This study quantitatively examines the effects of rib and cavity configurations on heat transfer and fluid flow in a rectangular MCHS (Microchannel heat sink). Effect on thermo hydraulic performance of MCHS by increasing the number of ribs and cavities from 20 to 80 also has been checked. This investigation ranges the Reynolds number from 100 to 1000. Fluid flow and heat transfer governing equations solved for laminar, steady and three-dimension flow of fluid by using the finite volume method in Ansys Fluent. Thermal and hydraulic performance of MCHS with ribs and cavities is compared with plain channel (with no ribs and cavities on the side wall). By constructing the ribs on the side wall of MCHS the base plate temperature, pressure drop, heat transfer coefficient, Nusselt number, friction factor and thermal resistance are calculated. It is found that thermal performance of plain micro channel is increased by constructing the various shaped ribs and cavities on the side wall of micro channel. Thermal performance of micro channel has also increased by increasing the number of ribs and cavities on the side wall of micro channel heat sink. The numerical results show that minimum base plate temperature is observed at 80 square ribs on the side wall and minimum pressure drop at 60 square cavities on the side wall of MCHS.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122180176","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To get the most power out of the solar modules under variable load conditions despite variations in turbulence and uncertainties in temperature and other factors, the project is concerned with the design and implementation of an optimal, efficient, and robust control by optimizing the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of the solar modules. The paper aims to analyze and simulate a hybrid energy management system that uses a variety of energy input sources to supply energy to loads at an optimal level while utilizing reliable management practices. The power sources are hybrid in nature, allowing us to use two energy-providing sources in backup mode at the same time. The first of these is a solar energy source, and the second is a wind energy source. One of the design goals of this study endeavor is to get the most output possible from various power sources using strategies, technological procedures, and systems. To efficiently and reliably extract the most significant amount of power from the source, a Fuzzy logic controller using the MPPT algorithm is designed and put into practice.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131402828","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Each logic gate has a name that explains how various inputs will affect the potential outcomes. To perform logical functions on one or more binary sequence of inputs and produce a single digital output, logic gates are utilized. Embedded systems, microcontrollers, electrical and electronics circuit boards, and programmable logic applications generally make use of logic gates. When the sensor receives no information, it generates low Output impedance for logic 0. It has been determined that using logic gates to create an edge avoider robotics that lowers project budget and speeds up the robot. With the growth of technology, the neural network could also be used for implementing the logic gate using Single Layer Perceptron neural network often termed as Linear Threshold Gate. This paper attempt to analyze the mathematical inference on the number of execution steps for the weight adjustment in the activation function of AND Logic gate. This inference carried out by varying the input of Single layer Perceptron Neural Network in the form of unipolar and bipolar input. The activation function weight adjustment had carried out using batch and sequential mode of execution. Mathematical implementation of AND logic gate exhibits that Bipolar sequential and Bipolar batch mode weight adjustment had less number of execution steps reaching 100% accuracy by matching the desired and predicted output when compared to the unipolar. The detailed execution steps are produced herewith for the validation of outcome.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114952718","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The rapid proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices is driving a dramatic increase in radio spectrum demand. These devices can utilize cognitive radio (CR) technology to access the bandwidth left unused by licensed spectrum users, also known as primary users (PUs), to meet end users spectrum requirements efficiently. However, because PUs are given priority, CR-enabled Internet of Things (CR-IoT) devices, also known as secondary users (SU), must frequently communicate with one another in an opportunistic manner or under stringent power constraints. This can complicate CR-IoT device communication, render it unstable, and restrict its throughput. This paper proposes a hybrid spectrum access algorithm that combines underlay and interweave spectrum access methods to address this issue. When a PU is detected, under the proposed scheme, CR-IoT devices utilize underlay spectrum access. In contrast, when no PU is detected, CR-IoT devices employ interweave spectrum access. In addition, a proposed iterative algorithm permits CR-IoT devices to adapt their sensing thresholds, and sensing time based on the Signal-to-Noise ratio (SNR) received from Pus to strike a balance between achievable throughput and fairness among PUs and CR-IoT devices in extremely noisy channel. Simulation results demonstrate that the throughput for CR-IoT devices increases by 28% in proposed scheme when compared to the conventional spectrum access schemes.","PeriodicalId":338586,"journal":{"name":"2023 Third International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communication and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129924993","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
