{"title":"The Importance of Language Learning Strategies in Foreign Language Acquisition","authors":"I. Marinković, Dragana Pešić","doi":"10.18485/analiff.2020.32.1.13","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18485/analiff.2020.32.1.13","url":null,"abstract":"The paper reports the results of a study on language learning strategy preferences of higher-education students. It is motivated by an ever lower level of English proficiency although most of students have been studying English since the first grade of primary education. The translated version of the SILL questionnaire was used (Oxford, 1990), with several personal background questions added for the purpose of clarifying the results. The data were analysed using the SPSS software. The results show either low or medium strategy utilisation per category, social strategies being most frequently used, followed by compensation, metacognitive and cognitive ones, whereas affective and memory strategies were the least favoured. Average and high-proficiency students use a vast majority of strategies more often than low-proficiency ones. However, affective and memory strategies are most often employed by the least successful students. The comparison between male and female students’ strategy utilisation shows that the former use four categories of strategies more often than the latter, who are more frequent users of social strategies only. However, T-test results reveal statistically significant gender differences in the use of only several individual strategies. Cet essai se propose de tracer les représentations diverses du corps, parfois déconcertantes, dans le cycle « Spleen et Idéal ». Les poèmes inspirés par Jeanne Duval abondent en symbolisme hérité de la poésie chrétienne où les images d’agonie et de décomposition rappellent la nocivité du plaisir charnel. Le poème « Une Charogne » est l’apothéose de l’ironie baudelairienne où il reprend le motif pétrarquiste et ronsardien de la beauté transcendante en méditant sur la décomposition corporelle. Ceci souligne un autre lien symbolique pertinent, celui entre la sexualité féminine et l’animalité : la femme est tantôt serpent, tantôt tigresse. N’oublions pas que le squelette, l’emblème du memento mori et de la Danse macabre, est aussi un corps sans chair. Dans le même groupe de poèmes apparaissent les réminiscences esthétiques relatives à la peinture en tant que paradigme de la perfection formelle (« Les Bijoux »). Les poèmes dédiés à Madame Sabatier évoquent des images où le corps du sujet lyrique est souvent associé à la souffrance. Un certain nombre de poèmes inspirés par Marie Daubrun reflètent l’analogie entre la sérénité de la beauté féminine et le paysage. Quelle valeur faut-il assigner au corps dans le cycle « Spleen et Idéal » ? Est-il toujours symbolique ? {"title":"Razvoj interkulturne kompetencije i primena standarda za kraj osnovnog obrazovanja: smernice za nastavu italijanskog jezika","authors":"Tijana Gaši","doi":"10.18485/analiff.2019.31.2.12","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18485/analiff.2019.31.2.12","url":null,"abstract":"U obrazovnom sistemu Republike Srbije interkulturna kompetencija predstavlja jednu od ključnih kompetencija koju učenik treba da razvije na kraju ciklusa osnovnog obrazovanja u okviru nastave stranog jezika i shodno tome ima važno mesto u Opštim standardima postignuća za kraj osnovnog obrazovanja za strane jezike12. Razvoj interkulturne svesti i pismenosti kod pojedinca važan je za njegovo bolje integrisanje u današnje društvo. Ipak, interkulturni pristup je i dalje novost u nastavnom procesu i neretko se dešava da kulturološki sadržaji ne bivaju obrađeni tokom godine usled smanjenog fonda časova stranih jezika u školama ili usled problema evaluacije stečene interkulturne kompetencije. Sa druge strane, standardi su neretko shvaćeni kao ograničenje kreativnosti tokom nastave i dodatni pritisak nastavnicima tokom izrade mesečnih i godišnjih planova. Stoga je cilj ovog rada da ukaže na važnost interkulturnih elemenata u obrazovanju i da olakša primenu interkulturnih metoda na časovima.
