Therefore, in this paper, the optimization of the design of a wound rotor induction motor using a genetic algorithm with objective function including power losses and motor weight is proposed. Initially, after Magnetic Equivalent Circuit (MEC) modeling, different parameters are selected with sensitivity analysis, and then optimization process is performed on a sample of 4.3 MW, 6 kV, 1000 rpm. Finally, the optimized parameters by the finite element method are accredited thermally, magnetically and electrically.","PeriodicalId":339990,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th Conference on Knowledge Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129782084","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The incidence of this disease in women has increased significantly in recent years. Currently, early detection is an important factor in cancer treatment. The most effective method for early detection is mammography. The computer aided diagnosis (CAD) systems are essential to help searching for suspicious signs, or classifying lesions in benign or malignant types. In this paper, we want to discuss masses as one of the most important indicators of breast cancer. To classify and detect masses in mammograms, different data mining techniques have been used. On the other hand, the problem of classifying masses in mammogram images has placed many challenges for researchers. Before implementing a mass classification system, there is a need to be aware of the available problems and challenges in order to select the appropriate methods and classifiers. Hence, we first review the methods of mining and classifying masses in mammograms. Techniques that are commonly used can be categorized into four groups: Function based, probability based, similarity based and rule based techniques that are briefly discussed in this article. Then, we propose a categorization of existing challenges in the problem of mammographic mass classification. These challenges are divided into two parts: Data related and technique related challenges. Finally, the presented techniques are evaluated and analyzed according to the involved challenges.","PeriodicalId":339990,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th Conference on Knowledge Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116343124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Switching algorithm and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of the MLIs are important issues in the MLI operation. In this paper, THD and switching algorithm of three 15-level inverters topologies are investigated. In order to obtain their optimal switching algorithm, a THD-based objective function for output voltage waveform is expressed and optimized by using Genetic Algorithm (GA). Simulation of these topologies in MATLAB/Simulink is carried out to validate the results of GA. As shown in the paper, asymmetrical 15-level inverter has better performance than other topologies.","PeriodicalId":339990,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th Conference on Knowledge Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131982804","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of using predictive and tracking error and its rate at the same time this controller is more significant than simple model reference. This controller is a first order sliding mode controller in which several multipliers have been added to optimize the controller performance. To optimize these multipliers, a Lagrange multipliers optimization based is used for the first time. In comparison with evolutionary algorithms, it will be shown that using the Lagrangian optimization algorithm needless any iterations which makes this algorithm very fast and thus suitable for applications such as real-time systems. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed optimal method offers a faster response against uncertainties when the height of tank is also optimized.","PeriodicalId":339990,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th Conference on Knowledge Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"107 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127383187","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed method for designing an optimal nonlinear controller in a closed loop shape, in contrast to the usual methods based on indirect methods, is a combination of direct and indirect methods. The law of control is based on the solution of the nonlinear Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation (HJB). For complex dynamics, this equation is solved using the Galerkin method and a nonlinear optimization algorithm. Another goal is to determine the dynamic loading capacity using this controller. The simulation results indicate the efficiency of the method in tracking the preset path from the manipulator, as well as determining the load capacity of the dynamic.Industrial robots are now widely used in various fields. Also, in parallel manipulators, linearizing the complex dynamic equation of motion is time consuming as well as complicated, but it is highly rewarding, since it can contribute to the achievement of fast and precise dynamic performance capabilities of the foregoing manipulators. Therefore, in this paper, instead of finding the nonlinear form of the dynamic equation of delta parallel robot by means of virtual work method, a linear form of the dynamic equation is calculated. To this end, kinematic analysis has been performed by resorting to the screw theory, as it provides more compact formulation of Jacobian matrices and facilitates the employment of virtual work principle. After finding the Jacobian matrices of input-output, and the Jacobian matrices between each link and end-effector’s kinematics parameters, the full dynamic equation of motion of robot has been written. The twists comprising the equation has been determined separately and linear form of dynamic equation of robot has been computed. Afterwards, the SimMechanics model of 3-DOF. Delta parallel robot has been constructed and a simulation is performed in order to verify the validity of proposed equations of motion, and the corresponding error of computed torques of actuators comparing with Simscape’s direct results is given.","PeriodicalId":339990,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th Conference on Knowledge Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129429245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Users will be able to access the software with the help of a web browser. On the other hand, the advances that have been made in data collection and storage capabilities over the past decades have provided a lot of information in many sciences. Data mining is an attempt to obtain useful information from this data, and the growth of growth data globally has doubled the importance of data mining. Data mining has some shortcomings, including: 1. Data existence: Data must first be investigated and useful data extracted, which is accompanied by an error. 2. Accuracy of data: Data collected in order to be correct or incorrect may have errors, for example, instead of the male gender. 3. Failure to acquaint and control the general public and even experts in the field of data mining algorithms; Analysis methods in data mining. Procedural content generation using artificial intelligence algorithms helps producing this artistic materials with significant variety and based on various traditional source materials and avoiding virtual environments to be derivative. These systems can also lead to multi-cultural variety and use of traditional art in digital environments. In this paper, a recurrent deep neural network based framework for procedural composition of the traditional Persian music is proposed. The proposed system learns from the classical Persian musical modal systems and then produces new music. The proposed system is evaluated and the results show that the deep neural networks are capable of producing traditional Persian music with acceptable quality.","PeriodicalId":339990,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th Conference on Knowledge Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124564338","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
