Demand for such type of mobile broadband services and applications are growing rapidly as it provides freedom to the subscribers to be online wherever they are at a competitive price and other significant facilities such as increasing amounts of bandwidth, using a variety of mobile and roaming devices. The earliest version of WiMAX is based on IEEE 802.16 and is optimized for fixed and roaming access, which is further extended to support portability and mobility based on IEEE 802.16e, also known as Mobile WiMAX. However, frequent topology changes caused by node mobility make routing in Mobile WiMAX networks a challenging problem. This paper presented an analysis on those routing protocols especially designed for wireless networks. A study and comparison on the performance of three routing protocols (AODV, DSR, and DSDV) for Mobile WiMAX environment is done. An assumption of each subscriber station has its routing capabilities within its own network is prepared. The performance matrix includes Packet Delivery fraction (PDF), Throughput, End to End Delay, and number of packet dropped were identified. The study used NS2 simulator for the comparison on the performance analysis. Successfully results found that AODV protocol outperform the DSR and DSDV.","PeriodicalId":346890,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE International Conference on System Engineering and Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128657730","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First of all, a LNA single-ended was designed; then the basic circuit of the differential LNA was discussed finally, we illustrate the benefits of utilizing a differential approach with the design instants of a Low Noise Amplifier, a differential LC filter and a floating negative resistance topology. The LNA and active Filter were designed in the BiCMOS HBT process. ADS2010 was simulated to obtain the preliminary results.","PeriodicalId":346890,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE International Conference on System Engineering and Technology","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116536149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Support Vector Machines (SVMs) are machine learning tools based on structural risk minimization principle and have the advantageous characteristic of good generalization. For this reason, four well-known and widely used SVM based methods, one-against-one (OAO), oneagainst-all (OAA), fuzzy decision function (FDF), and DDAG have been used here and an optimized SVM based technique is proposed for classification based fault diagnosis in reciprocating air compressors. The results obtained through implementation of all five techniques are thus compared as per their accuracy rate in percentages and the performance of the proposed method with 98.03 percent accuracy rate was found to be better than all other classification methods. With the compressor datasets being complex natured, proposed method is found to be of vital importance for classification based fault diagnosis pertaining to reciprocating air compressors.","PeriodicalId":346890,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE International Conference on System Engineering and Technology","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131932592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The UWB signals were: Gaussian monocycle pulse and UWB chirp signal. Average bit error rate (BER) degradation of the victim system was evaluated under in-band interference from the UWB signals in AWGN channel. Simulation results indicated that Gaussian monocycle pulse degrades the BER characteristic of an OFDM system more severe than a UWB chirp signal, where significant BER floor were observed at the victim receiver. The amplitude probability distributions (APD) of interfering UWB envelope signal at the victim receiver were analyzed.","PeriodicalId":346890,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE International Conference on System Engineering and Technology","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122408706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research involves 30 samples which 15 samples are smoker and the rest are non smoker. During this research, six point of the human body's frequency mainly focus on chakra area was recorded using RFI. The data was analyzed using aura interpretation for Human Body software by converting the frequency into color hence analyzing it using Energy Field Score and categorized the frequency. The results demonstrate that 33% of the non smokers are in excellent group whereby none of smoker falls into this group. This finding indicate that non smoker have higher energy field score as compared to smoker. Consequently, non smoker in particular are generally healthier than smoker.","PeriodicalId":346890,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE International Conference on System Engineering and Technology","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131663605","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
