This paper emphasizes on the analysis of the heart rate variability (HRV) and investigates the relationship of cardio vascular variations in a person with respect to the Blood Glucose Level (BGL). Further, energy ratio of autonomic nervous system (ANS) activities (sympathetic and parasympathetic) has been calculated by R-R time series of non-diabetic young adults. The survey is based on digital electrocardiogram and symbolizes as an effective tool to indicate the autonomic nervous system regulation of the heart. During the study, Electrocardiograms (ECG) had taken through “Power Lab 26T” device. Carrying such equipment is a necessity for recovery or survival, however, it is a cumbersome process. This hinders their daily activities and affects both, their physical and mental state. The objective of this paper is to tackle this problem. In this paper, we design a medical assistant robot which helps the patient in carrying medical equipment necessary for him. Our objective is to create a person following assistant which helps to drag this equipment and also provide support to the patient. This robot will take all the weight of the equipment and let the patient be free, and it will also provide support in terms of balance and assistance. It will make the patient independent and speed the recovery by improving their physical as well as mental state. It will autonomously follow the person using a unique color coded marker on them and avoid obstacles in its way. The boundary scan circuitry is inserted at the inputs of ICs and testing is done by feeding test patterns. To overcome the drawbacks of primitive testing methods like in-circuit, functional testing techniques, a newer boundary scan technique is adopted in the proposed paper which reduces the testing time and cost. There is a need for low cost PCB test technology, which allows the miniaturization of PCBs with simple design rules [1]. The test patterns are stored in the input data register and are fed as inputs to the boundary scan cells. The test patterns are also fed to the core logic circuit that is being tested. The core part of the technique includes the design of main module called tap controller. JTAG TAP controllers have become a deliverance and control mechanism for Design for Test [2]. Its output is stored in the register and compared with the known value to conclude whether the IC is functioning properly or not. In clustering protocol, selection of cluster heads is an NP-hard problem. There are many solutions are proposed in the literature for this problem. Existing solutions are not energy efficient and scalable and suffers from energy hole problem. In order to solve energy hole problem, this paper proposes an Improved Harmony Search Based Clustering protocol for mobile sink based WSNs where a novel objective function is used for determining the cluster heads. In addition, mobile sink re-localization algorithm is also incorporated to reduce and balance the energy consumption. However, the emerging needs in wireless communications is making the spectrum congested, and hence there might be a scarcity of spectrum in future. Cognitive Radio (CR) is a niche technology to increase the effective utilization of spectrum by the opportunistic usage of idle spectrum resource dynamically. To evaluate different spatial interpolation techniques, the data used in this paper is from the field measurements from Wise-Project Measurement Report: “PMSE Protection Measurements in Helsinki City Theatre” and applied interpolation techniques in ARCGIS software such as Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW), Theissen or Voronoi interpolation, ordinary, universal and indicator kriging. Mangaraj","doi":"10.1109/RTEICT.2017.8256785","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/RTEICT.2017.8256785","url":null,"abstract":"Small size, multi-band rectangular microstrip patch antennas using Defected Ground Structure (DGS) for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN-5.8 GHz), Worldwide interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX-5.8 GHz), Airport Surveillance (2.7–2.9 GHz), and Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) Europe (10.7–12.75 GHz) are presented in this paper. A thorough study has been made into the different multiband applications of the antennas using various slots such as square slot, triangular slot etc. in the ground plane. The above mentioned DGS patterns are simple and easy to etch on a commercial microstrip patch antenna. These structures reduce the cross-polarized (XP) radiation field without affecting the dominant mode input impedance and co-polarized radiation patterns of a conventional antenna. This novel concept (DGS) has been examined using CST Microwave Studio software employing a rectangular patch as the radiator. In this paper we provide the theoretical study of the different algorithms for NMF factorization such as Least Square Error (LSE) divergence, Kullback-Leibler (KL) divergence, Itakura-saito (IS) divergence, Non-negative hidden Markov model(N-HMM), Bayesian NMF, NMF with Automatic Relevance Determinant and Complex NMF applicable for the 2-dimensional data matrix. In this paper design of suitable control strategy of a non-isolated bidirectional DC-DC converter is described. The given converter has simple structure and it is having high voltage gain. Four number of power switches are used in the proposed converter along with passive components such as a capacitor and two inductors. The proposed converter voltage gain is high compared to conventional converter in step-up mode. This bidirectional converter will be used to transfer energy between battery bank and PMDC machine. Design of converter has done for given rating and steady state response is analyzed.
