Internet and private networks are examples of such networks. Transferring the data between computers increases the risk of un-authorizing access of unauthorized people. Protecting data is so important to be safe from unexpected and invisible threats, which are difficult to detect as most notably intrusion and infiltration.The aim of this paper is to hide a digital color image inside a digital video file using the Discrete Wavelets Transform (DWT) and Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs). The digital video file, which represents the cover, is splitted into a set of frames and partitioned into three colored layers (red, green and blue). The discrete wavelets transform technique is applied to each one of the three layers.To hide the colored image (watermark), it is firstly partitioned into the three colored layers (red, green and blue). Then, it is layered into a set of clusters. The ANNs are used as artificial hiding techniques to hide each cluster in the digital video file.The results showed that the use of the DWT and ANNs are effective and encourage in hiding data. After applying this work algorithms to a set of samples, the results also showed harmony and compatibility in the process of concealment with the treated samples.","PeriodicalId":343983,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Electrical, Communication, Computer, Power and Control Engineering (ICECCPCE)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123666322","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The autonomic nervous system is the responsible about most of the sweat glands activities; as a result, the GSR has been used to study the emotions and stress. This paper is focusing on three researching variables: firstly, examine the possibility of using the GSR as a physiological marker to monitor the emotions and stress of participants during presenting three groups of photos (sad, happy and neutral). Secondly, checking the reliability of a long term recording site rather than the hands; and finally, investigating the GSR signal while doing mild exercise (treadmill walking). The scapula has been chosen to record the GSR and to check the possibility of using it as long term recording site. Statistical analyses have shown that using the GSR signals to examine subjects’ emotions was not reliable when using emotional images as stimuli. On the other hand, correlations between the GSR signals from hands and scapula have shown high similarity between them with the correlation value (0.729). However, mild exercise has significantly altered the GSR signal making it difficult to interpret in the presence of stimuli.","PeriodicalId":343983,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Electrical, Communication, Computer, Power and Control Engineering (ICECCPCE)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126415555","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a three-phase voltage source inverter fed by photovoltaic circuits is used to drive and control speed of an induction motor. Fuzzy logic (FL) and conventional PI controllers designed to adjust and control speed of the induction motor. This article focused on designing and implementing of FL and PI controllers with photovoltaic circuit as a DC power source. Simulation speed and torque responses of a three-phase induction motor show that the drive circuit provides good responses based on FL, PI, and PI and FL optimized by bacterial foraging optimization algorithm. These results are compared and verified that the dynamic performance of the induction motor with FL and PI based on bacterial foraging controller provides good operation performances than other controllers.","PeriodicalId":343983,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Electrical, Communication, Computer, Power and Control Engineering (ICECCPCE)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125756334","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The first technique is the large SVPWM and the second technique is the large-medium combination SVPWM. These two techniques are validated in simulation and experimental results. Two-level five phase voltage source inverter (VSI) is essentially used to drive five-phase machine which is utilized for high power applications. Space vector modulation is necessitated to choose appropriate space vectors to improve the output voltage of five phase inverter. It is well-known that low order harmonics are created by d3-q3 sub-plane and appeared in d1-q1 fundamental sub-plane. Results showed that low order harmonics can be minimized significantly by using a combination of a large and medium space vectors.","PeriodicalId":343983,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Electrical, Communication, Computer, Power and Control Engineering (ICECCPCE)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128467326","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Synchronization, with its two steps (acquisition and tracking), is a challenging task for such Multiple Access Systems (MAS). In this paper a Novel Fast Clocking Acquisition Synchronizer (NFCAS) which is based on parallel code phases comparison is designed, modeled, simulated and practically implemented using Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). In the proposed synchronizer a fast clock is introduced to speed up the synchronization process. The synchronizer shows a very fast, reliable and direct synchronization in one step rather than two steps. Also the simulation and practical results show a perfect consistency for codes synchronization time which is inversely proportional to the ratio between the introduced fast acquisition clock and the common (transmitter/receiver) traditional slow clock.","PeriodicalId":343983,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Electrical, Communication, Computer, Power and Control Engineering (ICECCPCE)","volume":"121 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115296782","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The scope of this paper is to understand and to give the reasons that what makes some modeling languages successful in certain contexts and not applicable or weak in others. This study focuses on compare and evaluates data modeling languages that lead developer to the exposure the benefit of using an application in multiple environments. In order to do this, this paper proposed a framework to compare and evaluate some widely used languages such as EER, UML class diagram, and XML. The framework contains three phases; the first contains a text description of these languages and their capabilities. The second contains a uniform example used and applied to them. In the final, the values of evaluation are recorded by using the framework matrix. The criteria that used is the conceptual modeling and their characteristics, notation and its properties, the pragmatics and practice. The weight of each criterion determines its importance and the grades that specifies the conformity of the criteria were based on surveys, researches, and laboratory, and was conducted at the Northern Technical University -Iraq.","PeriodicalId":343983,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Electrical, Communication, Computer, Power and Control Engineering (ICECCPCE)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123793173","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

FR4 substrate is used with dimensions (22×22) mm2, 1.5 thickness, 4.3 permittivity ϵr and 0.02 loss tangent. The type of feeding used to excite this antenna is microstrip line feed. An iterative method of fractal geometry up to the 2nd iteration is used in this design and taking the advantage of a self-similarity property of fractal geometry. The proposed model is investigated for different radius of circular-shaped patch Pr and ground plane length Lg and simulated using High-Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) Ver.14 software. The results of the simulation show that when Pr=7.5mm and Lg=4mm, it can achieve the optimum bandwidth with more reduction in reflection coefficient S11 values and good gain. The proposed model has the best impedance matching attained at the 2nd iteration, which equals to 66.3% at center frequency of 7 GHz. The obtained bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 4.7GHz over a frequency range (4.6-9.3) GHz with a peak gain of 4.24dB. Also, the current distribution of the proposed antenna over various frequencies is studied. The proposed model is fabricated and tested by Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). The measured results showed acceptable compatibly with simulated results. This antenna is suitable for recent wireless communication applications including C-band that used for satellite communication, weather radar system, Wi-Fi and ISM band applications.","PeriodicalId":343983,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Electrical, Communication, Computer, Power and Control Engineering (ICECCPCE)","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126304131","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An approximate linear phase bi-reciprocal lattice wave digital filter (BLWDF) is used for QRS complex extraction. The output of the BLWDF is fed into a neuro classifier system. Various ECG signals from the European ST-T and QT databases are then classified into four classes of human heart diseases: Normal, Right Bundle Branch Block (RBBB), Left Ventricular Hypertrophy (LVH), Left Bundle Branch Block (LBBB). Neural network training process is accomplished using Matlab toolbox to obtain the weights and bias values. The classifier is then implemented on a Spartan6 Xilinx Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) device. A feed forward neural network with two layers and four neurons with an activation function of the type \"tan-sigmoid\" is modeled using Xilinx System Generator blocks. The models are then translated into Very High Speed IC Hardware Description Language (VHDL) to measure the usage percentage of the chip resources and to calculate the maximum operating frequency.","PeriodicalId":343983,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Electrical, Communication, Computer, Power and Control Engineering (ICECCPCE)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114846877","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
