Abstract

A compact MIMO antenna with S- and WLAN bands is presented. The single element of the MIMO antenna is excited by a microstrip feed-line and a rectangular defected ground plane. A stepped feed-line is used to improve the impedance matching. Each working band is generated by using a stepped open-end meander line.
