By implementing gardening activities students are trained to design, build and develop agricultural hustles at school through cultivating and harvesting the plants that may be consumed and added economic value. The service activity aims to utilize the school garden as a medium for learning natural science and social Science at the Indonesian school of the Hague. Methods of implementing activities consist of preparing materials tools, preparing seeds, clearing land, planting, caring for plants, observing the students’ behavior toward school gardens, and evaluating students’ understanding of school subject matter based on learning resources in the school garden. Sekolah yang dua tahun berdiri ini memiliki total 13 guru mata pelajaran wajib dan mulok. Permasalahan yang kami temukan di sekolah ini adalah (1) banyak guru yang mengajar disana tidak memiliki latar belakang pendidikan guru, (2) sebagaian besar dari mereka yang belum pernah mengikuti pelatihan pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran untuk guru, dan (3) dokumentasi perangkat pembelajaran di sekolah akhirnya belum bisa terlaksana dengan baik. Beberapa masalah inilah yang menjadi motivasi bagi kami untuk melakukan pendabdian masyarakat disana sebagai upaya kami dari Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan untuk melakukan dharma kami. Dalam upaya kami untuk bekerja sama dengan SMP IM Sumber Terang sebagai sekolah binaan FKIP UQ, langkah pertama kami yakni dengan melakukan beberara tahapan pelatihan. Tahap pertama kali ini yakni pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran dengan judul Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran bagi Guru-Guru SMP IM Sumber Terang Bolo, Ujungpangkah, Gresik. Dalam kurun waktu 2 bulan ini program kami disana dari tahap survei kebutuhan, persiapan, pelatihan, pendampingan dan pelaporan. SMP IM Sumber Terang is a junior high school level school that was established in 2020 in Bolo Village, Ujungpangkah District, Gresik Regency. This school, which has been in existence for two years, has a total of 13 compulsory and mulok subject teachers. The problems we found at this school were (1) many of the teachers who taught there did not have a teacher education background, (2) most of them had never attended training on making learning tools for teachers, and (3) documentation of learning tools at school in the end it could not be done properly. It was these problems that motivated us to do community service there as part of our efforts from the Teaching and Education Faculty to carry out our dharma. In our efforts to work with IM Sumber Terang Middle School as a FKIP UQ target school, our first step was to carry out several stages of training. The first stage this time was training and assistance in making learning tools with the title Development of Learning Tools for Teachers of SMPIM Sumber Terang Bolo, Ujungpangkah, Gresik. This complete and appropriate learning can be demonstrated by the teaching modules used by the teacher. In fact, teachers still encounter problems in compiling teaching modules that suit the needs of students in the current era of digital technology. This obstacle is also experienced by high school English teachers in Sidoarjo. One of the challenges is the lack of innovation in using and implementing information and technology-based English learning media. Therefore, with this community service, the authors aim to increase the high school English teachers' innovation through training on teaching module development with EdPuzzle integration. The success of this program was measured from a questionnaire filled out by the teachers. As a result, teachers who previously did not know what EdPuzzle was were finally able to create and implement it in class. They argue that digital media such as EdPuzzle is very useful for teaching and learning English. In Nigeria, the youth form 60 percent of the population. The majority of them are unemployed and ultimately poor. Poverty reduction requires empowerment to overcome the barriers to a better life. This study examined the nature of youth empowerment and its impact on the well-being of the youth in Yobe State, Nigeria. It used a quantitative method and administered questionnaires to 393 randomly selected respondents. Data was collected on youth's attitudes, views and experiences on various aspects of their lives and well-being and the nature of empowerment programmes in Yobe State. The study findings show that many empowerment programmes have been implemented but have had low impact on the youth. Poverty and unemployment remain high, mainly among the youth. In addition, youth attitudes and experiences show a lack of satisfaction with the nature of youth empowerment. Disempowered youth lack the confidence and belief that they have the opportunities to develop themselves or escape poverty and such disempowerment compromises their citizenry roles as the youth. The aim of this workshop is to equip Biology teacher candidates for Madrasah Aliyah and High School so that they have the knowledge and skills to apply Integrated Biology learning with the values of the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah. The method of this activity is through a workshop which consists of several activities, namely Product Knowledge debriefing activities, discussion of the stages of the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah integrated learning model, simulations and assignments. The workshop was attended by 72 prospective teachers.. Based on the assignment to practice applying the 6 Phases of learning integrated with the values of the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah, student skills are not very good. Terlebih dalam era learning loss pasca pandemi ini yang membuat peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang dilakukan berupa pelatihan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam penerapan 3 bentuk asesmen ini diikuti oleh 28 guru SMP yang berasal dari wilayah Kecamatan Tersono dan Limpung, Kabupataen Batang, Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan tersebut menggunakan metode pelatihan denagn konsep FGD dan Latihan praktik penyusunan rancangan pembelajaran. Keadaan dilapangan dimana mayoritas guru masih bingung dengan konsep dan penerapan asesmen menjadi dasar kurang efektifnya penerapan kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka di satuan pendidikan. Kegiatan pelatihan mengenai penerapan 3 bentuk asesmen dalam pembelajaran dapat meluruskan miskonsepsi mengenai asesmen dikalangan guru serta meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Pada akhir kegiatan, menunjukkan hasil 100% peserta telah memahami dan mampu merancang pembelajaran terintegrasi 3 bentuk asesmen sebagai implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum policy, one of which is the application of assessment in the learning process, requires teachers as educators to continue to improve their pedagogical skills and competencies. Especially in this post-pandemic learning loss era which makes improving the quality of education in Indonesia a challenge in itself. The Community Service activity carried out in the form of training to improve teacher competence in implementing 3 forms of assessment was attended by 28 junior high school teachers from the Tersono and Limpung Districts, Batang Regency, Central Java. The activity used training methods with the concept of FGDs and practical exercises in preparing lesson plans. The situation in the field where the majority of teachers are still confused about the concept and application of assessment is the basis for the ineffective implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum policy in education units. Training activities on the application of 3 forms of assessment in learning can straighten out misconceptions about assessment among teachers and improve teachers' pedagogical competence in designing quality learning. This poses a challenge for every mother, who typically acts as a shield for her family in maintaining their immune system. Instead of using chemical-based multivitamins that may have long-term effects, there are kitchen ingredients that can be utilized to create natural multivitamins. The purpose of this program is to enhance the knowledge, skills, and productivity of partners in processing kitchen ingredients into natural, healthy beverages using the JSR (Prophet's Healthy Technique) method. The program begins with providing awareness sessions to partners, who are members of the PKK Sungai Pauh Firdaus, followed by training in the processing of kitchen ingredients into healthy beverages using the more practical JSR method, which also allows for selling and adds economic value for partners. The results obtained by partners after participating in the program include an improvement in their knowledge and skills in processing kitchen ingredients into healthy beverages.
