The nodes are used to monitor environment by spatially distributing them and by interfacing with sensors. All acquired data is transmitted wirelessly to gateway which in turn can process it independently or can be connected to a host system which can collect, analyze, process and present data using some software. IOT is an physical object network. Objects can be vehicles, buildings, devices, switches, and other items. The network is embedded with electronics, sensors, and softwares. Network connectivity is enabled to allow these objects to collect / acquire data and process whole data as per application requirement [1]. In this paper we present a system to monitor environment of soil with the help of WSN. Various sensors are used and data is acquired from each of them. Attention is needed for a farmer to protect his field from different disasters caused either by human or by nature. Human effort is not sufficient and also very expensive to pay for a worker. Here we are using few sensors to monitor the farm those are temperature sensor, moisture sensor to check whether the field is dry or wet and a LDR to verify the lighting at that place. All these will be monitored and sent to the authorized persons email id in the form of mail. The main cause of Endodontic treatment failure is the incomplete sealing of the root canal. The degree of endodontic success needs to be evaluated based on mechanical sealing of root canal cavity with gutta percha also there is a need to quantify measures for evaluating Root canal success. The economy of India being heavily dependent on agriculture becomes vulnerable due to lack of adequate irrigation facilities. In this paper, a multiple linear regression model has been developed to reckon annual precipitation over Cuttack district, Odisha, India. The model forecasts precipitation for a year considering annual precipitation data of its three preceding years. The model testing was performed over a century-long dataset of annual precipitation i.e. for 1904–2002. Assuming the intercept or constant of the multiple linear regression model as zero, the equation developed thereby displayed a superb result. The model predictions showed an excellent association with the observed data i.e. the coefficient of determination (R2) and adjusted R2 value was obtained to be 0.974 and 0.963 respectively. Remotely sensed images being a rich source of information can be used for the same. Furthermore, the system has to be trained in order to automate the process of ship detection from the acquired images. This Paper aims onto reviewing the various existing methods for ship detection stating their advantages and limitations. It also states the experimental results obtained by using Haar-like algorithm which has been widely used in the field of image recognition. Photovoltaic power systems authorize the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) to collect useful and the maximum possible solar energy. in traditional switching mode converters an energy storage element usually provides the power to the load device, thus increasing the overall cost in terms of volume and weight and, also a significant loss in energy, typically above 20%. The nodes of USN has a peculiar character tics like float mobility, limited bandwidth and energy, signal and link quality, routing challenges and its cost and high error probability. This nature if USN degrades the performance in terms of throughput and lifetime. This paper presents the link quality, routing path issue built on depth based routing techniques to overcome the shortages in the existing work. Triangular metric based routing is a geometric combination of Packet Reception Probability(PRP), Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and Link Quality Indication (LQI) that is used to select the next forwarding node with reliability, which in turn reduces the routing cost. moreover it makes the very less energy consumption and improves the network lifetime. This method overcomes the unnecessary overlapping and repairs the link failure during network operation. These traceability links are being commonly identified through Information Retrieval (IR) based techniques. But, it has been found that the resulting links from IR contain many false positives and some complementary approaches have been suggested for the purpose. Still, it usually requires manual verification of links which is neither desirable nor reliable. This paper suggests a new technique which can automatically filter out the false positives links (between requirement and source code) from IR and thus can help in reducing dependence as well as incorrectness of manual verification process. The proposed approach works on the basis of finding correlations among classes using either structural or co-changed dependency or both. A threshold is selected as a cut off on computed dependency values, to accept the presence of structural and co-changed dependency each. Now the traceability links are verified using these dependencies. If atleast one of the structural or co-change information validates the link obtained from IR approach, then that link is selected as candidate link, otherwise removed. Different thresholds have been experimented and comparison of results obtained from IR and the proposed approach is done. The results show that precision increases for all values of thresholds. Further analysis of results indicates that threshold in the range of 0.3 to 0.5 give better results. A new hybrid approach using Kaiser window and Discrete Fourier Transform has been presented in this paper for exon location detection. Furthermore various numerical mapping schemes have been modeled and tested for locating the protein coding regions (EXONS) by exploiting the Period-3 property of the exonic regions. The resulting power spectrum density curve proves the efficacy of the algorithm. The proposed approach is simple with less computational complexity that makes it easier to be implemented on a hardware platform.
