The durability of the wood construction of the building decreases with age, and the possibility of termite infestation increases. This study is a descriptive-analytic study that uses quantitative research methodologies and a cross-sectional research design. The study was carried out between May and July 2022 in Balik Bukit District, West Lampung Regency - Lampung. Building data gathering techniques were used by delivering questionnaires to 100 building owners utilizing accidental sampling techniques. Termites were discovered at the age of the building of more than 26 years, with the finding of four types of termites, namely Macrotermes gilvus (Hagen), Bulbittermes constrictiformis (Holmgren), Schedorhinortermes mediobcorus (Holmgren), and Coptotermes gestroi (Wasmann).ABSTRAK: . Rayap di alam bertugas sebagai pengurai bahan selulosa, menyediakan jasa ekosistem yang berharga bagi alam, namun mereka juga dapat menyebabkan sejumlah besar kerusakan pada struktur bangunan. Semakin tua umur bangunan maka keawetan konstruksi kayu yang ada di dalamnya cenderung menurun dan potensi serangan rayap akan semakin meningkat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analisis deskriptif menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei – Juli 2022 di Kecamatan Balik Bukit, Kabupaten Lampung Barat – Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data bangunan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada 100 bangunan. The research model used is the ADDIE research and development model. During the trial, data were collected using a questionnaire (Likert Scale). This study's population was the eighth-grade students, which comprised six classes at SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru in semester one of the 2022/2023 school year. In this investigation, one class of 30 samples was used to determine the sample. The findings of the superficial module expert's assessment of the feasibility of printed modules based on crosswords attained a percentage score of 96.875% with a very valid category. The results of the educator's reaction to the print module achieved a percentage score of 93.75% with a fascinating category, and the results of the student response achieved a percentage score of 87.75% with a very interesting category, implying that product development was practicable to use.ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa modul cetak IPA untuk bahan struktur jaringan tanaman dan penggunaannya dalam teknologi berbasis teka-teki silang kelas VIII. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan model ADDIE. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner (Skala Likert) pada saat persidangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah VIII yang terdiri dari 6 kelas di SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru pada semester 1 tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Untuk menentukan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 1 kelas yang terdiri dari 30 sampel. Hasil penilaian ahli modul superfisial terhadap kelayakan bahan ajar berupa modul cetak berdasarkan teka-teki silang mencapai skor persentase 96,875 % dengan kategori sangat valid. The study was carried out at SMA N 1 Plumbon classes X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 2. This study's research design is an experimental design of this design in the form of a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The data for this study was gathered through observations and tests. Because of the high category, the findings showed increased student learning activities, with an average score of 70.72%. There were substantial variations in student learning results in the experimental class, which used waste as a hidden curriculum and obtained an average score of N-Gain of 0.51 medium criteria, compared to the control class, which obtained an average score of N-Gain of 0.28 low criteria. The obtained significance value was 0.030, which is lower than 0.05, it is conclude that using waste as a hidden curriculum can increase student learning outcomes and activities.ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas belajar siswa dan menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA N 1 Plumbon kelas X MIPA 1 dan X MIPA 2. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah experimental design desain ini dalam bentuk Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan tes sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata 70,72% berkategori tinggi. Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan pada siswa kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan pembelajaran dengan pemanfaatan sampah sebagai hidden curriculum diperoleh nilai rata-rata N-Gain 0,51 kriteria sedang, dengan kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata N-Gain 0,28 kriteria rendah. This study was carried out in the Kuala Langsa Mangrove Forest Area, Aceh Province, between May and June 2022. This research aimed to look into the behavior and benefits of fiddler crabs for mangroves in Kuala Langsa. This study combined an exploratory, descriptive method using a survey methodology and direct field observation. The data was gathered in two stages: (1) Environmental adjustment stage to assess the state of seawater in Langsa City's Mangrove area. (2) The observation stage, in which the Fiddler crab's behavior patterns are observed. The research was carried out at three distinct places every two hours. According to the findings, there are male and female Fiddler crabs in varying quantities and types at each site, resulting in different activity patterns. Fiddler crabs (Uca pugnax) can be seen sunning, excavating holes and producing balls of sediment, carrying sediment balls out of their holes, and lifting and waving their claws to seek the attention of female Fiddler crabs.ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola tingkah laku dan manfaat Kepiting Fiddler (Uca pugnax). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Mei dan Juni 2022 di kawasan Hutan Mangrove Kuala Langsa, Aceh. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pola tingkah laku dan manfaat kepiting fiddler bagi tumbuhan Mangrove di Kuala Langsa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu metode Deskriptif Eksploratif dengan pendekatan survei serta observasi langsung ke lapangan. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui dua tahap: (1) Tahap penyesuaian lingkungan, untuk melihat keadaan air laut di kawasan Mangrove Kota Langsa. (2) Tahap Observasi, untuk mengamati polah tingkah laku darikepiting Fiddler (Uca pugnax). Penelitian dilakukan pada 3 stasiun yang berbedadi setiap 2 jam sekali. Dari hasil observasi, diketahui bahwa adanya kepiting Fiddler jantan dan kepiting Fiddler betina yang berbeda-beda jumlah dan jenisnya di setiap stasiun, sehingga menyebakan pola tingkah laku yang berbeda pula. Thinglink.com is used as a platform to present problems and set STEM projects, on the topic of nutrition. This research is a quasiexperimental research with One-Shot Case Pretest-Posttest Design. Data was collected by means of pre-test and post-test to assess the improvement of students' conceptual understanding. The hypothesis test used is the paired sample t test. The results showed that there was an increase in students' understanding of the material concepts, which was marked by an increase in the pre-test score (M=54.26, SD=14.73) to post-test scores (M=72.93, SD=12.63). Paired sample t-test also showed significant results, sig. (0.03 0.05) which means H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that the STEM-ThingLink learning design has a positive effect on students' understanding of nutrition concepts.ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh desain pembelajaran Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)-ThingLink terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Model STEM-ThingLink menerapkan Engineering Design Process (EDP) dalam sintaksnya. Thinglink.com digunakan sebagai platform untuk menyajikan masalah dan menetapkan proyek STEM. Aplikasi difokuskan pada topik gizi yang diajarkan kepada siswa kelas delapan IPA di sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain One-Shot Case Pretest-Posttest Design. Model pembelajaran STEM-ThingLink diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pre-test dan post-test untuk menilai peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji t sampel berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep materi siswa yang ditandai dengan peningkatan nilai pre-test (M=54.26, SD=14.73) menjadi nilai post-test (M=72.93, SD=12.63). Uji-t sampel berpasangan juga menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan, sig. (0,03 0,05) yang berarti H0 ditolak. Also, this research aimed to investigate the causes of the misconceptions. The research method was qualitative, with three schools randomly selected based on their accreditation, namely accreditation A, B, and C. The data collecting techniques used in this research were multiple choice objective tests accompanied by the reasons and column Certainty of Response Index (CRI). Furthermore, the researchers also interviewed the teachers. The analysis showed that the highest percentage of misconceptions appeared in six question indicators, with a percentage above 50%. This result showed that the percentage of students who experienced misconceptions about photosynthesis material was greater than students who understand the concept and do not know the concept.ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri sekota Bandar Lampung pada materi fotosintesis, serta penyebab dari adanya miskonsepsi pada peserta didik tersebut. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan tiga tempat sekolah yang akan dijadikan bahan penelitian berdasarkan dari akreditasi sekolah SMP Negeri tersebut yaitu akreditasi (A, B, dan C). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes objektif multiple choice yang disertai alasan dan kolom Certainty Of Response Index (CRI), dan wawancara kepada pendidik. Data hasil analisis menunjukkan miskonsepsi dengan persentase terbesar muncul pada 6 indikator soal dengan persentase di atas 50%. The results showed that there were 9 toponyms with biological elements in the form of plant names in Harjamukti District and Kesambi District in the Cirebon City area. The development of research results into learning resources on Plantae material in the form of a Digital Encyclopedia made using software called Sketchware. The Digital Encyclopedia created and developed in the form of an application can be run on smartphones with the Android operating system. Pengembangan hasil penelitian menjadi sumber belajar pada materi Plantae berupa Ensiklopedia Digital dibuat dengan menggunakan software bernama Sketchware. Ensiklopedia Digital yang dibuat dan dikembangkan berupa aplikasi dapat dijalankan pada smartphone dengan sistem operasi Android. This study implemented a survey approach that involved theories, relevant evidence, and existing facts by emphasizing the structural model (path) of the relationship between the variables studied. The subjects of this study were 20 students of SMKN 2 Maros and four homeroom teachers. The data collecting technique used by the researchers were questionnaires and online interviews. The data analysis technique referred to by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Based on research, the teachers' creativity at SMKN 2 Maros in utilizing e-Learning was 82.5 and 85 in the high creativity category. Therefore, the creativity in using e-Learning during the online learning process was high.ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kreativitas guru dalam pembelajaran daring dengan memanfaatkan media e-learning dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan survey yang melibatkan teori, bukti yang relevan, fakta dan kenyataan yang ada pada penekanan model struktural (jalur) hubungan antar variabel yang dikaji. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa SMKN 2 Maros dan 4 orang guru kelas. Teknik yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara angket, wawancara secara daring. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data Miles and Huberman yaitu, data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verivication. The study was conducted in April 2021. The sampling location was determined by purposive sampling method with 5 stations. Sampling of chlorophyll-a was carried out using a composite sampling technique, which was then tested by spectrophotometric methods. Physical and chemical parameters of the waters measured included temperature, brightness, TSS, pH, DO, BOD, nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate. The results showed that the content of chlorophyll-a ranged from 12,733–63,457 g/L. Based on the results of the study, the waters of the Sindang Heula Dam have a eutrophic status to hypereutrophic, this indicates that the waters have been heavily polluted due to high levels of nutrients. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui status trofik perairan Bendungan Sindang Heula ditinjau dari kandungan klorofil-a serta hubungannya dengan parameter perairan lainnya. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April 2021. Lokasi pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling sebanyak 5 stasiun. Pengambilan sampel klorofil-a dilakukan dengan teknik composite sampling, yang selanjutnya diuji dengan metode spektrofotometri. Parameter fisika dan kimia perairan yang diukur meliputi suhu, kecerahan, TSS, pH, DO, BOD, nitrat, nitrit, dan fosfat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kandungan klorofil-a berkisar 12,733–63,457 μg/L. The type of research used was descriptive research using a quantitative approach. The research subjects were 28 students taking ethnobotany courses in the Biology Study Program at IAIN Palangka Raya. The data were collected using the question instrument. Fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, and evaluation indicators of creative thinking ability. The results show that students' creative thinking abilities were divided into high, medium, and low. The creative thinking ability of biology students was dominantly in the low category. The students' creative thinking ability in the high category was evaluation. Furthermore, the students' creative thinking ability in the medium category was fluency, and the low categories were flexibility, originality, and elaboration. These results urged that teaching materials be developed to improve students' creative thinking ability.ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa tadris biologi pada mata kuliah etnobotani. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 mahasiswa yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah etnobotani pada program studi tadris biologi di IAIN Palangka Raya. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen soal. Indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang digunakan yaitu fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, dan evaluation. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dibagi menjadi tiga kategori yaitu tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa tadris biologi pada mata kuliah etnobotani yang dominan adalah dalam kategori rendah. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa yang kategori tinggi yaitu evaluasi, kategori sedang yaitu kelancaran dan kategori rendah yaitu fleksibilitas, orisinalitas, dan elaborasi.
