Previous research did shown that AODV is better than TORA for a larger nodes that is more than 30 nodes an some says that TORA is better for smaller nodes environment. In wireless ad hoc network, the nodes must be able to interconnect each other to establish the link or connection from source to the destination. The results show that AODV outperformed TORA in the throughput but AODV had higher delay than TORA. Abstract

This paper evaluates and compares mobile ad hoc network (MANET) routing protocols for wireless sensor network (WSN).
