Like finger impression, foot and toe impressions are currently considered as valuable clue used for gender identity. This study investigates the relationship between gender and toe print ridge density in the Bidayuh population in Malaysian Borneo so that the findings may be applied in real crime scenes.Materials and method: The sample collection was conducted at Sarawak state, Malaysian Borneo and recruited consented 100 males and 100 females of Bidayuh population, considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The toe impressions were collected by inking technique, following the standard procedure and five areas in five left toes and five right toes (great toe, second toe, third toe, fourth toe and little toe) were designated for analysis from each foot of the participant. The samples were analysed and calculated the toe impression ridge density using a standard magnifier. The findings were presented in the form of tables and graphs.Results: The result shows that the ridge density of females was found to be comparatively higher than males in all five toes on both sides. The ridge density on the left toes is not the mirror image of the right toes in both genders. Thus suitable densities show bilateral asymmetry. The statistical analysis shows that maximum sex differences observed in the third toe on the right (t value 7.77) and left (t value 9.473) side of this study population.Conclusion: The study concluded that ridge density in toe impression on the Bidayuh population provided helpful information on gender determination. Even the presence of a single toe impression is sufficient for crime scene application.","PeriodicalId":340986,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Management & Science","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128008574","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite this support, the rate of unemployment among university graduates continues toincrease daily. The study examined how entrepreneurial curricula in selected universities in Kwara Stateinfluence students' mindset on entrepreneurship. The study adopted a thematic analysis based on datacollected from the in-depth interviews obtained from nine students across the selected universities inKwara State. They concluded that students were engaged in industrial attachments, vocational skills,workshops, and group projects that greatly influenced students' mindsets toward entrepreneurialbehaviours through skills acquisition and team building. The findings also revealed that the study hasimplications on strategy development for entrepreneurship development curricula of universities in KwaraState and students' goals. Therefore, it is recommended that the students' entrepreneurial mindset shouldbe enhanced through career team building; the schools should encourage undergraduates to attendworkshops, acquire vocational skills and also encourage the students on holiday jobs.","PeriodicalId":340986,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Management & Science","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125509092","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data were collected from the Central Bank of Nigeria Statistical Bulletin. The study's objective was addressed with the application of Engle Granger Cointegration Test, Error Correction Model, and Impulse Response test. The following are the findings of this research work: The model's error correction coefficient indicates that the model accounted for 81% of disequilibrium caused by an error in the long term. The lag values of RGDP have a negative but insignificant relationship with RGDP. This implies that past economic growth leads to a reduction in present economic growth in Nigeria. In the same vein, crude oil exports and RGDP have a positive and significant relationship, confirming that crude oil exports highly drive that economic growth in Nigeria in the short run. At the same time, the reverse is the case in the long run. Hence, oil exports support the presence of the Export-Led Growth Hypothesis only in the short run in Nigeria. Furthermore, the dynamic interaction between oil exports and economic growth was examined within the context of impulse response analysis. Shocks to oil exports generated a significant positive response initially, which gradually decreased over the forecast period. It could be concluded that oil exports have a crucial impact on the Nigerian economy. Because of the above findings, this study makes the following recommendations for the policymakers in Nigeria; promoting oil exports could be considered a viable policy in increasing Nigeria's economic growth. Also, it is imperative to state that the policymakers should factor in time lag to ensure appropriateness in the timing of policies formulation.","PeriodicalId":340986,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Management & Science","volume":"178 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114335934","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of the obvious disadvantages brought by the traditional passive classroom learning in China, online self-regulated learning, as a new learning method, has been paid more and more attention from Chinese universities. Online self-regulated learning adapts to the development of society. However, in China, the traditional academic year system limits the freedom of learning of university students. Most students lack learning motivation and affect learning efficiency, so the academic credit system has become an important factor that affects the development of online self-regulated learning. This paper will discuss online self-regulated learning and the academic credit system that affects online self-regulated learning in detail.","PeriodicalId":340986,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Management & Science","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124657163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aimed to investigate the effect of coffee consumption on blood pressure among frequent and non-frequent drinkers in rural and urban area of Kota Kinabalu. A total of 168 participants (Mean age = 26.52 ± 6.33 years; female = 50%; weight = 61.35 ± 12.52 kg; height = 163.37±7.70 cm; diploma holder = 45.2%) were recruited. Questionnaires consisting of socio-demography (5 items), caffeine intake frequency (2 items) and knowledge on coffee, blood pressure and effect to human health (10 items) were distributed. Blood pressure (BP) was taken before coffee consumption and after 30th, 60th, 90th and 120th minutes. SPSS version 24 were employed for statistical analysis. Frequent drinkers displayed significantly higher BP on the 90th (p=0.015) and 120th (p<0.001) respectively after intervention compared to non-frequent drinkers. Significant upshot of BP was detected among frequent drinkers between 0th and 30th minutes (p<0.001), 30th and 60th minute (p<0.001), 60th and 90th minute (p=0.002), 90th and 120th minute (p<0.001). Subsequently, only urban participants reported significant increase in BP between 0th and 30th minute (p<0.001), 30th and 60th minute (p<0.001), 60th and 90th minute (p<0.001), 90th and 120th minute (p<0.001). Both rural and urban population possessed moderate knowledge (5.85 ± 1.91 vs 5.71 ± 1.73). This research ratifies that frequent caffeine intake elevated higher BP.
