However, there was a considerable lack for proposal of a proper idea that considers the susceptibility of structures to change with time through other adjacent structures. Considering such a point of view necessitates an alternative approach to functional perspective. Thus, a process-oriented architectural decomposition of a simplified organization structure embedded in a supply chain is applied to analyse the structure dynamics. This novel perspective to dynamic multi-structure systems is introduced in this research and the comparison with its function-oriented perspective is studied. Furthermore, the critical role of enterprise resource planning systems for data acquisition, analysis and retrieval in such a complicated worldview into organizations is discussed. Moreover, the value added to enhance these planning systems by this perspective is specified.","PeriodicalId":341512,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"12 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115483440","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By combining lateral transshipments (LT), emergency replenishments(ER) and CONWIP (Constant Work in Process) strategies, we design two new strategies, LE(LT+ER) and LEC(LT+ER+CONWIP). System dynamics simulations are used to test the effectiveness of the two proposed strategies mentioned above. The experimental results suggest that though LE and LEC both can effectively improve customer service level and reduce cost. However, LEC is better than LE. LEC can obtain less system inventory under the given customer service level. When CONWIP is used in LEC, the emergency supply chain becomes a pull system and has higher performance.","PeriodicalId":341512,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"552 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131905314","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the absence of positive mechanism to drive the coolants away, the heat dissipation does not occur effectively. This work therefore, proposes a novel application of heat sink approach for dissipation of heat during drilling of titanium alloys. In this work, highly conductive copper plates are glued to the titanium plates being drilled either on the sides or at the bottom. The copper plates thus form Butt jointed or Lap jointed heat sink. Extensive experimentation has been performed while measuring thrust, torque and temperature during drilling to evaluate the effectiveness of heat sink strategies. It is observed that the Butt jointed heat sink reduced the thrust by 15% and torque by 26% over the dry titanium plates without a heat sink at the cutting speed of 35 m/min. Cutting temperature is also reduced by 58% by the use of Butt jointed heat sink over the Lap jointed heat sink.","PeriodicalId":341512,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"393 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116497747","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All kinds of emerging technologies appear constantly. Once the enterprise seizes the technology opportunities, and realizes technological leapfrogging, it gets competitive advantage. In the process of technological leapfrogging, enterprises may choose strategy of technology inheritance, or strategy of technology substitution. The process of path evolution is a process of evolution game. Based on theoretical analysis, the evolutionary game model is established. It concludes that the low order dynamic capabilities make the enterprise in locked state, while the high order dynamic capabilities are the condition of technology substitution.","PeriodicalId":341512,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129569947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During the decision-making process of the implementation, physical arguments of the geography are weighted, among other significant variables, based on one of the multicriteria methods in decision-making called ELECTRA I, used on variables that are qualified and subsequently limits of comparison, as a way to help the selection of characterized alternatives.
