This fault often occurs when one of the overhead conductors breaks and contact the ground this will result in an energized high-voltage conductor coming into the reach of personnel. With the techniques of Digital Signal Process, software and hardware can be also designed for improving the detection reliability in these kinds of current faults in the power system. In this paper, a new technique to evaluate the 3rd and 5th harmonics to detect HIF is proposed. The fuzzy logic control was trained by practical fault data from the practical test of a laboratory prototype under downed one conductor to Wet Sand condition. The performance studies of practical results show that the proposed technique was effective in detecting high impedance fault. With this integrated approach, the accuracy in detection fault was significantly improved over other types of detection techniques based on a conventional algorithm.","PeriodicalId":343983,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Electrical, Communication, Computer, Power and Control Engineering (ICECCPCE)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131246558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Steps that taken here produce a procedure of dominating for the purpose of clamping the form of radiation pattern even that the frequency of operation, dimension, number of element, and region of excitation may be varied, where today and in past tapering are used for the purpose of beam forming, but the radiation pattern must be chosen from the standard forms of pattern in far field by synthesizing mean, while this procedure of dominating is based on curve fitting tools mainly. That mean state equations of array elements are weighted and equalize to state equation of radiation pattern. Currently fitting is done by imposing a natural pattern ${e^{ - a{theta ^2}}}$ for the array antenna and dominating it around the array antenna for a one wavelength arc, where at any way dominating can be done arbitrary. Factor {a} is used to scaling Half Power Beam Width for this kind of pattern. All these things are done by using only 3-elements. The elimination is done by providing an excitation function for the limited number of array elements and tested by estimating field intensity according to antenna theory.","PeriodicalId":343983,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Electrical, Communication, Computer, Power and Control Engineering (ICECCPCE)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128322283","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Passive solar still of (80cm x 50cm) cm base area integrated with solar collector of five evacuated tubes with U-copper tube inside and PTC reflectors. The effect of solar collector, pump flow rate, heat transfer medium in the evacuated tube, and water level and their effect on the system performance with climate conditions have been studied experimentally. In the passive solar still the saline water fixed in the still and absorb the solar radiation, but in the active solar still the saline water pumped through U-copper tube in evacuated tubes to absorb more energy and back to the still. Results showed that: the productivity increased by 37.6% in case of using oil in the evacuated tubes at 2cm water level in the still, and increased by 53.8% at 3cm water level, so oil in the evacuated tubes represent the best medium as compare to air and water. Maximum percentage of increase in the productivity was 70.311% in case of 3cm water level, pump flow rate 3 L/m and oil in the evacuated tubes. The productivity of the active solar still increased by 6.65% when the pump flow rate increase from 1 to 3 L/m at 2cm water level, and increase by 2.35% at 3 cm water level. Maximum increase in the productivity was 236.826% in case of 3cm water level, pump flow rate 3 L/m and oil in the evacuated tubes. In this paper, the effect of the two factors are considered to improve the dynamic performance of IPMSM. For presenting and simulation the skewing of rotor magnets, it is more convenient to use 3-D FEM model than. The RMxprt software has been used for modeling and simulating the synchronous motor and calculating the values of cogging torque and the working torque at steady state condition. Then the model, based on RMxprt software, has been transferred to Maxwell 3-D software for computing the distribution of magnetic field and explaining the performance under steady-state operation. The obtained results show important reduction of cogging torque due to the effect of applying the slot opening and the skew of the permanent magnets approaches.","PeriodicalId":343983,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Electrical, Communication, Computer, Power and Control Engineering (ICECCPCE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134523855","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Voltage decreasing (sags) of Ten percent standing for five to ten cycles can cause an expensive loads damage. To relieve the low quality problems of power equipping, the modifier of voltage source could be connected by transmission lines serial which put as compensators. Which are called Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR). This research is suggesting a new blueprint for DVR controller by applying an adaptive neuro-fuzzy logic. As well as, the theory of instantaneous power is applied to estimate the voltage phase because of the great accuracy and low calculation for this theory. Their development must suit many factors such as contamination, distance to health centers, financial constraints, social inconvenience and, temporal restrictions. Thus, this work is used an analytic hierarchy process (AHP)-based Geographical information system (GIS) to choose and determine the suitable site for new hospitals construction and their services. It is performed throughout two stages, the first one is to determine the availability land for constructing a new hospital based on many factors such as: distances from landfill, existing hospitals, main roads, railways, water bodies as well as erasing the residential area. These factors are represented the constraint area. The second stage is to select land suitability via the suitability process is achieved based on various factor decision weights.
