In both cases the surge voltage or the current wave propagating via the transmission line into the transformer winding are considered and influence of the transmission lines on a travelling surge wave is studied. The model of the whole system is based on the circuits with distributed parameters and is described with the system of partial differential equations. The mathematical model is solved numerically by FDTD method it results in the time-space distribution of the voltage and the current. It enables to determine the most dangerous points at the winding and to improve a design of the isolation system and system of protections. Some illustrative examples are solved and interesting results are presented.","PeriodicalId":343071,"journal":{"name":"2012 ELEKTRO","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121425251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Each phase of induction motor is fed independently by one-phase full-bridge inverter. A general model suitable for Indirect Rotor-Field-Oriented Control (IRFOC) system of the two-phase induction machines including a relatively simple and effective decoupling scheme is proposed in the paper. However, model asymmetry in TPIM causes extra coupling between two stator windings. To use the IRFOC, the asymmetry must be eliminated by using an appropriate variable changing. A computer simulation and experimental verification of the IRFOC for two-phase induction motor drive is realized and results are presented.","PeriodicalId":343071,"journal":{"name":"2012 ELEKTRO","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125331825","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For LED surface patterning, the interference lithography based on a double-exposure process using two-beam interference method was used. The prepared photonic structure pattern in the LED surface was analyzed by atomic force microscope. Such prepared LED with 2D patterned photonic structure shows considerable enhancement of light extraction efficiency and improved far-field radiation pattern.","PeriodicalId":343071,"journal":{"name":"2012 ELEKTRO","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128319395","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

If the requirements on the independence of redundant parts are unfulfilled, then a common-cause failure can through its effects on multiple redundant parts directly cause a hazardous state on a system level. Identification of sources and quantification of the common-cause failure parameters proved to be a formidable task. The latter problem, including other major safety-affecting factors lays in the focus of this paper. Our proposed technical safety analysis concept is extended, so now it partially covers elusive problems related to the common-cause failures.","PeriodicalId":343071,"journal":{"name":"2012 ELEKTRO","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126876803","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
