioning for the legislative authority when it exceeds the legal limits, which is based on and conforming the legislation issued by it to the provisions of the constitution through excluding and cancelling the texts which are not constitutional. The study deals with subsidiary defense before the Supreme Constitutional Court in the first section. It focuses on the subsidiary payment by explaining its concept in accordance with the provisions of the Supreme Constitutional Court laws and stating what is meant by the seriousness of the payment and by defending of seriousness and stating the conditions that must be met to consider the payment serious. The study also talked about the limits of the authority of the subject court in its assessment of the seriousness of the payment, and what controls it is subject to – the subject court- when assessing the seriousness of the payment. The second section talks about the effects of the subsidiary defense before the court and the consequences of the defense. The study concluded to a set of findings which asserted on the subsidiary defense as it is the most used method for examining the constitutionality of legislations, especially after forming the Palestinian Supreme Constitutional Court. In the end, the study concluded that the aim of the sub-push should not be to prolong the duration of the conflict.
