Putri","doi":"10.33633/lite.v18i2.5834","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33633/lite.v18i2.5834","url":null,"abstract":"AbstractThis study aims to determine the types of the directive act and its function found in the American Disney movie Cruella, released in 2021. The study was conducted with the observation method and analyzed using quantitative and qualitative methods. The researcher collected the data through several steps, such as watching the movie several times, taking note of the utterance indicated as a directive act, and classifying the utterance into the types of the directive. The theory proposed by Searle (1979) was applied to analyze the data. Therefore, this study found that 51 utterances were considered directive acts. The data is divided into five types, including ask (16), suggest (10), forbid (7), order (9), and request (3). From the total data, asking became the most frequent frequency in the movie since the character frequently used the question to get the hearer to give an answer or the information. The occurrence of suggestions on the second rank of total data found follows it. The speaker produces the type of suggestion to suggest the hearer do an action. AbstrakTindak Ilokusi Directif yang Diucapkan oleh Tokoh pada Film Cruella Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan tipe tindak ilokusi direktif dan fungsinya pada film produksi Disney, Amerika yang berjudul Cruella yang tayang di tahun 2021. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan dianalisis menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui berbagai tahapan, seperti menonton film Cruella beberapa kali, mencatat ucapan yang terindikasi sebagai tindak ilokusi direktif, dan mengklasifikasikan ucapan tersebut kedalam tipe-tipe tindak ilokusi direktif. Teori yang dicetuskan oleh Searle (1979) diaplikasikan untuk menganalisis data. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat 51 ujaran yang dianggap sebagai tindak tutur direktif. Data dibagi menjadi lima tipe yaitu pertanyaan (16), saran (10), larangan (7), perintah (9), permintaan (3). Dari total data, tipe pertanyaan menjadi tipe yang paling sering muncul di film karena tokoh pada film sering menggunakan pertanyaan untuk membuat pendengar memberikan jawaban atau informasi. Jumlah tipe pertanyaan diikuti oleh penggunaan dari tipe saran yang berada pada posisi kedua sebagai tipe yang paling sering muncul dari total data. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data consisted of Abdur Arsyad’s stand-up comedy video published on Youtube. The data method collection used listening and note-taking techniques. The result showed that political humor in Abdur Arsyad’s stand-up comedy can be classified into (1) humor to criticize political figures and political groups, and (2) humor that describes bad conditions in society: political repression, education, corruption, and social inequality. The researcher applied Pre-Experimental method where one group of students was involved .The sample consisted of 40 students who were taken from the tenth grade (X MIA 4 Class) students of SMAN 16 Makassar using purposive sampling technique. The instrument of this research was reading comprehension test which consist of 20 multiple choice items. The data were collected in pretest and posttest and analyzed using SPSS. The result of data analysis showed that the mean score of pretest was 42.00 and posttest was 78.62. It indicates that there was improvement between those mean score. The standard deviation in pretest 14.268 and the posttest was 10.377. In addition, the t-test value of posttest was 0.00 which was smaller than (α) = 0.05. Therefore it concluded that the Implementation of GIST strategy improves the reading comprehension of the tenth grade students at SMAN 16 Makassar. \u0000 \u0000Key terms: Reading Comprehension, GIST (Generating Interaction Between Schemata and Text). \u0000 \u0000Abstrak \u0000 Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan strategi GIST dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa kelas sepuluh SMAN 16 Makassar. Peneliti menerapkan metode Pra-Eksperimental di mana satu kelompok siswa terlibat. Sampel terdiri dari 40 siswa yang diambil dari siswa kelas X (Kelas X MIA 4) SMAN 16 Makassar dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes membaca pemahaman yang terdiri dari 20 item pilihan ganda. Data dikumpulkan dalam pretest dan posttest dan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata pretest adalah 42,00 dan posttest adalah 78,62. Ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan antara skor rata-rata tersebut. Simpangan baku pada pretest 14.268 dan posttest adalah 10.377. Selain itu, nilai uji-t postes adalah 0,00 yang lebih kecil dari (α) = 0,05. This study is categorized as a qualitative study using descriptive methods by analyzing error data and then presented in the form of describing data analysis. The data collection technique was conducted in the study of literature and documentation by photographing, listening, and taking notes. Content analysis technique is used to describe errors in depth. The analysis found three types of affixation errors, the first prefix there were 12 errors. Both suffixes have 7 errors. Third Confix, there are 19 errors. \u0000Abstrak \u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mendiskripsikan kesalahan tulisan yang berada pada media Babe.com khususnya bagian afiksasi untuk kemudian dapat diperbaiki kedepanya. Penelitian ini dikategirkan sebagai penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan Metode deskriptif dengan cara menganalis data kesalahan kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk memaparkan analisis data. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan stdudi pustaka dan dokumentasi dengan cara memotret, simak, dan mencatat. Teknik analisis isi digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan secara mendalam. Hasil analisis ditemukan tiga jenis kesalahan afiksasi yang pertama prefiks terdapat 12 kesalahan. Kedua sufiks terdapat 7 kesalahan. Tokoh dapat diamati tentang kepribadiannya, salah satunya tentang dinamika kepribadian; yang mencakup proses yang terjadi dan mengakibatkan perubahan kepribadian tokoh. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dinamika kepribadian tokoh Sasaki Miyo dalam anime Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah menambah referensi tentang dinamika kepribadian tokoh Miyo dalam anime ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak-catat. Data yang ditemukan dianalisis menggunakan teori dinamika kepribadian Sigmund Freud. Tiga unsur penting yang memengaruhi dinamika kepribadian seseorang yaitu, insting, kecemasan, dan mekanisme pertahanan. Setelah dianalisis, tokoh Sasaki Miyo diketahui mengalami dinamika kepribadian dengan mengalami tiga unsur tersebut. Pada awal cerita, Miyo diceritakan memiliki sifat tertutup dengan orang terdekatnya. Setelah terjebak dalam wujud kucing dan berhasil melakukan mekanisme pertahanan jenis kompensasi, keinginan Miyo untuk bertahan hidup semakin kuat, sehingga ia berusaha untuk merebut wujud manusianya dari sosok penjual topeng. Setelah berhasil merebut wujud manusianya, Miyo mengalami kecemasan moral yang membuatnya tersadar akan perbuatannya selama ini yang tidak ingin terbuka dengan keluarganya. Miyo pun berusaha memperbaiki hal tersebut dan ingin lebih terbuka dengan keluarga dan orang terdekatnya. Syamsuddin durisawo ponorogo Islamic boarding school. This type of research is called \"Classroom Action Research.\" This method has a significant influence on student activity. It improves student learning outcomes in Arabic lessons, and the number of students in class 1A is 28. This research aims to apply the index card match learning strategy to increase students' activeness and learning outcomes in Arabic subjects. Researchers used testing, observation, and documentation methods to obtain the necessary data. The research results are as follows: 1. The application of the index card match has achieved learning activeness in about 46% of 28 students, and the second stage of student activeness reaches 70% of 28 students. 2. The index card match strategy has achieved the learning outcomes. The short story is interesting because it contains different views on the understanding of love. This study examines the psychology of the character in the short story which focuses on the characteristics of each character's love. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with the psychoanalytic theory of Erich Fromm. In this study, researchers found two divisions of the psychology of love in the short story character Mu'tamar Al-Hub. That is, found four forms of essential elements of love and five forms of objects of love. First, the researcher found the psychology of journalist characters who showed an attitude of concern, and responsibility and included in the type of erotic love. Second, the psychology of the musician character shows responsibility and the type of love in the form of motherly love. Third, the psychology of the poet’s character shows the respect and love included in the category of brotherly love and erotic love. This research analyzed figurative language in three Eminem’s songs entitled Mockingbird, When I'm Gone, and Zeus to find out the figurative language and the meaning behind it. This research uses a qualitative study that aims to obtain information about figurative language with related theories from Perrine (1992). The Data were collected by using a descriptive qualitative method. It has been found that there are figurative language used to convey meaning in the song, there are simile, metaphor, hyperbole, personification, symbol, and allegory. Untuk itu, pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan dari interpretasi teks dan gambar pada sampul buku, didukung oleh jurnal untuk dianalisis. Selanjutnya, teori Barthes tentang hubungan antara penanda dan petanda yang disebut “staggered systems” diterapkan dalam kasus ini. Menurut Barthes, dua tingkatan itu adalah denotasi dan konotasi. Konotasi didefinisikan sebagai makna yang dikaitkan dengan gambar di luar tingkat denotasi yang jelas, sedangkan denotasi didefinisikan sebagai tingkat makna pertama dan paling sederhana dari sebuah gambar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan makna konotatif tanda melalui teks dan gambar yang terdapat pada sampul buku Five Little Pigs karya Agatha Christie versi penerbit William Morrow Paperbacks tahun 2011.
