To find out the opinion of the respondents regarding the effectiveness of the «Plagiarism and academic integrity» academic subject, despite working in the conditions of a full-scale war in Ukraine, and to adjust the content of this academic subject under the study results, a survey (conducted on May 09–26, 2022) by the method of purposive sampling with Google Forms was used. It covered 67 respondents. This is 69.1% of the general population, that are the students with whom the author worked within this academic subject. The questionnaire contained 6 questions: 3 open-ended questions and 3 close-ended questions. To process the received information, the study used methods of generalization and analysis of information: systematization, grouping, qualitative (text analysis, classification) and quantitative (digital data) methods of data interpretation. The results are presented as a detailed verbal description.Results. It was found that for 100% of the respondents, the academic subject opened up new knowledge and for 97% helped to master new skills important for maintaining academic integrity. The interviewees testify that the educational course is mostly balanced and creative, but it is still worth adding some items about plagiarism in artistic fields; increase the number of training exercises to develop the skills to compose list of references, to use citations, to create paraphrases and compilations, etc.; focus more on enhancement of basic competencies. Almost 75% of the respondents noted that studying the course prompted them to investigate more deeply the problems of academic integrity in general and plagiarism in particular. Respondents are most interested in creative industries, such as music, cinema, and literature, which means that it will be necessary to offer such formats for acquiring knowledge and skills that combine approaches and principles of academic integrity with course issues, for example, the creation of podcasts devoted to the prevention of plagiarism in various fields.Novelty. A number of issues are outlined that should be included in the course content, such as plagiarism and photography, plagiarism and stand-up, plagiarism and social media. Competences are highlighted, which, although they are fundamental in obtaining higher education (critical thinking, generating ideas, analyzing information) can be deepened in mastering of this academic subject.Practical importance. The following methods were used in the research process: systematization, analysis and synthesis, comparison. Results. The analyzed source base reveals that the toolkit for constructing media reality in Russian propaganda materials includes the following elements: stereotypes, framing, selection method, manipulation of opinions, use of conflicts, storytelling, use of actions/actors, emphasis on violation of norms, propaganda methods, preferences, genre specificity, reporting elements, visual tools, etc. The study indicates that, unfortunately, there are many elements of Russian propaganda in the modern local dimension of media discourse. On the one hand, the messages of these propaganda materials are aimed at an audience with a lack of critical thinking and a low level of media literacy. However, the toxic content in the distribution of such messages in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region is also realized to a wider audience, since the residents of these cities and villages have no or almost no access to Ukrainian sources of information, have unstable communication, and are in an information vacuum. All these are favorable conditions for the effective spread of Russian messages in the minds of our fellow citizens.Practical significance. The results of the research can be used during courses related to the topics of propaganda, construction of media reality, modern history of Ukraine, journalism and social communications, in particular, for the specialties «Journalism», «Advertising and public relations», «Information business». In addition, they can be used as materials of informational and educational significance, a source base for further scientific and practical developments, as well as in the work of media workers to counter enemy propaganda in conditions of information warfare. The current study is focused on the comprehension of phenomenon of visualization and infographic instruments in project activities. Today, the visual organization of an information message is recognized as a powerful component in establishing interaction with external and internal groups of the public. It is noted that this way of data interpretation contributes to a better perception and memorization of the relevant meanings by the recipients. It is emphasized that this approach to publicizing information is a powerful factor in promotion of any projects. The algorithm of visual reproduction of the material is characterized as a simplified form of its presentation, which contains the result of an in-depth content analysis. The variety of infographic types of data transcoding is noted. Attention is focused on such ways of visual communication as storytelling/longread and timeline, which take special place according to the principles of information representation. The novelty of the research consists in the representation of visual/infographic component as a multifunctional phenomenon, which contributes to projects realization at various levels of their implementation, in particular: during the formation of company identification components, the actual presentation of the idea itself and the process of its implementation at the level of each stage. The practical significance of the research is revealed in the representation of the algorithm and variations of visual/infographic component application in modern project practices. Keywords: visual communication, data visualization, infographics, project activity, storytelling/longread, timeline, information and communication activity.","PeriodicalId":345460,"journal":{"name":"State and Regions. The article considers the issue of content syndication of communication platforms, which contributes to the fruitful work of communication specialists with the target audience. Sufficient attention of contemporaries is paid to the concept of «content», while the phenomenon of syndication is little researched. Rapid filling of platforms with content highlighting pressing issues became important for Ukrainians with the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the aggressor country. The importance of receiving information quickly and qualitatively from various alternative sources (besides traditional media) is relevant for that part of the population that is in temporary occupation. Therefore, the ability to quickly find a resource for a consumer and quickly distribute it for a media person is extremely urgent today.

The work offers the author's vision of the concept of «content syndication» and analyzes the algorithm of cooperation with the readership. Six main steps are proposed, but it is worth noting that they are not a panacea in the work of a communications specialist or opinion leader, as they can be reduced or supplemented depending on the situation, conditions and issues that arise.

The novelty of the obtained results is that the vision of content syndication as a holistic process in applied social and communication technologies is systematized and described.

The practical significance of the study lies in the description of content syndication from the perspective of modern information and communication processes. In social communications, there is no detailed description of web content syndication as a process of working with the audience, which is the relevance of the research topic.

Key words: content, content syndication, readership, information processes.
","PeriodicalId":345460,"journal":{"name":"State and Regions. Messages that are fixed in this way have become the object of studying not only in scientific investigations of social communications, but also of linguistics and media psychology. The analysis of popularity of the «orc» concept in mass media and meme culture in Ukrainian journalism studies has received single episodes of attention. Apart from this, separate research works contained value judgement of the ethic problems of this communicative practice, which fact narrows down the understanding of its cultural phenomenon.

Practical significance. The results of this research can be used in the studies dedicated to media awareness, hate speech in mass media and memes (the approach that researches functionality of memes as entities of cultural information). also, the study may be interesting to practical journalists as a means of studying the impact of emotional-imaginative content on their audience.

Key words: full-scale war, Russo-Ukrainian War, orcs, mass media, mass media means, media reality, image of the enemy, physicality, meme, visual image.
","PeriodicalId":345460,"journal":{"name":"State and Regions.
