Sharing this data with other banks will provide an efficient way of offering their customers with personalized services and will deliver value-added data services to the entire banking sector. This data is highly sensitive and requires a secure sharing medium. However, secure data sharing is a taxing and troublesome job. This paper proposes a framework for sharing Secure Sensitive Data between banks which includes Secure Data Transfer, Secure Data Storage, Secure Data Delivery and Usage & Destruction of Data which uses Variable AES in place of Normal AES for securely storing the data as Variable AES is an enhancement to Normal AES since it uses new sub key for each block of data. This framework provides security of the user's sensitive data and shares this data safely. To allow banks to share their data we have implemented this framework using the cloud application where we provide user authentication, data integrity and access control using the Proxy Re-Encryption mechanism. At the same time, data owners (Bank) retain complete control of their own data in a safe and sound environment.","PeriodicalId":342831,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd IEEE International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Information & Communication Technology (RTEICT)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114526491","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The garbage containers that are placed at public places are found to be overflowing frequently due to increase in the daily waste disposal. In this research, IoT (Internet of Things) enabled waste management system using ZigBee network and MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) protocol is proposed to determine filled status of the garbage container. The data acquisition module placed within the container updates the server via ZigBee coordinator, whenever the level of the garbage reaches the threshold. MQTT is a lightweight protocol and it provides the communication link between coordinator and the server. Optimal path for collecting the filled containers is determined in the server using Haversine formula and travelling salesman algorithm. The information is intimated to the garbage collection unit through Telegram messaging application to minimize time and fuel cost.","PeriodicalId":342831,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd IEEE International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Information & Communication Technology (RTEICT)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116872230","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A number of sensors combine to form Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). Cloud computing is an emerging technique provides shared processing resources and data to the end user. The sensor cloud infrastructure constitutes WSN and cloud for managing physical sensors on IT infrastructure. Sensor cloud should be energy efficient as the battery in the sensor has a limited lifetime and there is requirement of more energy to run the servers. User requests are very frequent and if any user requests to access sensor network through cloud system, the request redirects to the sensor network every time which consumes more energy of the sensor. We have proposed a model in which cloud systems can predict the future sensor data and due to this, there is no need to redirect every user request to sensor network. The sensor network also uses load-balancing routing scheme, which uses different paths to route the data from sensor node to the gateway as a result all nodes are used uniformly and the network lifetime is more. There is less transmission overhead in our proposed approach due to the use prediction scheme in cloud system and the network lifetime of the sensor network is more as the variance of consumption of power of all nodes in the sensor network is less due to load balancing routing. Use of prediction scheme in cloud system and load-balancing routing in the sensor network will be the future direction of research to minimize energy consumption in the sensor cloud environment.","PeriodicalId":342831,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd IEEE International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Information & Communication Technology (RTEICT)","volume":"107 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123432230","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The palm print unlike other biometric features is too many in numbers. This could lead to very long and exhaustive feature set. Also the minor deviation within the feature space tends to interfere with the accuracy of the palm print recognition. To overcome these existing drawbacks in this paper, we propose a novel PCA based adaptive weighting algorithm. The Principal Component Analysis (PCA) provides feature space compactness whereas the adaptive weighting suppresses the minor deviations that interfere with the performance. The proposed algorithm provides better accuracy than other existing state of the art methods. The Adaptive weighting is based on the orientation of edges. The proposed adaptive weighting PCA based palm print recognition (AWPCA-PR) is faster and efficient compared to other existing state of the art methods.","PeriodicalId":342831,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd IEEE International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Information & Communication Technology (RTEICT)","volume":"225 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123636081","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the huge potential available in the nation in the form of export opportunities is not effectively tapped as one third of these produces get deteriorated in post-harvesting. Further, the post-harvest losses affect the per-capita availability of fruits and vegetables and results in high marketing cost, market gluts and price fluctuation. Lack of proper cold storage and cold chain facilities in the country are the major bottlenecks causing the post-harvest losses. Previous research works on cold storage system emphasize the need for monitoring all the essential parameters and demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of using fuzzy logic for controlling these parameters through MATLAB simulation. Hence, it is planned to design and implement an intelligent fuzzy logic driven PWM controller for a cold storage system to control the required parameters. The controller module is designed, implemented in hardware and tested.","PeriodicalId":342831,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd IEEE International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Information & Communication Technology (RTEICT)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123677559","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Inertia required for the active power support is calculated from fundamental equations and are used as design values for the generator/turbine. The rotor is connected to a dc bus through a bi-directional ac-dc converter and on the ac side the frequency and voltage is varied as directed by a Virtual inertia controller. With the shaft speed and grid frequency as inputs the controller gives out the rotor injection frequency and voltage. The active power sharing across rotor and stator is facilitated by controlling the phase angle of the inverter pole voltage with respect to the rotor voltage. The entire system is executed in MATLAB/Simulink Model and its performance is evaluated under various wind speed conditions. At different wind speeds the inertial response and the statorrotor power sharing are presented for varying inverter phase angles. The power balance is verified in each case to validate the effectiveness of the proposed virtual inertial controller.","PeriodicalId":342831,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd IEEE International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Information & Communication Technology (RTEICT)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116906577","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to remote locations, it is difficult to provide conventional energy source. Vibration energy harvesting(VEH) is source to such electronic devices. VEH is power source for MEMS, working on electromagnetic energy conversion principal. VEH devices gives maximum output at its resonance frequency. But if excitation frequency is varying, maximum output is not obtained. Multi-frequency device having sub devices of different frequencies can be used. Device working band widen is possible by combining induced emf of each sub device. This paper present three sub devices of natural frequency 10 Hz, 12.5Hz and 15.5 Hz. Distance between two magnets affects in repulsive and attractive force. Three devices are arranged with axis of oscillation coinciding each other. This paper studies repulsive arrangement of adjacent sub VEH systems. As distance between subsystems reduces, repulsive force increases. This affect behavior of systems. Different experiments have conducted to study effect of distance between sub VEH systems. Also output of sub systems connected in series with different combinations and total output voltage is studied. It has been found that 2 mm distance between sub system 1 and 2, 14mm distance between subsystem 2 and 3 is giving constant output of 10.5V in range 8-17Hz. So vibration energy harvesting band can be increased by multifrequency arrangement.","PeriodicalId":342831,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd IEEE International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Information & Communication Technology (RTEICT)","volume":"200 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120874597","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the method used for cleaning of the mesh was completely manual & the time duration for cleaning the mesh was once in a month & due to manual procedure of cleaning manual errors was also included. So we have converted the complete cleaning method in to automatic method, so the method is effortless. The automatic cleaning mechanism includes camera for capturing images which will be compared with each other 1) without dirt 2) with dirt after comparison we will detect whether the cleaning is required or not. This method will make the system decisive for cleaning purpose. Till now, this is only the method which will clean the rain guage automatically. Initially, mechanical methods were used for electronic tilt of antenna arrays in the base station. But with the increase in number of users, these methods proved to be less efficient. In order to overcome these limitations, various adaptive algorithms have been worked upon. Adaptive algorithms are mostly used in the base stations rather than at the user equipment end due to space constraints. For adaptive beamforming two types of algorithms are a basic requirement; they are adaptive beamforming and direction of arrival (DOA) estimation. DOA algorithms estimate the direction of the desired signal and this estimated signal direction is given as an input parameter to the adaptive beamforming algorithm. This algorithm forms the beam using suitable number of array elements based on the user location and other practical requirements. There are various DOA estimation algorithms such as MUSIC, MVDR, and ESPIRIT. Examples for adaptive beamforming algorithms include LMS, RLS and many more. In the proposed work, MUSIC algorithm has been used for DOA estimation and LMS algorithm is used for beamforming. Variation of beamwidth with variation in active array elements and error in DOA estimation of MUSIC algorithm has been estimated using MATLAB tool. Further interference mitigation has been achieved by forming side lobes in the direction of the interference signals.","PeriodicalId":342831,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd IEEE International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Information & Communication Technology (RTEICT)","volume":"139 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125824519","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this regard the routing in CRNs plays a vital role in which the energy needs to save in routing and reduce the channel interference when the primary user interrupts the access needs to be allowed in this case the spectrum holes become useful in case of the secondary or unlicensed users. The best available spectrum hole is to be detected and is to be utilized by the secondary user. The sudden appearance of the primary user may lead to the necessity of an alternate path, resulting in delay in routing or in some cases leads to link failure and requires re-routing. The proposed system undertakes the routing process based on the overall delay and the load maintained at each node as the metric. An effective routing algorithm for a multi-hop cognitive radio network is proposed based on energy detective sensing and routing decision is being made based on the channel quality indicator.","PeriodicalId":342831,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd IEEE International Conference on Recent Trends in Electronics, Information & Communication Technology (RTEICT)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126120279","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
