Huge amounts of personal data is being generated and collected each day during this process. Current business model of SNS involves in analysing this user generated data; displaying customized content and tailor made advertisements. Along with this, they may leverage on external revenue generating mechanisms as well. This gives rise to several data security and privacy concerns. Some of the litigations that SNS have been involved in recent years are a witness to it. Hence, there is an urgent need to define holistic privacy preserving regulations to curb this. Technically feasible solutions that empower users to protect their privacy are need of the hour. Solution should be robust and secure while providing scope for service providers to sustain and grow their business and revenue. Current work is a step towards achieving privacy preserving social networking. Proposed novel framework describes an architecture to provide users of service an option to securely opt-out of sharing personal data with SNS, there by avoiding being targets of behavioral advertising; yet ensuring revenue generation for SNS. We also try to bring out the necessity of updating consumer data privacy and security laws around the world.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"231 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132517153","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The variation of Chaos, Fractals and Entropy of the EMG signal is represented for biceps muscle contraction under varying load to reveal the underlying system dynamics. Methods: The EMG signal is acquired through a developed EMG signal acquisition circuitry to obtain the time series for offline data analysis. We have used the tools of Non-Linear dynamics to calculate Fractal dimension, Chaos and Entropy. We have implemented some specific algorithms to obtain the optimum parameters required for successful estimation of Chaos, Fractal Dimension and Entropy of surface EMG signal during dynamic muscle contraction. Results: The presence of deterministic chaos was clearly evident in case of arm flexion with different loads. The complexity of the signal, as evident from the fractal dimension calculation, revealed enough information about the complexity associated during arm flexion condition. Further application of the Entropy estimate helped us to estimate the change in uncertainty or rate of information transfer with increased loading of muscles. Significance: Since the non-linear dynamics technique proves to be an efficient tool to address the changing dynamics associated with muscle contraction, it can help in quantitative assessment of muscular activity. Therefore we propose here a technique of biomedical signal processing and analysis to be effectively applied in EMG signal analysis and interpretation.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131634268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Color picture encryption scheme proposed is headquartered on RPFrDCT and pertaining to space and disordered mapping. The authentic-valued output, the nonlinear manipulation, the excessive sensitiveness and immoderate robustness to the cipher keys are the main advantages of this scheme. From the experimental outputs we can show that the proposed encryption scheme is feasible and mighty. To convert solar PV which is in DC needs to be converted into AC by using the devices like 3 phase inverter and boost converter. The solar PV is a variable DC that is to be converted into pure DC for which will convert variable DC to pure DC. The MPPT is designed and is applied to boost converter which increases the solar PV's efficiency. Then the output of boost converter which is DC voltage is given to 3 phase inverter. The 3 phase inverter which is connected to output of boost converter will convert the DC voltage into AC and we get sinusoidal AC. Finally all the devices are simulated and synchronized together and we have got appropriate output.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133513084","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The goal is to quantify the stained cells which are used to comment on the severity of cancer. In general, the expert pathologist performs the visual assessment task which is obviously tedious, time consuming and prone to inter-observer variability. In order to provide improved prognostic decision, there is an urgent need of developing not only reliable but also a rapid IHC quantifier. In view of this, our study aims at developing an automated IHC profiler for quantitative assessment of ER, PR and Ki-67 molecular expression from stained tissue images. We propose here to use CMYK color space assisted IHC image analytics, whereas most of the available literature suggests color deconvolution method for stain separation followed by quantification of positive and negatively stained cells. The proposed AutoIHC-Analyzer is compared with ImmunoRatio software available in public domain. From the results, it can be observed that our method provides better results for the original IHC images and comparable results for preprocessed IHC images.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"220 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123062016","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The world is not the same what it was before 20 years. With new technologies every new day, mankind have achieved tremendous amount of dreams which were almost impossible few decades back. Automatic cars, auto navigating planes, goods delivering drones and many more are the dreams going to complete in near future. Navigation signals will play key role for the development of this technologies. At the same time a group of people having destructive mind have developed the jammer and spoofers which can affect the navigation signals. It worsens the navigation system. It may totally lose the navigation signals or may feed the wrong navigation signals to mislead the system. These things are being proved as a bigger challenge to the upcoming technologies. To fight with this enemy detailed study of jammers and spoofers are required. In this paper jammers are categorized using different ways to understand its signal property. After proper knowledge of these signals one can develop a system which will be immune to the jamming signals. Here, the classifications are done with the detail signal characteristics of jammer, are more beneficial to develop reinforce navigation signal receiver.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"516 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123087160","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For optimal use of cloud's potential power, effective and efficient algorithm are required, which will select best resources from available cloud resources for different applications. This allocation of user requests to the cloud resource can optimize various parameters like energy consumption, makespan, throughput, etc. This task allocation or mapping problem is a well-known NP-Complete problem. In this paper, we have proposed an algorithm, Task Based allocation to minimize the makespan of the cloud system and also to increase the resource utilization. We have simulated our algorithm, TBA in CloudSim Simulator in a heterogeneous environment. CloudSim is one of the simulation tools of cloud environment which provides evaluation and testing of cloud services and infrastructure before the development of the real world. During the comparison of the algorithm, we provide the sorted tasks to the TBA algorithm once and un-sorted tasks in the second time. We have compared sorted-TBA, unsorted-TBA and random algorithm where the sorted-TBA algorithm performs better.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123887594","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
