Vehicle stabilization systems such anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and electronic stability control are introduced since the late 1970's and have now become almost standard in every passenger car. ABS are mainly applied to two track vehicles, i.e. which have at least four wheels. For single-track (two-wheeled) vehicles such as motorcycles, because the realization of applications is more challenging due to the extended system dynamics and practical limitations such as space, weight, power requirements, etc. In this work elaborative study of motorcycle ABS system is given. The aim of this paper is to design linear PID controller and obtained desired braking performance in order to prevent wheel locking of considering motorcycle wheel dimensions. The performance of the proposed controller is verified in MATLAB/Simulink environment.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121262839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As nonlinear loads causes the harmonics in the system and therefore the power quality gets reduce because of these non linear load. Hence power quality is study with case I. Non linear load without SSSC & case II. Non linear load with SSSC in IEEE 9 bus system. The diode bridge rectifier is used here as non linear load. Series FACTS devices are most powerful controllers used for power flow, power quality, power oscillation damping and improving transient stability of the power system. Power quality study is carried out with Fast Fourier Transform analysis and Total Harmonic Distortions are obtained which shows the harmonics present in the system. Results are validated by using MATLAB.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130189017","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Before draining, the liquid column is induced with a rotation (N rpm) using a motorized stirrer where rotational speed can be controlled. Drain port eccentricities are equal (e). During draining, as the liquid level reaches certain height called ‘critical height’ (Hc), a vortex air core develops and extends down touching the drain port. Results show that as N is increased, Hc is increased. At N=200rpm (highest speed tested), at the smallest eccentricity, lowest critical height occurs for the largest value of d2 (equal to d1). At larger eccentricities, a significantly different highly non-linear variation of Hc w.r.t N is seen with vortexing nearly suppressed for the case with drain port sizes equal. In many engineering systems, occurrence of ‘vortexing’ is reported and hence, the present study carries significant practical relevance. All the studies reported so far were with single drain port and hence, the present study is first of its kind.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128058170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Lymphoma is mainly classified into two i.e. Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. In Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma there are four stages. In the first stage, cancer will spread to one extra −lymphatic organ or site and in remaining stages it will spread to another part of the human body. In this work, we develop a computational tool for predicting the appropriate drug at accurate dosage for each stage of Lymphoma. We are going to apply ten to twenty Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma drugs which are taken from drug bank. Using alignment method we are predicting the stages of lymphoma, once the sequence is aligned high matches and less number of mismatches, gap, deletion and insertion can be considered as stage 1. According to the result obtained, we consider the people affected by four stages of Lymphoma and then predict the protein structural changes in each person. Simultaneously, multiple drug interact and the result is analyzed. If the obtained result has high binding affinity in docking, then the drug is adaptable for that stage. Our optimized algorithm can perform multiple drug interaction and docking prediction in 3-D structure affinity in each person.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127511157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The goal is to quantify the stained cells which are used to comment on the severity of cancer. In general, the expert pathologist performs the visual assessment task which is obviously tedious, time consuming and prone to inter-observer variability. In order to provide improved prognostic decision, there is an urgent need of developing not only reliable but also a rapid IHC quantifier. In view of this, our study aims at developing an automated IHC profiler for quantitative assessment of ER, PR and Ki-67 molecular expression from stained tissue images. We propose here to use CMYK color space assisted IHC image analytics, whereas most of the available literature suggests color deconvolution method for stain separation followed by quantification of positive and negatively stained cells. The proposed AutoIHC-Analyzer is compared with ImmunoRatio software available in public domain. From the results, it can be observed that our method provides better results for the original IHC images and comparable results for preprocessed IHC images.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"220 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123062016","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The world is not the same what it was before 20 years. With new technologies every new day, mankind have achieved tremendous amount of dreams which were almost impossible few decades back. Automatic cars, auto navigating planes, goods delivering drones and many more are the dreams going to complete in near future. Navigation signals will play key role for the development of this technologies. At the same time a group of people having destructive mind have developed the jammer and spoofers which can affect the navigation signals. It worsens the navigation system. It may totally lose the navigation signals or may feed the wrong navigation signals to mislead the system. These things are being proved as a bigger challenge to the upcoming technologies. To fight with this enemy detailed study of jammers and spoofers are required. In this paper jammers are categorized using different ways to understand its signal property. After proper knowledge of these signals one can develop a system which will be immune to the jamming signals. Here, the classifications are done with the detail signal characteristics of jammer, are more beneficial to develop reinforce navigation signal receiver.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"516 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123087160","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For optimal use of cloud's potential power, effective and efficient algorithm are required, which will select best resources from available cloud resources for different applications. This allocation of user requests to the cloud resource can optimize various parameters like energy consumption, makespan, throughput, etc. This task allocation or mapping problem is a well-known NP-Complete problem. In this paper, we have proposed an algorithm, Task Based allocation to minimize the makespan of the cloud system and also to increase the resource utilization. We have simulated our algorithm, TBA in CloudSim Simulator in a heterogeneous environment. CloudSim is one of the simulation tools of cloud environment which provides evaluation and testing of cloud services and infrastructure before the development of the real world. During the comparison of the algorithm, we provide the sorted tasks to the TBA algorithm once and un-sorted tasks in the second time. We have compared sorted-TBA, unsorted-TBA and random algorithm where the sorted-TBA algorithm performs better.","PeriodicalId":343232,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference for Convergence in Technology (I2CT)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123887594","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
