The goal of this innovative research was to determine the specific wear rate (SPR) and coefficient of friction (CFR) of zirconium dioxide-filled Al 8014 (Al-Mn alloy) matrix composites ZrO2-). To identify the finest array of process parameters for SWR and CFR of recommended composites, the Taguchi method was applied. The stir casting procedure were used to make composite samples with varied ZrO2 particle additions (5, 10, and 15% wt.). The wear tests were carried out in dry conditions using a pin-on-disk device in accordance with the L27 orthogonal design. The following four control variables were selected at three levels for this test: ZrO2 weight percent, load, disc velocity, and sliding distance. According to the experimental data, the created composite sample has a minimum SWR of 15 weight percent ZrO2, a weight of 29.43 N, a velocity of disc of 0.94 m/s, and a sliding distance of 1000 m. According to the ANOVA results, the weight percentage of ZrO2 content had the second most significant impact on the SWR and CFR, following the load. Neural network model is developed to predict the responses. The model predicts the result with an accuracy of 99.78%.","PeriodicalId":338611,"journal":{"name":"2023 Second International Conference on Electronics and Renewable Systems (ICEARS)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126867583","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But a vast majority of people especially the daily commuters prefer to use a two wheeler rather than using a public transport or a car etc...But due to negligent driving and violation of traffic rules and regulations the risk involved is high. In recent years the government has made many strict regulations in the traffic rules. But even after taking such strict measurements there has been no significant reduction in the number of accidents that has been occurring due to the violation of traffic rules. So this study has developed a solution by developing a software to continuously monitor the oncoming traffic and send a message to the concerned authority with the help of YOLO algorithm. This study proposes an algorithm to identify the motorcycle riders without a helmet or ridding with more than two riders with the help of real time surveillance videos by using YOLO algorithm. Furthermore it has also been designed to send the vehicle information of the person, who has violated the aforementioned rules with the help of twilio platform. The helmet detection feature present in this system helps to identify two wheeler riders without helmet and also helps to prevent the occurrence of accidents. Here, the model is trained by using sample images of automatic helmet detection and triple riding. Furthermore, the model is trained to capture the number plate of people, who are violating the rules.","PeriodicalId":338611,"journal":{"name":"2023 Second International Conference on Electronics and Renewable Systems (ICEARS)","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123464451","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Models that can learn complex patterns and features in data have been used in a variety of security applications, such as facial recognition, intrusion detection, and cyber security. Using authorized databases, this proposal uses security to recognize the suspect's face. Here, this article proposes a different method to analyze the long-term videos using the integration technique with the DNN algorithm to recognize the faces using the DNN, Caffe, and Torch models. This proposal used the concept of extracting only the unique features that are present in the faces, such as moles and cracks in the face, for face recognition. It also introduced the concept of \"ear-based recognition,\" where the ear is also a unique part of the body. This feature will be added during the dataset creation and training itself using the DNN feature extractor, Torch. The dataset created with the help of the seven-angle technique suggests taking the seven different angles of the person to cover all the features, and this proposal also handles the problem of camera tampering using the backward subtraction model.","PeriodicalId":338611,"journal":{"name":"2023 Second International Conference on Electronics and Renewable Systems (ICEARS)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123742594","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The linked devices receive power from the main Thunderbolt power supply via a TB cable's TB cable power supply unit, which also powers the controller and support system (powered by an external AC adapter). from the capture of schematic and HDL designs to circuit simulation, signal integrity testing, PCB design, and the design and development of embedded systems using FPGAs. The Altium Designer environment can also be customised to fit the needs of a wide range of users. Electronic printing technique is used to create printed circuit boards, which serve as the electrical connections for components. The sole rule that PCB design must follow is the schematic diagram; to eventually implement the functions specified by circuit designers, the number of PCB layers are determined by the complexity of the schematic diagram and the size of the PCB. Depending on how many layers they contain Printed circuits boards are divide d into layer wise. As a result of the development of electronic technology, PCBs have been widely utilised across all sectors and are now found in almost every electronic product. Dissipative balancing is the easiest and least expensive of these options. But this isn’t very effective and takes a long time to balance. Capacitor balancing is a popular way to transfer energy because it is easy to use, small, and cheap. However, it has a slow balancing speed, so converter-based balancing has been used a lot. Lastly, runtime balancing, which is a relatively new technique, does a good job of balancing speed and efficiency. This paper compared different cell balancing techniques. Battery pack consisting of 4 cells whose balancing mechanism are discussed. The proposed active cell balancing model balance cell voltages by using the Buck-Boost converter technique. It also demonstrates the comparison between the active cell balancing with passive cell balancing and the latter its model is implemented utilizing switching-shunt resistors. Active cell balancing (ACB) proves to be better for lithium-ion battery-powered electric cars, according to this research. The proposed ACB method takes T=7.285s, T=3.953s and T=7.91s during static, charging and discharging state respectively, for cell balancing. This work shows that the proposed ACB technique balance cell faster than the passive cell balance technique, along with less power loss.","PeriodicalId":338611,"journal":{"name":"2023 Second International Conference on Electronics and Renewable Systems (ICEARS)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123820499","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

That’s why there’s been a rise in the demand for edge cloud computing power from endpoint gadgets. Due to its adaptability and proximity to the user, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) may be used to support mobile edge computing (MEC) via job offloading, potentially relieving strain on edge clouds. Due to limitations in processing power and battery life, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) devices face a huge issue with the rise of Applications and services for mobile devices that can't afford to be delayed and that need a lot of processing power. Task offloading is one way that mobile cloud computing may help you get around these restrictions. The biggest difficulties with this paradigm, however, are the significant latency and security concerns. The edge-cloud computing model was then proposed and has since seen widespread adoption as a means of dealing with these complications. However, the present task offloading models allow UAVs to perform their heavy jobs at the linked edge server, leading to unnecessary loads owing to the huge amount of UAVs and, in turn, increasing the latency. For this reason, this study has presented a delay-optimal task offloading strategy for multi-tier edge-cloud computing with many users. In this research, a system model has been proposed to assist an intelligent and perceptive agent in determining the best computational offloading strategy, minimizing both the time it takes to complete a job and the amount of power it needs to do so. The efficacy of an agent was shown, and simulation results revealed that its adoption may greatly cut delay and energy usage.","PeriodicalId":338611,"journal":{"name":"2023 Second International Conference on Electronics and Renewable Systems (ICEARS)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131279790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This PMSM is the driving machine in an electric vehicle which also acts as a generator when the vehicle is downstream or during braking conditions. During this condition due to the unpredictable speeds of the vehicle, the terminal voltage generated by PMSM is fluctuating and might damage the connected battery. Therefore, the terminal voltage of the PMSM is stabilized using switched capacitor module charging the battery with reduced ripple. The three switches (one per phase of PMSM) of the switched capacitor module are controlled by a voltage feedback-oriented control integrated with PI and reverser PI controllers. These conventional controllers are further updated with DSM-PI controllers for better performance of switched capacitor modules. With the new controller, the duty ratio of the switches has better stability improving the switching and performance of switched capacitor module.
