Software testing is one of the main activities in software development life cycle. This process consists of a few activities, which includes developing test plan and strategy, test design, test execution and evaluation of test result. However, a customized testing process is required for a specific domain in order to ensure the correctness and completeness of the test result. This project proposed a customized software testing process for Shared Banking Services (SBS) system and the study was conducted in order to identify the specific modules in SBS and its characteristics which differentiate it from other software applications. Besides that, two testing methodologies, which are RUP Test Discipline and Systematic Test and Evaluation Process (STEP), were compared based on criteria such as main activities, roles and responsibilities, artifacts and level of testing. Variable active filter have been designed in BICMOS technology and used Advanced Design system (ADS) software for Design and simulation circuits. It is controllable for both quality factor Q, varying from 55 to 85, and a center frequency wider than 700MHz at the 2GHz band. Achieved Gain above 20dB from 1.65–2.35GHz. We used active input and output impedance matching. The Malaysian University Research Assessment Instrument (MyRA) is an assessment method used to evaluate the performance of current RUs, as well as other universities vying to become one. The amount of data to be organized is vast; therefore an information system based on MyRA needs to be developed in order to organize the data more efficiently. This paper presents an Entity-Relationship analysis for such a system. Eagle Layout Editor 5.4 software was used to design hardware schematic diagram of the project. Graphical User Interface (GUI) display and Short Messaging Services (SMS) Gateway were developed using Visual Basic 6.0 and Ubuntu Server Edition respectively. In addition, Oracle VM Virtual Machine 4.0.4 was applied to replace the hardware into virtual machine. This real time monitoring system is developed to monitor the changes of water level and send an alert to user via a Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) cellular network immediately whenever a system defined alert condition occurs. This system is targeted to be implemented as a flood warning tool by respective local authorities. Specifically, they are used as cores in transformers, generators and motors, efficiently converting magnetic energy into electricity. The magnetic properties of steel laminations need to be precisely estimated in order to design an accurate electrical machine. In this study, two types of magnetic materials, grain-oriented and non-oriented electrical steel were used. Measurements were performed for vertical and horizontal arrangements of one-dimensional magnetizing system at the frequency of 50 Hz. The magnetic properties were principally investigated by developing the magnetizing system, constructed by two laminated C-cores with copper winding in excitation mode. The most important quantities in characterizing the magnetic materials are the magnetic field strength, H, and magnetic flux density, B. Results obtained indicate that different core arrangement influences the detected field strength. The ANN technique is conducted in order to improve the minutia extraction techniques. The classification of thumbprint is used in order to match the person's identification and train the data by using ANN. The data of thumbprint is taken from five different people. For each person, 30 thumbprint data is taken. All the data will be the input for artificial neural network for learning purposes. All the data will be adjusted using Corel. Then by using Matlab software, the data is trained and tested according to the artificial neural network program. This is to ensure that the output is matched with the input data. The result will be shown in the graph to identify whether the system is sufficient for training the thumbprint data. It can also be used for person identification. It focuses and compares the performance analysis based on Quality of Service (QoS) factors on the throughput and delay between Ad Hoc on Demand Distance Vector (AODV) and Temporary Ordered Routing Algorithm (TORA) protocols for mesh network with a single source. Ad Hoc on Demand Distance Vector is a reactive protocol and Temporary Ordered Routing Algorithm is on-demand reactive protocol which is the hybrid protocol. Previous research did shown that AODV is better than TORA for a larger nodes that is more than 30 nodes an some says that TORA is better for smaller nodes environment. In wireless ad hoc network, the nodes must be able to interconnect each other to establish the link or connection from source to the destination. The results show that AODV outperformed TORA in the throughput but AODV had higher delay than TORA. The amplifier was designed in the Triquent GaAs process using the ADS software package. Simulation results show high output power and good power gain linearity up to the 3dB compression point.
